Posted @withregram • @amy.cycling.adventures #instagram #foto 400km ~ 12418ft elevation Poynton ➡️ Holyhead 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 ➡️ Poynton @audax_uk Out third PBP (Paris-Brest-Paris) qualifier 🙌 Setting off at 9am we expected a day of rain but were gifted with sun and clouds all day 🎉 absolutely LOVED it as always & super proud of @kylephudson for his longest ride yet. Arrived back at 3.30am, lots of snacks (a magnum at 217 miles I’m really hit the spot🍦) laughs, a few tiffs (bound to happen when you’re tired 😂) & a supportive atmosphere got us to the end 🫶 I’ve never been so pleased to see a village hall and and airbed! Of course I finished the ride with a crunchy apple 🍎 (and a whole loada pasta). Highlight - Arriving at the cafe at the halfway point & having the best beans on toast ever (at this point I was trying to distract from the fact that we’d ridden 125miles and had another 125 to go). Lowlight - Getting a puncture at 2.15am that took 40 minutes to sort out because of a faulty pump 😭 not ideal 8 miles from the end! Just the 600km qualifier to go now then we’ll be off to France in August 🙌 #audaxuk #audax #cyclinggirl #cyclist #cyclists #cyclingstyle #womencycling #roadcyclinguk #roadcycling #roadcyclist #cyclingpassion #cyclingaddict #endurancecycling #womenriders #bikegirl #cyclingculture #rideout #maap #cannondalebikes #cyclingadventures #cyclingadventure #adventure #explore #bikelove
