I'm currently dealing with burn out, so I'm cutting down on tumblr time to focus on other things ( like exercising, reading, other things that might actually be good for me while I have a bit of recovery time off work ) for a short while. I just adore your clark / kal. you capture so much nuance and have such a clear voice for him, and your portrayal is so clearly a love letter to the various canon iterations we've seen of him over the decades. I'm excited to write more with your clark ( both here on alex and with lana ). keep it up!

this is so kind of you to send in!! thank you so much, it means a lot to me coming from THE alex danvers <3 so, i think it's no surprise that most of my superhero media is comic consumption, and whilst i have seen supergirl in its entirety, since alex was made for the show specifically, i never felt like i understood her quite as well as i did most of the others. however, your portrayal brings so much to alex and has given me a greater understanding and appreciation for her as a character. as for lana, whenever i see you post, it makes me so nostalgic for the smallville tv show as you capture so much of what made that show (especially the earlier seasons) so great. thanks for bringing two amazing characters to life and giving them the attention and depth they deserve 😌

3. Are there other characters you’re interested in rping or wish to? — There are a couple Star Trek characters I've been thinking about for a while. I've literally had a Seven of Nine blog ready to go for months, but something's never quite clicked to make it active. For DC, I've given serious thought to Querl Dox / Brainy, but I'd have to rewatch Supergirl again for that. I've also had some ideas for an Arrowverse based Chloe Sullivan, basically a very canon divergent version of the Smallville character that would fit with my Clark's timeline, but never serious enough to commit to it. I think she's someone I'd rather write with than write as.

6. Other characters/muns you’re interested in roleplaying with? — I've got a whole bunch on my wishlist! But at this precise moment I'd be most excited to write with Lois Lane, Bruce Wayne, Diana, John Henry Irons, Lex Luthor, and literally any of Clark's kids.

Winter w/ @murder-popsicle — Tabby is always delightful to write with, and I love the whole AU and dynamic this thread kicked off for Clark and Bucky.

Revelations w/ @iwillalwxysfindyou — basically just playing out the actual reveal scene where Clark tells Lois his secret. I really loved Snow's characterization choices for Lois in that one.

Inevitable w/ your Lana — I know we've barely started it but the feels are already perfect and your writing is always gorgeous 💞

14. Would you get along with your muse? — I can't imagine not getting along with Clark tbh. He's just a genuinely nice, good guy.

how physically attracted they are to your muse:

i was immediately aware of how attractive alex was the first time i met her - it was kind of hard not to be - but over time, i started notice the little things that have made her even more so... like the way she scrunches her face when she’s been up to no good, and the way she’s come into herself. ( her confidence is quite sexy and at times, lack there of endearing. )

plus, her brain. she’s quite literally one of the smartest people i know. that obviously scores her some major attraction points.

how romantically attracted they are to your muse

she’s the type to love with her whole heart, and while i don’t believe i actually deserve such a relationship with the woman, i think being loved by her would be something akin to what they write stories about.

how often they would like to have sex with yours:

at this point in time? at least once would be very much welcome. and of course, what happens after that would be added bonuses.

where they would most likely have sex with yours:

a bed? perhaps a couch? i can’t say i have a preference as to where things happen, as long as they’re happening.

whether they think yours would be  “good”  in bed

i’ve seen her chase after criminals and engage in hand-to-hand combat. i’m pretty sure ‘good’ would be an understatement.

the mess that is alex's inferiority complex / underlying resentment for kara's power and how their parents favoured her ( that ofc contrasts with her self - sacrificing and absolute willingness to do literally anything for kara ) that was just forgotten after s2.

alex's party girl phase + how some of that recklessness and self - destructive behavior still exists.

EXPERIENCE: I've been rping since probably 2005 ( generally on forums ), but I started on tumblr in 2011-ish.

PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: I love angst. I thrive on angst, hurt / comfort, etc. that being said, I also like a bit of fluff mixed in - alex is a huge romantic and deserves to romance and be romanced, and I won't ever deny her or myself that. smut is probably the thing I'm least likely to write, although I will with the right partner and if it makes sense for the plot. I'm just not good at it.

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS: ' gender bending, ' anon hate, bigotry, vague posting, excessive callouts, and love - bombing / toxic positivity. I've been in the rpc long enough to have no time or patience for any bullshit ( particularly after experiencing SO much of it ), and I won't hesitate to hard block anyone who partakes.

PLOTS OR MEMES: memes are excellent ice - breakers, but I do love a good plot.

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: generally I write 2+ paras and start rambling, but if I'm feeling burned out or incredibly lazy I can write something short - especially if it's a meme reply.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: these days it's the mornings, weekends, or within the first hour or so after I'm done with work. by the time I get off work at 8pm my brain usually just wants to shut off, so I try to work around that.

until she met maggie, alex never really thought of coming out as something she'd ever do. it wasn't a concept that she could even have imagined associating with herself.

for as long as she could remember, alex pushed any thought of being a lesbian down and locked it away, and reduced any intimacy she shared with anyone to something meaningless, to a fling or one night stand that was always tainted with disgust and self - loathing and dulled and blocked out by booze. for the brief moment in which she let herself feel it, having feelings for her best friend in high school terrified her, and instead of giving herself the time and freedom to really consider what it meant, she shrugged those feelings off as irrelevant, secondary to the more important things going on in her life: school, then college, and work. being a perfect daughter, a perfect sibling, even when she resented it.

and kara always, always came first.

when maggie came along, it was impossible to ignore what she felt. being a skilled soldier and tactician ( the firepower behind the DEO's director, and then a brand new kryptonian superhero ) didn't matter when suddenly, she was faced with the all - consuming intensity of her first real love, and her initial reluctance to admit any of it to herself — and then, once she'd actually welcomed what that meant, and accepted who she was, the terror that her family, who'd never known much of anything about her nonexistent love life, might suddenly look at her differently.

coming out to her sister might've been one of the hardest things alex has ever done, but she won't ever regret starting to unlearn her self - neglectful behaviours, or taking that first step to being her authentic self.
