Daily Tumblr Post: Tuesday 10/11/22

Last night, I slept at 4:15AM because I had a huge list of assignments to complete. I got approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes of sleep and woke up at 6:30AM to make it to my shift at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center by 7:00AM. As a care extender, I have two different shifts. First, from 7:00AM to 11:00AM, I worked in the east unit on the eighth floor where I assisted liver transplant patients. Then, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, I worked at the information desk on the first floor to assist visitors in navigating the hospital and registering them into the system to accommodate their visitations with their loved ones. For brunch in between classes, I ate a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. From 2:00pm to 5:00pm, I attended my Labor studies class. Then I went to Koreatown and had dinner with a friend at a restaurant called Yellow House Cafe. We had delicious ddukbbokki and kimchi fried rice, and for dessert, we got a matcha shaved ice. Afterwards, I had a workout session. I would rate my day a 10/10 because I started my day early and got the opportunity to meet with and talk to a lot of my friends.
