' no dormì bien anoche ' — @bowwies
' voy a cocinar, ¿quieres comer?

Lost And Found Chapter 14: Spirit Bound
Summary: Emmet contemplates the future, and Sheyla makes a plan.
Word Count: 3136
A/N I"M BACK! IM SORRY!
Uh, so I got busy, and I did a pretty heavy editing sesh with this fic. So, I'd advise going back and reading a few chapters, mainly chapter 10/11. Most of it was POV reworks, and including a certain blonde, and a more cohesive infodump, but other than that things haven't changed much. :3 It's all so future chapters work out in the end!
----------------
Emmet sighed with a grin, collapsing in his chair as he looked up at the various monitors that kept tabs on everything in the station. He was exhausted, but that didn't stop him from wiggling in his seat, drumming his fingers on the table as the Depot Agents left to handle their night shift tasks.
He and Shey made a good two-car train.
They weren't perfect; Shey was prone to forgetting that she had a partner that could handle type disadvantages if need be, and Emmet found himself about to make callouts that Ingo would normally answer. There was also the occasional awkward pause when neither trainer spoke following a victory or defeat. Shey defaulted to Emmet, but Emmet was used to Ingo speaking up first. But, by the end of the day, they were nearly in sync. Shey worked around Emmet, allowing him to take the lead unless his Pokémon were knocked out or she had a strategy she simply had to try.
Even when they lost, it was fun!
Emmet was very grateful to Shey. Battles were exciting again. Well, not that they weren't before–they were! He enjoyed his battles as much as he could without Ingo. But, Shey brought a certain different excitement to battles, one that he hadn't realized he had been missing since Ingo's disappearance. It was the thrill of something new that could bring unpredictable results.
It made him look forward to his brother's return. When Ingo came back, battles would be even more exciting!
