Y’all acting like LA doesn’t have dozens of professional facilities, private gyms, coaches, and spaces outside of the team to use lol. Like, ACFC isn’t doing half bad but also finding space to literally construct something in the valley is ridiculous lmfao!!!

LA is still a market destination because of the access it affords to players through connections, community, and opportunity! Also, I think that we often don’t recognize the difference in college campuses and their offerings. For example, Red stars played at Benedict for a while iirc and that’s like not even close to quality vs the schools ACFC train at being used as film sets regularly lol they got $$$. It’s not about acfc being cheap, it’s about how LA doesn’t have physical space for those types of buildings and getting permits from cities etc is hard. Congrats to KC but like, their owners are involved a real estate no?

Reign have trained in Tacoma for years but finally are moving to seattle. I don’t think it’s useful pointing fingers here and demanding all clubs do the same because it’s not how the environments work for them.

Reign aren't moving to Seattle, they're moving back to Tukwila, to Starfire, the same place they LEFT because they said they didn't feel like it provided them with a professional training environment years ago. Just for perspective.

Well if there’s one player at ACFC that’s allowed to do whatever she wants and bring whoever she wants to the facilities, it’s the face of the team. And if there’s one non ACFC player that would be given the okay to workout at their facilities, it’s Tobin. Christen used to train at Portland facilities during the off-season years ago, I don’t see why Tobs can’t use the facilities when the injured are using it too.

I don’t think people should be reading anything more into it though guys, we’ve always got our hopes shattered and T seems happy chilling for right now
