How is each magical witch dynamic with their familiars?

Gertrud and hers are like a princess and her knights. They protect her without fail and love her very much. They are made from her house plants that she named things such as Anthony or Adelbert

Ulla is the reincarnation of Suleika’s late dog. Ulla is her only close friend so she loves her dearly. There is one main Ulla that she knows is hers but she still loves the others similarly

Charlotte isn’t very close to her familiars as she already has friends and family she cares about a lot more. Pyotr are her playmates and sometimes bring her cheese. Polina are quite strict so Charlotte isn’t so fond of them but they’re good at looking after her when Candeloro is busy

Elly isn’t close with Daniyyel and Jennifer either. She sees them more as tools for use but they don’t mind. She’s closer with the two main angels as she sees herself in them and they sometimes help remind her of her good memories when she’s feeling low.

Albertine is close with all her Anja as she sees them as friends. She made each one herself so she loves them all. The Anja are all a little more mature so they can look after Albertine better. However sometimes they can be a little overwhelming for Albertine because of their great number.

Gisela isn’t particularly bothered by Dora. Like Elly, she sees them as tools. They’re simply there when she needs them. Dora look up to her however as they just think she’s so cool.

Elsa Maria and Sebastian are like master and servant. Sebastian blindly follow her orders without question because she is their beloved witch. They are happy with this because she gives them a purpose

Uhrmann couldn’t care less about the Bartels, they just get in her way. Even when they wish to help or console their witch, she won’t listen. They’re not very strong either because of the witch’s lack of self confidence so they might as well not be there

Oktavia is close with Holger and Klarissa. Holger are her band members and Klarissa are her students that she teaches dance to at school.

Izabel is very fond of her familiars but she denies it and won’t show so to others. Each familiar is a work of art made by her so she loves them all. They may not be very well made or original but their witch thinks everything she makes is perfect

Patricia has a familial/friendly bond with Mathieu as they represent her late classmates. They’re her perfect idea of a classmate so of course she likes them. The teacher Mathieu are a bit more stern and cold but Patricia respects them and they respect her.

Roberta hates Gotz, just like usual. They simply cat call her and try to show off their muscles. She couldnt care less, at least they listen to her during battle but otherwise, forget it.

Walpurgisnacht’s shadow magical girls are all her adopted daughters. They can transform alongside their witch but are not witches themselves. The love is mutual. The other parade troupes are a bit more distant to the witch. Unlike her daughters they are made of magic and are a little more unfeeling. The witch however, respects them for staying by her side.

Candeloro adores her Du Polignac, she cherishes all the friends she has. They work with her at her cafe and all strive to do well for her. Each one of them gives the witch a strange feeling of deja vu but she never thinks about it too deeply.

Ophelia is neutral on Zoe, they are merely there to aid her, they are her army. She is striving to be strong enough to fight without them. Zoe dont mind this, they are happy doing whatever pleases her.

Quitterie adores her familiars, Kyutee. Theyre just the epitome of cuteness how could you not? They dont do much to fight but she doesnt mind. That just makes them all the more cuter!

Itzli detests her familiars, she cant always control them. They are morphed forms of other witches familiars that try to mimic their new witch. The witch hates them because they remind her of foolish witches. The familiars are all surprisingly strong.

Nutcracker Homulilly doesnt care about most of her familiars except the clara dolls. As the rest are great in number but generally weak, they are seen as disposable to her. The clara dolls however, she treats like her little sisters. She wouldnt like them so much if they werent so powerful. They think like her and follow her every whim so theyre perfect.

MK-S: More heartbreak, based on JunkoAnon’s post before she filled in the time-stop plot hole. Mine would be the reason why Klarissa didn’t stop Homura in the time stop; she couldn’t move. Phil wouldn’t let her. It doesn’t recognize this…imposter, wearing Lady Klarissa’s hat, body, and soul. Phil didn’t mind the murders, not at all; but he took issue with the cruelty, with how much she enjoyed it. The keeping of MGs trapped bodyless in soul gems bringing a smile to her face. Klarissa had even thrown a couple soul gems into her hat, expecting Phil to torture them. He did not.

He knew if the real Lady Klarissa could see what she had become…she would be disgusted. Just as he was.

(This is not implying evil Klarissa was possessed or replaced; just that Phil no longer recognizes her as the same individual who was his “friend”.)

With Oktavia's death Anthony and Klarissa change drastically. The whole time they lived they didn't know what true despair is, they lacked a nature born from said despair (See: Oktavia - Falling in love, Gretchen - Salvation, Ophelia - Abandonment, Charlotte - Tenacity, etc.)

But then it changes. They both gain a nature born from despair, something that inherently changes something in them and really shows their more general witch nature.

I dont quite know what it is for Klarissa yet (simply because she hasnt been around for all that long), but Anthony's nature is prevailing.

Yes he wants to kill those magical girls that got his mother, but at the end of the day his true desire is prevailing against everyone and everything, to the end of time itself and beyond that. Because see, even when Oktavia dies not all of her familiars vanish. Some of the Holgers, Anthonies and Klarissas stay, and the witch siblings take them in (He gets Holger and his familiar-brothers, while his sister takes in the remaining Klarissas).

And thus inside his labyrinth is now an orchestra, made of his mother's remaining familiars and his own, that continues to play Symposium Magarum at all times. Even at the most outer parts of his labyrinth you can clearly hear it, at any time, at any moment it plays for eternity.

Anthony's nature is to prevail because as long as he lives his mother's symphony continues to play, as long as he lives no one will ever forget Oktavia von Seckendorff - the first mermaid witch.

(His labyrinth in general lives up to the name "labyrinth" in the most literal sense. It's a forest full of long bridges, laterns and a LOT of fog. Shadows, voices, fake walls, just about anything to keep one as far away from the concert hall that stands in the middle as possible.)

Phil not recognizing either of them anymore is only logical, not even their own parents can still properly recognize their kids.
