Lady OCs and Canons do not have it any better now than they did before. The community just started putting them on pedestals rather than spitting on and kicking them. How often do you now hear a female character is omg so mommy and boss bitch and then fandom does absolutely fuck all with her? How many times is she deemed 'too good' for shipping with men? How often is lesbianism or bisexuality used not to expand diversity in canon ladies, but to shuffle them away from The Sacred Penis?

Instead of shoving them into the gutter to get them away from men, it's putting them -- and by them I mean largely white ableblodied cis characters, because God knows you aren't getting shit as the mun of a poc/disabled/trans woman -- so high on a pedestal that they are no longer visible. It's the same old misogyny and frequently fetishization of mlm that has been going on since internet fandom was coined, basically. And I am tired of it. Idealization is not equality and until there is total parity in fandom female characters are still gonna get it, whether lauded or hated.

Andrei had been completely distracted by it, that and the combined feeling of her body against him. She knew how to keep his focus on her and nothing else and she had taken advantage of it in a way he hadn't expected it. Feeling her hands trail up his arms, moving them away from her but out and up. He just assumed she wanted to feel him, all of him, but then she's quickly snapped something around his wrists. It was something he hadn't noticed being on the bed before but he quickly realized she had planned this. Andrei pulled away from the kiss, confusion etched into his features as he turns to look at his right arm and then his left to see both handcuffed to the bed frame. The confusion slowly falls as green gaze look upward as he sees her sitting up on his lap, tugging at the handcuffs as expression shifts to a glare. "What are you doing?" He asks, knowing it was rather obvious but he was seeing how far she was planning on having this go and what else there might be in store if she was so keen on revealing it. Another tug for good measure to see how well she had set this up. Damn she knew exactly what she was doing. "If you wanted a moment on top and in charge, a moment, all you had to do was ask."

There was almost something motherly in the way the old she-dragon interacted with the younger one, and Laena couldn’t help but smile from her place on the balcony. “How are you feeling?” she asked after turning around to where Rhaenyra sat. Her pregnancy, it seemed, had limited her movement a bit. Not that it had mattered much during their flight together earlier. But Leana could understand the sentiment. She knew being with child would not keep her from her dragon either. Or the freedom of flying. “I could leave if you like to rest, cousin.”

His brow arches when he looks over at the smaller figure. She did always enjoy teasing him no matter what the activity or day. Of course there was a proper time and place, she knew better. Almost as if she always had it planned perfectly. And it’s in one of those moments she chose to speak up. A small smirk tugging at his lips as he turns to look at her, picking up his family sword and placing the belt the sheath was attached to around his waist. “Oh I never lose my taste for adventure, princess.” Harwin corrects, adjusting the sword one more time until everything felt right. “I only wish for you to have a safe journey, I didn’t realize you wanted to ride around the woods of my home.” He straightens up as his one hand moves to rest on the pommel of his sword and the other on the belt buckle near it. “But if that is what you wish, then I will ride beside you to make sure you are safe and don’t find any misadventures along the way.��� A small tease of his own, hinting at the fact she always did manage to find herself in some interesting situations.
