              OUT. || I KNOW, RIGHT? Them opening the whole ass show with Reggie gassing Alex up. Their ability to have full conversations with each other onstage with just looks. The way Alex offers to let Reggie hide behind him if he’s scared. The way Reggie checks in on Alex when he has to say goodbye to Willie. The way Reggie literally helps to uplift Alex when they book the Orpheum. This enemies to friends trope is taking too long and I’m starting to give up hope.

the first character i ever fell in love with: lou ellen blackstone. she didn’t have a last name back then and she only had one scene (the epilogue in heroes of olympus book 1) and she only did one (1) thing which was steal miranda’s nose, but i fell in love and i never fell out of love.

a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: none. i like most of ‘em.

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: my otps are all between the minor characters so i don’t have that, either. 

my ultimate favorite character™: lou ellen blackstone.

               “OH, HEY, MAN.” He hadn’t been expecting anyone on the roof, least of all Alex. They all had their places they went when the world needed to quiet down, and the roof of the garage had always been Reggie’s place, ever since he’d figured out how to shimmy out of the loft window and find a foothold, hoisting himself up. 

Nowadays, it was a little easier, wishing himself there with a thought and a will, but returning to a place that had been so significant in his life made him feel like he existed a little bit more. 

                                                              I’m still here. 

He looked at Alex with a thoughtful smile, inviting him to sit if he wanted to. “Didn’t think you loved it up here,” he said. “Did you guys need me or something?”

It would be a lie if he said that he had actually been paying attention to anything. Ryder had developed a habit of getting lost in thought which only led to him spacing out. The only thing that got his attention was the small tug at his jacket- Attention flickered away from the spot on the ceiling that he had been staring at, turning his head toward whoever was trying to get his attention. Any question or comment was quick to die on his lips. The feeling of Alex kissing him was enough to make him melt into the kiss, pressing closer slowly as he began to kiss back. “Hi,” he murmured with a small smile as soon as the kiss broke.

The words make Forrest laugh a bit. Not at Alex, but Forrest has had the same thought a few times before. Maybe not asking people riddles, that part was original, but Forrest has had many days spent daydreaming of just disappearing. Living under a bridge would definitely count as that, he thinks.

“I wish. I don’t think I’m uh, clever enough.” That’s one way of putting it. He’d be terrible at coming up with riddles, remembering the riddles, and then actually saying them. Regular sentences were hard enough. “Oh, I’d also be pretty terrible at uh, telling them they couldn’t cross. If they got the riddle wrong, I mean.”

He had been focused on the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. It was truly one of his favorite sounds ever. Nothing put Willie at ease more than sitting on the beach at night. Having Alex there with him was just an added bonus. He opens his eyes, stretching on the sand for a moment before a smile comes to his face. He was starting to think Alex might never ask him that question. He was fine taking things slow; they had all of eternity, why rush things? But hearing that question definitely excited him.

The skater sits up, nodding slowly as he looks at Alex, “Nothing would make me happier,” He says softly, his eyes already on the drummer’s lips.
