#naff nuh huh #okay so reason why i'll be slow to respond is in the tags so please don't keep reading if you don't want to read about being sick #SICK WARNING READ NO MORE #anyways #went to my favorite Brazilian grill last night for my birthday #loved it everything was great the coconut limeade was delicious #but the second we left i threw up everything in my mom's car #then all through the night #i was throwing up bile and uhhhh not doing so great on the other end #i think i got food poisoning #my stomach cramped so hard that i just wanted to lay down and never get back up #soooo #start of birthday: we're so back #end of brithday: we're so over #no one else who ate with me got sick though #so i'm not sure what did it but my whole body revolted #it was a really nice birthday despite all of that <3

hAPPy brithday flash exchange: 2 years old!

The hAPPy birthday flash exchange is a flash exchange celebrating the AO3 Automagic App, which is two years and a few months old. August 18th is the second anniversary of the app doing "Everything" searches, which its creator karanguni called "a good happy birthday date."

Over the past two-ish years we've all come to know and love the automagic app and many of us use it every day, so we're throwing an exchange-y birthday party for the app where we use the "Everything" search function to find participants' old requests and make stuff for them! We will make fic of 100+ words and art that is a recognizable doodle.

Schedule:

August 5th: Nominations, Sign ups

August 12th: Sign ups close at 11:00PM EDT

August 13th: Assignments out by 12:01AM EDT (roughly an hour after sign ups end)

August 18th: APP BIRTHDAYYY + Works due at 10:00PM EDT, then an hour for snacks and editing, then reveals at 11:00PM EDT*

August 19th: Creator reveals at 11:00PM EDT

*The exchange will not open if karanguni (the app creator <3) does not have a gift because we do have standards for birthday party experiences.

Extra participation note: You do not need to be on Discord to participate! Delay notice and any pinch hit info will be posted on flashexchanges although we didn't have either last year.
