Introductions

I love the game of golf. Like a person loves to breathe, that is my love for the game. I am an aspiring Touring Professional and have spent most of my life being a competitive athlete. Pursuing anything to a level of “Master” takes a significant amount of time and CORRECT repetitions. When you are an aspiring  touring professional you have to learn to maximize time, money, and energy. For me that meant NEVER teaching because I still needed to learn the game. I have come to a point where I need to start giving back the knowledge that I have (and continue to) acquire on this journey. I want to pass along what I have learned over thousands and thousands of hours of practice. Golf instruction has come leaps and bounds from a technology standpoint. Understanding how the body works relative to path, face angle, pressure into and out of the ground, it goes on and on. But average handicaps remain the same and I ask why? Golf is, has, and continues to be taught incorrectly. Everyone gets caught up in “Swing Plane” and “Positions.” Yes, these are “relatively” important but the most basic, fundamental thing you need to do is this; CONTROL THE GOLF BALL. That’s it. Now, I realize some of you are like “no shit” but have you ever really thought about it? So this is what I want to help you learn how to do. I want you to understand HOW to control the ball in the SIMPLEST possible way, and hopefully help alleviate some misconceptions along the way. I want to help golfers play the game better as I progress in my career, but more importantly understand the game in a way that helps simplifies some of the mystique behind it. Because yes, there is a little bit of Magic in the game. Understand that, and you are 1/2 way there.
