“Hi, Everybody! Guess what happened yesterday, on February 11, 2023? And guess what time BJ and Jeannie landed at my rescue? To confirm that they very much wanted to adopt me? 11:11!! And they didn’t even plan that! I said Yes!! And, boy, they did, too! Yaaay!! I want to say a Bully-sized thank you to Stephanie Hook, founder and rescuer with FFHSA, Forever Friends Humane Society of Arizona! Without her, many of us would not be here today! I also wish to send another special thank you to Marcia, a volunteer who specializes in walking and loving on the most scared dogs who are rescued by Stephanie’s FFHSA. For the whole year that I was waiting for my forever family, Marcia took me for walks! She gently helped me to regain my confidence and trust — and in my own divine timing!! I think everyone should know this: If Marcia, a 78 years young lady, can walk me, a very strong girl, then a lot of false stereotypes about the Bully breeds and our real demeanor should be dumped! Please consider fostering and/or adopting a rescue over shopping for your next dog! Did you know many rescue organizations around the world are completely full and aren’t receiving any more animals?
