I mean... I'm yet to find an aether, auraboa, sandsurge or undertide dragon for myself... in fact I'm working on some aberration projects as I have only now discovered how much I like this breed! And I thought that was just... normal? It confuses me to a great extent seeing people claim that new ancients are throwing them off from engaging with previous ancients when... there's no time limit? Ancients are permanent, forever additions to the site and yet it feels like people treat them as limited events. Why? There's no FOMO to be had, no exclusivity to lose out on, nobody is rushing you except for yourself? Just because your auraboa project wasn't complete when dusthides released doesn't mean you failed somehow...?

I’m missing a couple of them and would love it if anyone could help me out here, but the vast majority have been identified.

EDIT: gender questioning and polyamorous have been figured out. Also accidentally misread the two-spirit flag as a generic pride flag. Don't know how I missed the feathers on that one

HI OK so I've seen a bunch of people freaking out over Discord officially breaking all their images, and I'm here to say I found a cheat !!!

So you just gotta copy the image url and paste it into Discord. It'll display your image for you, and from there you can download it and re-upload it to another image hosting site (lots of people use Imgur or Tumblr, I myself use ImgBB). Sometimes transparent images display with an odd black background, but I prommy if you download it it's still transparent.

I hope this eases some of y'all's fears !!!!

Many people seem to want a wyrm as the Earth Ancient (makes sense, making tunnels and such and also the original Earthshaker design), but I actually want a bigass, bulky monstrosity with huge claws that can fucking turn stones into dust with a single punch. I want to look at them and think “I bet this thing is the reason why the Shattered Plain got shattered”.

Out of curiosity I searched the "favourite ancient" thread to find which ancients were getting the most mentions, and which ones were getting the least.

Undertides and banescales were the least mentioned, which is a surprise because those two very much fall under the category of "what people claim they want from ancients".

Aberrations and aethers were the most mentioned. Evidently people like two headed mutant dragons and fluffy moths the most!

Sandsurge was also up there with mentions, even as a gem breed people still seem happy with them.

Gaoler, auraboa, veilspun and dusthide were sorta in-between, not fan favourites but not the least popular either.

I do wonder why a legless deep sea dragon and a classic wyvern, both of which seem like something people would love, are the least popular. Meanwhile a two headed dragon is the most popular, along with the 6-legged one. Not saying that the thread is accurate representation but it still sorta gives you a perspective. Moral of the story: staff needs to duplicate dragon details, not take them away
