Here are some movies, TV shows, games and more that I have seen that have flashing lights. I’ll try to include where you can find the thing and/or who made it. Huge thanks to everyone that helps me update and add on to this list.

MOVIES

Mary and the Witches Flower - Netflix

Cars - idk where to find it I just know that it’s made by Pixar and that all the other car movies have flashing lights because let’s be realistic here, it’s a racing movie. There are going to be flashing cameras.

Titanic - Don’t know where you can watch it but I do know that the door was big enough for both Jack and Rose to fit on

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005 version)

Ratatouille - (Pixar) Unfortunately. I think it’s a creative movie so that’s sad

Up - (Pixar) DAMN YOU, YOU ONE LIGHTNING SCENE!!

Just gonna go with all of the Star Wars movies because I am too lazy to watch each one and am unwilling to watch the prequels and the ones that Disney made

I remember when I was 12, long before the age of tumblr because I’m OLD, I was looking for Naruto fan games online. I played one labeled “naruto dating sim” which I played bc I had a huge crush on Sakura at the time which I didn’t know at the time because of comp het--anyway, it turned out to be a porn game. There was no warnings, it didn’t ask if I was 18 and it wasn’t on a porn site. It played like a normal flash based dating sim up until the end where a sex scene would play.

See, it’s all well and good to say “you can control your own experience” until you keep in mind that when people are Irresponsible Assholes simply because they can’t be Fucked to care how their actions affect other people. They put their porn in the main tags, half the time it isn’t tagged properly and even when it IS it ends up reposted to Other Sites where people Don’t tag it properly and it ends up in the google safe search. 

I’m 22 years old and the only way I can “control my experience” is by not going on mobile, blacklisting the SHIT out of the saladman tags, blocking saladmen who don’t tag properly, and Never going in the main tags or going on other fan communities. And even then I STILL end up seeing that shit sometimes. While taking every precaution, while severely limiting my fan experience to the point where i’m too afraid to read fanfiction for vld, I still see saladman porn.

So how the FUCK is a Literal Child who doesn’t know all the tricks that I do after many years on the internet supposed to avoid it when I can’t even do that much? Jesus christmas it’s not that hard to be a decent person
