Domestic cooking gas cylinder to cost over Rs. 1,000 after the latest hike!!!

This Thursday, the domestic cooking gas LPG (Liquefied Petroleum gas) has been increased by Rs. 3.50 per cylinder. This is the second hike in May taking LPG price above the Rs. 1,000 mark. The non-subsided cooking gas now costs Rs. 1,003 per 14.2kg cylinder in the national capital.

The hike comes on the back of an Rs. 50 per cylinder increase effected on 7th May. Before this, the prices were raised by the same amount on 22nd March. In just less than 2 months, the price of cooking gas cylinder has gone up by more than Rs. 100.

On 1st May, the prices of the commercial LPG cylinder of 19kg has been raised by Rs.102.50, and now the new price of the cylinder is Rs.2,355.50. In Delhi, the 19Kg commercial cylinder now cost Rs.2,355,50 while the price in Mumbai of the same commercial cylinder is 2,307 Rs. The costs of the cylinders vary across different cities because of the value-added tax and other taxes incurred by the state government.

After the hike in the cost of LPG cylinders is Rs. 1,002 in Mumbai and Rs. 1,029 in Kolkata and Rs. 1,009 in Chennai. Both the prices of the LPG and fuel have been hiked several times since the assembly election results of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa, and Punjab were declared on 10th March. Last time, the fuel prices were hiked on 6th April when the petrol and diesel rates were increased by 80 paise each. After the assembly election results, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased by Rs.10 in total.

The price hike in the gas cylinders comes when fuel rates are above 100 Rs. Per liter mark in the several states. The rates are continued to rise against the backdrop of the Russia-Ukraine war and global supply concerns.

LPG Price:देश में पहले से ही महंगाई से परेशान आम आदमी को एक और झटका लगा है। अब यह मंगाई आम आदमी के किचन तक पहुंच गया है। देश में अब आम आदमी के लिए खाना पकाना और महंगा हो गया है।आपको बता दें की कमर्शियल LPG के बाद अब डॉमेस्टिक LPG सिलेंडर के दामों में भी बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिलेगी। शनिवार को 14.2 किलोग्राम के डॉमेस्टिक LPG सिलेंडर के दाम में 50 रुपये की उछाल देखने को मिला। यह वृद्धि शनिवार यानी की 7 मई 2022 से लगो होगा। अब राजधानी दिल्ली में 14.2 किलो के डॉमेस्टिक LPG सिलेंडर की कीमत 999.50 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर होगी। इससे पहले घरेलू एलपीजी के दाम 22 मार्च को 50 रुपये बढ़े थे। वहीं अप्रैल महीने में सिलेंडर की कीमत में कोई इजाफा नहीं हुआ।

बीते दिनों उत्तर प्रदेश समेत पांच राज्यों में चुनाव खत्म होने के बाद पेट्रोल-डीजल और रसोई गैस के दाम बढे थे। उसके कुछ समय बाद एलपीजी के दाम में भी बढ़ोतरी हुई थी। इसी क्रम में 22 मार्च को घरेलू एलपीजी सिलेंडर के दाम में 50 रुपये की बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिली थी। जिसके बाद दिल्ली में गैस सिलेंडर की कीमत 949.50 रुपये हो गई।

डोमेस्टिक एलपीजी की कीमत में बढ़ोतरी के बाद एक अप्रैल को 19 कलो वाले कामर्शियल एलपीजी गैस सिलेंडर के दाम में भारी इज़ाफ़ा हुआ। उस दिन इसकी कीमत 249.50 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर हो गयी थी। बात करें अगर दिल्ली की तो दिल्ली में सिलेंडर की कीमत 2253 रुपये हो गयी है। इसके बाद 1 मई 2022 को भी कामर्शियल एलपीसी गैस सिलेंडर के भाव में 104 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर का इजाफा हुआ। उसके बाद 19 किलो वाले कॉमर्शियल गैस सिलेंडर के दाम बढ़कर 2,355 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर हो गए है।

[ad_1] Jet fuel price has been hiked by the steepest-ever 14 per cent - the third straight increaseNew Delhi: Jet fuel or ATF price on Friday was hiked by the steepest-ever 14 per cent - the third straight increase, while the commercial cooking gas rate was cut by Rs 157.5 per cylinder in line with divergent trends in international benchmarks.Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price was increased by Rs 13,911.07 per kilolitre, or 14.1 per cent, in the national capital to Rs 1,12,419.33 per kl, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers.Rates, which vary from state to state depending on the incidence of local sales tax or VAT, have been increased on firming up of global prices in the last couple of months.The hike comes on the back of an 8.5 per cent or Rs 7,728.38 per kl increase effected from August 1. Prior to that, rates had gone up by 1.65 per cent or Rs 1,476.79 per kl on July 1.In three increases, ATF prices have gone up by a steep Rs 23,116.24 per kl. On the other hand, the price of commercial LPG, used in establishments such as hotels and restaurants, was reduced by Rs 157.50 per cylinder.A 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs Rs 1,522.50 in the national capital.The reduction comes on the back of a Rs 100 per cylinder cut effected from August 1.Saudi contract price (CP), the benchmark used for pricing of LPG, has reduced since peaking in March and the same is reflected in domestic prices, industry officials said.Globally, jet fuel prices have increased in line with the firming up of global crude oil prices, necessitating the hike in ATF rates.The price of domestic LPG -- used in the kitchen for cooking purposes -- remained unchanged at Rs 903 per 14.2-kg cylinder in the national capital.Rates were last cut by Rs 200 on August 30.State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) revise cooking gas and ATF prices on the 1st of every month based on the average international price in the previous month.Petrol and diesel prices continued to remain on freeze for a record 17th month in a row. Petrol costs Rs 96.72 per litre in the national capital and diesel comes for Rs 89.62 per litre.State-owned fuel retailers are supposed to revise petrol and diesel prices daily based on a 15-day rolling average of benchmark international fuel prices but they haven't done that since April 6, 2022.Prices were last changed on May 22, when the government cut excise duty to give relief to consumers from a spike in retail rates that followed a surge in international oil prices.
