#i remember being what. 13 ish and being so excited to be 16 because that was the 'perfect age' in my eyes and it's just #it's sad yknow. not because it was true but because i put such an emphasis on it... i now recognize that there's so much more i get to do #going forward there's so much more for me to do i'm looking forward to... #i remember being 14 and having mutuals that would go on harassment campaigns against 20 y/os just for being an adult in a fandom space #and when posed with the question 'what are you going to just stop being in fandom when you're an adult' they'd say 'yes' #and that's just such a sad way to live yknow. acting like all your passions and fun will die by the time you're 20 #genuinely hope zuzuanna and damien are in better places now. they were assholes but i pity them #putting such an emphasis on youth. sigh #i'm acting like i'm 70. i'm very much not #sage talks #i don't want to get older just because of that fear of running out of time but i don't want to stay young... sigh #i'll look to the future and make the most of things won't i
