one more georgiepost before I go to sleep: I like to think that though she doesn't feel any fear emotionally, when things get really intense she can sometimes still get physical fear and anxiety symptoms. there's about a week between when melanie first tells her the plan to blind herself and when she actually does it, and it takes georgie a few days to realize that's probably connected to why she suddenly can't get more than three hours sleep a night.

So. It's not like I ever met Jason David Frank, I never knew the guy, so it's obviously not my place to speak about who he was or his quality as a person. because I just don't know. But I can say that the character he portrayed effected me in a way that few other fictional characters ever have, and that the role he played was an integral part to the childhoods of many. Power Rangers is such a special little show, that holds such a unique place in the hearts of so many people, including and especially myself, and so much of that traces back to that first season and the introduction of green with envy, the first time the show felt like it took a step into something greater. This guy helped set a trend that would continue for the next 30 years. I've had a particularly rough couple of years, and getting back into power rangers and reliving that part of my childhood has been one of the biggest and most exciting things that's kept me going, the peak of it really being my obsession with the character Tommy Oliver. Power Rangers was my birthday this year, my Halloween, countless hours reading comics, countless more hours talking about it, and even more countless hours over the past 18 years of me watching this show. So RIP Jason David Frank, I guess. I hope he knew the sort of impact he had.
