it was NOT intended as theft. It was intended in the spirit of a reblog but to minimize drama and conflict by not referring to the "oh but I can't because I'm blocked."

Reblogs and mentions and tagging people outside the creator's immediate sphere have been part of tumblr culture since its dawn. I was attempting to walk the line between continuing that practice and leaving drama and conflict at a minimum. This was intended not as plagiarism but in the spirit of "what's unknown doesn't hurt."

All blocking accomplished was closing lines of communication that would enable us to reach a solution.

Rather than attack, present alternatives and solutions. Should I hashtag them not mine? Summarize?

The people people involved were more than capable of acting like the grown-ass adults they chronologically claim to be and touching base with me privately.

And most importantly THIS DOESNT FUCKIN INVOLVE YOU BACK OFF. He grown he can speak for himself.

hey guys, it’s teddy. As you might or might not have noticed by now, @gothteddies got deleted in September by @ st*ff. I tried really hard to get it restored, and I do genuinely believe I hadn’t violated any of the guidelines for adult content on my account (evidenced by the fact that I successfully reappealed my blog being flagged twice before), but st*ff refused to communicate. I’m sure you all know the run-around they give everyone, the same copy paste answer about how your blog was found to be violating community guidelines no matter how many times you ask for more information or to point out where you were violating community guidelines.

Anyways, sparing the details, it doesn’t seem like I’ll be getting @gothteddies back. I’ve this back up blog for a little while, and I have a ton of my old posts backed up here. Unfortunately, I hadn’t backed up posts for a few months when I got deleted, so my archive only goes back til about April. So if you see any posts timestamped from after then, please tag me in them (but check in the notes if someone else has or if I’ve reblogged it here already first). This blog will mostly be running reruns of my old posts for the next week or two to try and pump all that content back out into the world.

In the meantime, I’d like you guys to know that as of right now, I’m not planning to be as active as I was before on here. Losing @gothteddies is more than something I can just start over. I lost all my content, all the back ups I had of my mutual’s content I had saved in my tagging system for them to use when they got deleted, I lost all the work I put into for my blog theme, for my FAQ, my about page, my tag explanations page with all its links, my mutuals, my community, my content filters, my history of interactions with people, all that work is gone. Some of it will be easier to rebuild than other parts. But I don’t have a particular desire to try and rebuild all of that, putting so much work in when tumblr can just pull the rug out from under me when I’m not even flagged and not bothering to even tell me why.

My plan right now is to start this blog, get all my back up content out there first (block the tag #archive spam if you don’t want to see all that clogging your dash), then to use this blog pretty sparingly. I’ll keep posting my original posts, but I’m not going to be a hub for nsfw content anymore. Ill still be reblogging cute stuff when I see it, especially my favorite mutuals, but I don’t plan to scroll my dash and find everything I love and pump my queue constantly and worry about anything on here at all. Posts will be more sparse, and hopefully I will too.

Thanks to everyone that’s been here for the past two years @gothteddies, and even more thanks to the people who’ve been there for even longer on @bdsmteddy before that.

the tag system from my old blog will be undergoing some small changes to better differentiate between content moving forward, as well as moving away from some of the old naming conventions. as I continue to go through old posts and update their tags, I will continue to update the main tag masterlist (found here) as well as continue to release these tag update posts. the important system changes are listed below

Trigger warning tags will no longer have “tw” after them. To block kidnapping content, simply filter the kidnapping tag, not the kidnapping tw tag

Warning tags will now include more emotion based kinks and overall sexual tones of posts such as humiliation, manipulation, sadism, ignorance, etc.

The structure/tone of my original posts will now be tagged, differentiating from bad sex jokes, longform horny stories, creative horny concepts, etc.

More tags will feature round-about ways to specify their idea without being the normal sexual term, which tumblr might track and flag. Ex. anal is now backdoor things

I had the @gothteddies blog for almost 2 years! And I had @bdsmteddy even before that. There’s a lot of content lol. I had 900+ posts backed up into my drafts on here and uh…there’s still 600+ more to get posted 😅 plus I only have my posts from up to April of 2022, I’m still missing everything I posted from April-September so there’s even more. I’m glad you’re liking the spam though ! My style and kinks and maturity have all changed a little bit over time so reading some of these old posts I’m seriously internally cringing
