As Gus' memory fades, he bows to the retreating figure of the lead Siamese... but when he lifts his head, it's only Tugger in front of him. And Tugger is, if anything, even more confused about it than he is.
Lucius Wolter as Gus, Alex Snova as Tugger, Andrea Luca Cotti as Mungojerrie, and Jan-Eike Majert under the Siamese costume. Vienna revival, March 2022.
(Here's a clearer view on the transition to this moment from another night, with Felix Martin as Gus.)

It's okay, I didn't need my heart today anyway...
He bows to his memory; so long and so deep that by the time he rises again, the cat he sees in front of him is Tugger. But not the usual Tugger: this is a Tugger who has, for once, forgotten his swagger and regressed into a worried kitten.
Vienna revival, 7 May 2022, filmed by @thunderwhenhepurrs. Felix Martin as Gus, Alex Snova as Tugger, Denise Jastraunig as Jellylorum, Rhys Batten as Coricopat/lead Siamese, and Lucius Wolter as Deuteronomy.

... Gus sees something he likes?
(At this point in most productions Tugger tosses an imaginary mouse to Gus, who catches it and runs away with it. That doesn’t happen here—possibly the Korean translation doesn’t include the line about mouse-catching?—so Gus just salivates over Tugger’s hips instead. Much to Jellylorum’s disapproval.)
Jung Min as Tugger and Kang Yeong-jong as Gus, Korea 2011.
