Despite living relatively alone somewhere in the woods near Moonlight Falls, Elliot has always been a big fan of music. Friends and family have said they were meant to be on the stage... if they weren’t so shy about it. They’re hoping they can come over that, especially since there’s been a surge of artists that they’ve enjoyed from a new idol group that’s gaining traction to one of his favorite cover artists, Janet Hareton, getting more recognition by the day.

What does Elliot do in his spare time, besides pretending to perform in front of a sold out crowd? Spend a lot of time outside, of course. Naturally being a fairy lends itself to that, but they especially enjoy picking up new things on his walks. They’ve also dabbled a bit in alchemy, but nothing too far beyond a vial of bliss, however.

Seeing that the lovely Janet was having a BC to win over her heart, Elliot’s own heart skipped a bit. Perhaps they got a little too excited, but that’s just because they have some strong emotions. However, winning means getting to be with someone they’ve admired for so long (and of course, maybe, just maybe the two can become successful enough to meet their other favorite idols... one can dream, yeah?)

Honestly their whole schtick is “they are pretty, they love Janet, and they want to get famous, but they are very shy.” OH and their name came from a supernatural/fantasy name generator and I love it.

Inspiration for Elliot comes from Lady Gaga’s new album, Chromatica, and bits of the mobile game turned anime, IDOLiSH7. Neither of these are required material to know the character ofc!

Some time ago, Scarlett and her long time girlfriend broke up, but now she’s ready for love again. Through a BC, she’s hoping to find a person she can always rely on, someone who would join her in waking up early to watch the sunrise and who would keep her companion during exciting travels abroad. Maybe your sim is the one?

Tangerine BC Casting Call!

HI EVERYONE I EDITED THIS POST ON MOBILE AND LITERALLY ALL OF THE CONTENT GOT DELETED!! AND SINCE IT WAS UNDER A CUT I CAN ONLY GET BACK WHAT WAS VISIBLE IN A NORMAL REBLOG SO BARE WITH ME AS I FIX IT I HATE TUMBLR WITH ALL OF MY HEART. 

Ahem. Yes, you read that right! There’s going to be a Tangerine BC!

This BC will be held for the 100th Tangerine Baby!! At this point I have NO IDEA who that will be because I haven’t finished the challenge yet, but I think that makes this fun for all of us!! (I’m also pretty dang close so hopefully this won’t be too far off into the future!!)

The winner of this BC will be used alongside the mysterious 100th Baby to play at LEAST one gen of a wishacy-inspired save! I don’t know yet if I will continue that as a regular save, but it is a possibility.

Requirements

Your Sim must be a full berry AND have a berry name. (If you’ve seen any of the names I’ve used, you know this is a pretty broad category.) The 100th baby and any following generations will be taking your sims’s last name so PLEASE follow this rule. also for my #aesthetic 

Any gender and color is fine, but please have them be YA. Even though I don’t know who the 100th baby will be I’m deciding rn that they will be nonbinary and use he/they pronouns, so your sim’s orientation should include masc nonbinary people.

If possible, please try to use a LTW that isn’t crossed off on this list! Not a huge deal if you forget! (Mandrake has the super popular wish and Electra has a stylist-related one so maybe not one of those bc I’m playing them right now!)

Occults are welcome but not necessary.

Please avoid the Bad Traits. You know the ones. Also I’m so sick of the genius trait, so pls no.

If you’re using CC skin, use either Fawkes, scattergenes, or & Everything Nice ONLY. If you don’t, I WILL change your sim’s skin to as close as I can get it using one of those.

Please do not use CC makeup (except Chigasi blushes) and limit overall CC use. Hair is great, clothes are fine. NO sliders.

I have the following EPs only: Supernatural, University Life, Seasons, Ambitions, Pets, Island Paradise, and Generations.

Please set all of your sim’s outfits. They will definitely be using their everyday, formalwear, swimwear, and sleepwear. I really won’t feel like changing their ugly game-chosen outfits if you use clothes I don’t have or don't set all of their outfits. 

A bio is welcome but optional. I don’t know yet if there will be interview questions.

I’m pretty indifferent about whether your sim is a public or private download, but please use a .sim file if possible!

Deadline is August 1, which was also the deadline of Mandrake’s BC aww. Please let me know if you sign up and the deadline becomes an issue--I have NO idea when I’ll be playing this, so there may be some wiggle room.

Crystal Moonshine’s Bachelorette Challenge


-About Crystal-

Crystal would appreciate that everyone note she is not taking part in this competition willingly, rather as compliance with the wishes of her friends and family.


Crystal’s friends and family, however, would like to note that Crystal is being entered in this competition because she is straight up boring. Yes, you heard it, boring. Crystal Moonshine was born an only child of two musicians, and she unfortunately did not take to any of it. From childhood, Crystal has been a bit of a stick in the mud, to put it politely, and has found little to no enjoyment in what normal people would consider fun.


Her friends and loved ones see it differently, though. They find that Crystal has a spark within her that hasn’t quite been ignited, and are now taking steps themselves to help Crystal find the lucky guy that will, hopefully, spice things up a bit.


-Rules-

1. Private Download only please, until elimination. 2. Male contestants only. 3. Singular color berries only. Any color you’d like. 4. No sliders.


-The Challenge-

As this challenge will be the prelude to a LEPacy, I decided to do things a bit differently.

Each participant will sign up for the BC under an EP, and will base their contestant entirely on that EP. Clothes, backstory, the whole shebang. (Although, CC hair is still allowed.) Whoever emerges from this challenge victorious will start off the LEPacy with Crystal, who is meant to represent the base game, and other generations will follow suit. I have all EPs and have yet to do the proper exploration. The challenge will take place on a schedule, where every other sim day will hold a challenge. Days between challenges will be allotted for free time and socialization, where contestants will be allowed to socialize amongst themselves as well as with Crystal.

1. Again, no sliders. Please. 2. CC is okay, but try to keep it to a minimum. 3. I use berry pie, & everything nice, fawkes, scattergenes, etc. (berry pie is my fav thoughhhh) 4. At the tender age of 23, she’s FINALLY coming into her own, the result of escaping a years-long abusive relationship six months prior to applying for Froot BC. Since leaving, she’s been catching up on the teenhood her homophobic parents didn’t let her have and the young adulthood her ex didn’t let her have, and is a bit of a loose cannon, but she’s finally happy, for what might be the first time in ten years. Still, she misses the touch of another woman, and she sure as hell doesn’t like being alone - what better way to solve that than apply for a BC?

She’s scared of getting hurt again but is diving headfirst into things in the hopes that no one else can pick up on it. She’s also applying for fairly selfish reasons; she’s never been alone and she doesn’t know how to. It’s not a healthy thing, that’s for sure. (Oh, and she’s based off of Hayley Kiyoko’s Expectations. The original concept drifted quite a bit - sorry - but she is.)

As the bastard daughter of a king, little hope was associated with the future of Ethelreda FitzBug. Her mother, a simple laundress, was not well connected. Her parentage was undeniable when looking at the young lass, but her kingly father had little interest in her beyond keeping her at court so she wouldn't fall into ambitious hands. Her prospects were about as glum as could be, and it was assumed Ethelreda was destined to follow her mother into a life of court servitude.

All that changed with the arrival of Sir Thomas Tyrell. He was born the 7th son of a rather fertile lord from the south, and had had little prospects himself as a child. Yet he was found to have a true gift with a sword, and he discovered that same gift in the young Ethelreda when he spied her playing at being a soldier with a broom handle. Amazed by the young girl's talent, he offered to take her on as his squire. The king, eager to have the little bastard out of his hair, agreed.

Ethelreda, under Sir Tyrell's watchful eye, grew into a knight both brave and true. In her first tourney, she unseated men far older and more experienced than she and became the champion with seemingly effortless work. The new king (her half brother) was shocked by her talent and instantly offered her a high position among the court's knights. Ethelreda happily took up the position, and is now captain of the royal guard at the tender age of 26.

So why leave court and go after the hand of a lady fair? Well...Sir Tyrell...he isn't well in health. Won't last a year, so they say. Ethelreda offered to take on the role of his caretaker without a second thought, but he refused.

"You've dedicated enough of your life to the serving of fools who don't deserve you," He gently admonished. "I insist that your last service to me be to find somebody worthy of your service."

Ethelreda could not break such a promise to her Sir, no matter how she wished she could. With the aid of her half-brother, the king, she has come to hear of this contest for the Lady Fiesta's hand. Princess Fiesta! Queen Fiesta! So high above her, it makes Ethelreda nervous. But the King insists that it would be a good match. With his blessing, as well as that of Sir Tyrell's, Ethelreda has set off in search of her noble lady fair. Whether it'll end in calamity or in a love ballad-happy ending, only time can tell.

Annemarie knows what you’re thinking. How does she, a girl who looks like she walked out of an 80s movie as the “rebel” type, have such a sweet name like Annemarie? Simple. She’s rebelling against the expectations that her family has expected of her.

So what does Annemarie do for a living? She’s rather talented with instruments, particularly the guitar, and a rather impressive sculptor. Unfortunately, she hasn’t made it big yet, and just works at the local theater, trying to form a band. Her art is a side business, which is slowly starting to take off. Some also call Annemarie rather cheap, but because she doesn’t spend a lot during her daily life, she can throw some awesome parties.

Then, if Annemarie is so counterculture, why join up a BC, a prominent piece in mainstream culture? There’s something about Scarlett that seems more... real than other bachelorettes. Annemarie also admires Scarlett’s adventurous spirit, and traveling the world with her doesn’t sound so bad. She could get behind that, but first, she has to win over Scarlett’s heart.

If you ask someone about Lemon Fizz, the first thing they will most likely tell you is that he’s a friendly guy who always makes people feel welcomed. The second thing will be that he tends to stumble around a lot, but that’s because he’s just a bit clumsy.

What Lemon is really good at is his art. Most of it could be considered non-conventional, since he tends to make any space his canvas (within reason of course). However, he is also good at collecting things, since he has magic in his veins, and he needs high quality ingredients to make the best elixirs.

So why enter into a contest to win over the heart of the 100th Tangerine baby? Love, of course. Lemon also wants a family, and what better way than to get one than through the contest! Well, maybe a contest isn’t the best way of getting a partner, but it’s the way Lemon wants to pursue one.

If you were to ask someone about Nathanial Nightshade, the first thing they would say is that he is very friendly. That, and very lucky. See, growing up (and even now), he has been very rebellious. Tagging buildings, holding protests, Nathanial has done it all. While these qualities make life all the more interesting, Nathanial has had something missing in his life.

What is that missing link? A stable partner. His first one, his “high school sweetheart” was lovely, and he thought she was “the one”. Unfortunately, she left him on not-so good terms after their graduation for her best friend. Once in college, Nathanial found a guy he really fancied and proposed towards the end their time there... only to find out that he didn‘t want kids. That was a big deal breaker for Nathanial, given he wants a large family, and that he’s a very nurturing person once you get to know him. The kids he babysat as a teenager still fondly recall the fun times they had with Nathanial, and he’s even considered opening a daycare at some point.

This is why he’s entered the Moonshine BC, to hopefully find a partner-in-crime in Crystal. Will his luck prevail, or will he strike out again?

Island Paradise Male Maternity Set - 8,000 Posts Gift

Well, if I don’t reblog anything between when I’m writing this and when this post goes live, this is technically eight thousand and two. Regardless, this is a milestone worthy of celebration!

Oh, and this time I’m looking out for mobile users. Sorry indent text, while you were fancy, you’re broken on mobile (as in, any text using it becomes BIG for no reason). Bullet points this time!

What’s Required

The Island Paradise EP for the content to show up and work.

What’s Included

I added pregnancy morphs to all most of the outfits from Island Paradise! I didn’t touch the hidden scuba diving outfit, and THIS jacket. The morph on that one borked, and to be quite frank, I personally don’t use it, so sorry about that. Everything pictured above is included in the .zip! Click the images for higher quality! I think the format looks good for once, but Tumblr will have inevitably crunched the quality.

A note on the mermaid tail: I did allow the mermaid tail to be valid for maternity, but even with a bare top allowed for pregnancy, the sims didn’t show a baby bump. They will still get their tails in water, just no bump. There are images in the “Images” folder showing off this issue.

Outfits still have their usual categorizations. So if you would find it in everyday and outerwear, those have stayed the same.

Pop these files into your mods folder (in packages) and you’ll find them next to the original outfit. Sorry, as much as I want to make defaults, I’m not that apt yet, so these are non-defaults.

Merging is a-okay! It’s safe to merge these since they’re just clothes and not script mods.

NEW IN THIS DOWNLOAD: Pre-merged files! If you don’t want to merge yourself, you’ll find the options for you! TM and AM as separate files, or one big file with both TM and AM together! If you use these, you won’t need the separate files, or have to merge them yourself.

Wait. No nude mesh files?

If you’ve downloaded from me before, you know I’ve pushed the nude mesh files as an upgrade to Cmar’s. The nude top has bump recognition and shows up in the applicable categories such as sleep and swim. Since my Seasons set I haven’t included them. However, you can still find them in my sets before Seasons!

A Notice in Regards to the “Feel Tummy” Interaction with Child Sims

While playing a save several months ago, I had a child sim interact with her pregnant father. However, despite efforts at having the game recognize the bump, her hand went right through the bump. I have not tested any other combinations of my male maternity wear with child sims, but I can say that teens and up will not put their hands through the bump. My apologies. I’m not the best CC creator on the market, and I’m sharing items I made for personal use since I figured there’s never too much male maternity CC out there.

A picture of this issue is included in the “Images” folder in the .zip.

Ms. Poppy Bubblegum has been making a big splash in the music world recently. She’s released her first album and wrapped up a successful tour, securing her in a place for alternative pop. Sure, those gigs weren’t so big, but Poppy’s a natural on stage. For her next album, she’s going to change up her style of music and dress.

That next album is going to require a lot of costumes, so it’s a good thing she’s thrifty. Poppy hopes it will be perfect, neat, and tidy. She’s looking for this one to make a big splash and reach number one. Will she be able to make her first collaboration with a potential datemate? The events of Drama BC will tell.

Okay, I may be jumping the gun so-to-speak, but I’ve had this idea bouncing around my head for a Banilla sim based on Marina’s “Bubblegum Bitch” and Nicki’s “Barbie Tingz”. Now she’s finally here! With a name that’s a play on bubblegum pop. Plus I wanted to get this contestant out of the way before finals really hit and she gets pushed aside for the Baines Finale.

Simsmas Gift Part Two of Two: Male Maternity Sets

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Here’s the second part of the gift that has been months in the making. (No, seriously, I started this in November. It’s been a doozy.)

What’s Required

Late Night and Generations for the respective content from each pack.

What’s Included

I added pregnancy morphs to several outfits from Late Night and Generations for both adults and teens! The items for adults and teens are in separate folders, so you can take what you want.

The Late Night content is adults only. No age conversions here. Sorry about that!

Outfits still have their usual categorizations. Meaning, if you would find it in everyday and formal, you’ll see it there. HOWEVER, if you have Seasons, if the item was also designated as outerwear, you’ll see it there too.

Rather than list off all the items, I have included pictures of what items are in the .zip. Find them in the “Images” folder!

Pop these files into your mods folder (in packages) and you’ll find them next to the original outfit. Sorry, as much as I wanted to make defaults, I’m not that apt yet, so these are non-defaults.

INSTALL THE NUDE MESH FILES!

You’ll find them for both AM and TM in the “Nude_Meshes” folder, and they are required for not only as a topless option, but for the “naked” status as well. You can see why they’re important in the pictures included in the .zip file.

If you downloaded them from my other set - you don’t have to install them again. They’re included in this download for those who didn’t get that part yet, in case they come across this first. If you’re using Cmar’s nude meshes from her downloads, consider upgrading! The “nude” top has bump recognition, so your sims hands won’t be eaten by it. Plus, unlike hers or others out there, it will work as a top for your sims: whether you plan for it or change their top once they realize their pregnant.

TOU

None! I just slapped a preg morph onto EA outfits, so there’s no need for a TOU.

Crediting and linking back here would be appreciated! I spent a good chunk of time on these, so it would be nice to get some recognition.

Questions you might find yourself asking: What packs are next? Why wasn’t Ambitions included as a part of the holiday gifts? Why did you only do a select few tops/outfits from XX pack?

Pets and Showtime are next, since I’m moving up the chronology of the packs. Stuff packs may happen, but aren’t a top priority since not a lot of people have SPs, and the fact I think you’d get more mileage out of the EP content.

As for the Ambitions clothing... I didn’t see use for it? I don’t really use it myself, and not a lot came with it. As for the clothes I skipped: I wanted to go for “realistic” maternity, as in, what would make sense for someone who was pregnant to wear. Much like those “pregnant superheroes” you see, I don’t get “pregnant inventor.” If you really want that, or another particular item I skipped from BG or WA, I suppose I could make it if you ask nicely.
