Moonstone is a beautiful gemstone that has been prized for its mystical and healing properties for centuries. Here are some potential benefits associated with moonstone:
Emotional healing: Moonstone is believed to have a calming effect on the emotions and can help to balance the emotional body. It is said to promote emotional healing by bringing repressed emotions to the surface and releasing them.
Hormonal balance: Moonstone is often associated with the moon and is said to have a powerful effect on the female reproductive cycle. It is believed to help regulate the menstrual cycle and reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
Enhances intuition and psychic abilities: Moonstone is said to enhance intuition and psychic abilities, helping to connect with higher consciousness and inner wisdom.
Improves sleep: Moonstone is believed to have a calming effect on the mind and body, which can help to promote better sleep and reduce insomnia.
Promotes fertility and childbirth: Moonstone is associated with the goddess of fertility and is said to promote fertility and ease childbirth.
Balances yin and yang energies: Moonstone is believed to balance the yin and yang energies in the body, helping to promote overall health and well-being.
It's important to note that while there are many potential benefits associated with moonstone, these claims are not scientifically proven and should not be used as a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

Empty.
The shelves of his belongings, sparse as they may be; the maps that hung tacked to the wall; the knife taped beneath the table; the life of his laughter drained from the walls.
And the guitar.
Of course the guitar was gone.
“I'm sorry,” his note read. “I had to go. I had to know if it was possible for us to have a safer, happier life outside of here. I’ll be back for you, I love you.”
Nothing else, just gone in the night leaving nothing else but a note and a broken heart.
It always ends bloody—day after day, year after year.
But this didn’t end at all, it just never came back.
It left two things in its wake—you and a brother.
A brother who couldn’t look you in the eye after reading the tear stained note that mentioned him nowhere in it.
It didn’t say he’d come back for Joel.
It didn’t say he wanted better for Joel and it fed into Joel’s belief that he was no longer good enough for good things or good intentions.
Somewhere along the line, you picked up on that feeling for yourself. It was easier to tell yourself that Tommy had forgotten about you and the promise he made in his letter. It was easier to assume that he no longer loved you because the only alternative was that he was no longer living.
Not Joel, though.
That callus nature ticked off Tommy’s life like a box in his goddamn head. Compartmentalized it away as one less person that made him vulnerable—weak. It was the illusion of strength that drove you to him; to showing up at his apartment with some poorly constructed moonshine and an ache you hadn’t felt satisfied since the night before everything changed.
You told him how Tommy had fucked you like you were the only thing in the world that mattered, knowing it was the last time, and that motherfucker didn’t even have the balls to say goodbye.
“I never meant fuck all to him, did I?” You had asked.
Shattered glass wasn’t the response you were looking for but it’s certainly the one you got, expletives crawling out of his mouth as he knelt down to pick up the shards.
Only that and the silence that followed as he disposed of the crystalized remnants and paced the small room.
“My brother loved you,” he finally said. “You were the best goddamn thing my brother had going for him—he said you were the best thing he had ever done. His love for you is how I know he’s fucking dead, sweetheart, so you need to stop sitting here convincing yourself that what you had was fake—some fucked up way to protect yourself—and start grieving like the goddamn widow you are.”
That grief stood to meet his and both of you fell into bed shortly after.
It made sense, he’d promised you. You weren’t doing anything wrong.
You got the next best thing to Tommy Miller.
He got to protect the most important thing to Tommy Miller.
It’s what he would’ve wanted.
But now he looks like he’s going to throw up.
The sex got more frequent, the small laughter and the stolen touches.
For a while, you’d kept separate dwellings—him sleeping alone, you sleeping with a ghost.
Then the apartment was ransacked one day while you were out, you came home to Firefly spray paint on the doors and half the floor boards torn up.
Joel barely let you out of his fucking sight after that.
He also fucked you blind most nights, giving over small glimpses of the man he used to be—the man he still wishes he was.
There’s half a glimpse of that now followed by fear followed by a set jaw and a mask he wears when it’s not just you beside him.
“Are you sure?” He asks, hands worrying into the edge of a book over and over again.
You shrug, “who can really be sure of anything these days? Especially this early on but… I don’t know.” Looking down at your nails, you start to pick at the bloodied skin already ravaged by your anxieties. “I’m fairly certain though,” you tell him. “Don’t feel obligated to anything.”
“Shut up,” he snaps. He is harsh when he wants to be but he’s never been so with you. “Don’t sit there and tell me you’ve got my baby inside of you and then tell me not to feel obligated. You are the only person I feel that for anymore.”
The chair kicks back and falls behind him when he stands, clattering down in a way that shakes you. You’re used to the loudness of his voice, the attack dog style way he turns on anybody who looks at you sideways.
"I'm sorry,” he says after a few beats from the other side of the room. He’s staring down the window but you’re not sure his eyes are anywhere, really. Not sure he’s here either.
You know where he goes on the nights he doesn’t exhaust himself enough between your legs after a long day. Hell, he goes there even then. Because no amount of sex or drugs or alcohol is going to scrub that memory out.
Tommy told you about that night; the subsequent nights and the years that followed where Joel turned into somebody completely different. Joel, who used to be goofy and happy, even if he was stressed.
But he’s not that man anymore and, even if you catch the glimpses of him in fleeting moments, he never will be again.
“I'm sorry,” you tell him. Because it’s all you can say. You’d been as careful as you could. You’d drank the tea. You did the best you could.
He doesn’t turn until you stand, following the noise of your body with his good ear to bore his brown gaze into you. “Where are you going?”
You shrug, “I think you need some time and uh”—you rub at your eye—“I heard a rumor a while ago about somebody who can help take care of it so—“
“So just like that”—he snaps his fingers for emphasis—“you’re gonna take it all away? Never happened, huh?”
“You don’t want this,” you tell him. You say it plainly like a fact because it is.
His features twist up, eyes squinting as he pulls back like you've slapped him. “It's not that I don’t want this,” he says, accent coming out thick. “It's that I don’t want this for you”—he starts counting on his fingers, taking steps toward the fallen chair and the door you stand at now—“I don’t want this life for you; I don’t want this life for that baby; I don’t want me for that baby, sweetheart. Don’t you understand? That should be my brother’s, you should be my brother’s—“
“Yeah, well he fucking left me, Joel!” The way you heighten your voice shoots pain right up into your head, the headache you’ve been nursing from nerves all day growing worse as your fists clench and unclench. “He fucking left you, he left us! This should be his baby, but it’s not, Joel. It doesn’t have to be yours either.”
“Sweetheart,” his voice is so soft now. Another glimpse. He walks towards you slowly, hands out as if trying to pacify a wild animal. “Can we talk about this before you just go off and—“
But you’re already halfway out the door before he can finish the thought, letting it slam shut behind you on the man you never should’ve told.
——————
It’s always bloody—this life we’re forced to live now.
Starts in blood, ends in blood.
In the moment you hemorrhaged from childbirth, all you could think of was Tommy and how you hoped his end was the fast kind of blood and not the kind you were experiencing.
It was the first time you saw Joel cry, stood back and shaking with clenched fists. In the end, it was how stern his voice got that brought you back from the blackened edges of your vision.
That’s how he spoke to you, to the baby. Soft voices, yes. But stern, too. Like every statement was a warning shot not to leave him like the rest.
Life in the QZ wasn’t exactly a good one but it was enough; safe enough. Joel took the risks he needed to, to get you and the baby what you needed.
That was her name for the longest time, just Baby.
Baby, who fit in the palm of her father’s hand.
Baby, who made him laugh like he hadn’t in years.
Baby, who made his smile reach his eyes again.
Baby, who was told stories of how much like her big sister Sarah she already was with all her sass and all her charisma.
He was obsessed with her tiny hands, her little toes and the way she cooed up at him with big, dark eyes.
He was obsessed with her little face, the curve of her lips and the way she latched on to feed.
“You're gonna hate me for saying this,” he started when he walked in the room one day, her tiny body nestled in the crook of his arm like a football. “But I think she kind of looks like Tommy.”
You did hate him for that but he wasn’t wrong. It was some sick cosmic joke; the baby that should be his; the baby made out of grief for him.
Three weeks later, her papers were officially filed with FEDRA under the name Thomasin Miller; never imagining that, one year later, you’d be walking down the street to see her namesake stepping out of your old building like a bad dream.
Or the best dream.
If that’s where he went first, finding that the entire thing is cleared out, then he’d be going to Joel’s next.
Unless he stuck with not ever wanting to see his brother’s goddamn face again.
You split left before he saw you, turned the corner and took the other way to Joel’s; to Thomi—home.
Fighting with your keys to get into the lock, the door pulled open and your muttering stopped as Joel stood easily at six feet with baby girl tucked up on his chest fast asleep. From the looks of it, he was too.
He barely came around to the pregnancy, trying hard to school his emotions through every milestone afraid that it was going to drop just like everything else. He carried that fear through the birth, told you that he was so afraid you were going, too. So afraid that you were leaving him with a baby to fend for so he could start this sick cycle of his life over again.
Except this time he wouldn’t even have Tommy and he knew the only outcome of that was him leaving the baby or her leaving him.
He said he wouldn’t have survived.
That’s the only way you know Joel Miller loved you—his version of it anyway.
Obligated.
“What's wrong?” He asks, worry covering every part of his face as his large hand covers yours. “What happened?”
“Tommy.” It’s all you can choke out.
He goes to hand you the baby, says she’s right here. Says she’s okay and asks again what happened. Asks if there was a baby on the trucks today.
“No,” you shake your head. “No, Joel, Tommy’s here.”
He tells you you’re crazy, that it can’t be. Says the heat of the day and the smell of the infected dead must’ve gotten to you. That wasn’t even your job today; he stopped letting it be your job a long ass time ago. He didn’t want you seeing Thomi in every snuffed out life the way he saw Sarah.
“Listen to me, Joel!” Your yelling wakes the baby but only half a cry comes out before she realizes she’s in her daddy’s arms. “Tommy was coming out of our old building, he is here and I wasn’t there and you know where he’s gonna go next.”
After two hours with no knock on the door, Joel starts to examine you; your eyes; your head; your neck. Any sign of trauma at all that can explain away the ghosts you saw in plain sight.
And then it comes. Just a couple of knocks at the door. Joel’s eyes rake down your face as all the color drains from it and crosses to the front door. “Who is it?”
“It's me,” a muffled voice on the other side comes through. “I-it’s Tommy.”
Joel opens the door enough to fit his broad body into it, one arm raised to lean against the deteriorating wood jamb. “Thought you were dead.”
“Why would you—“
“Maybe because you fucked off with a promise to come back and didn’t.”
“I—“ He stutters looking for the words. “I sent letters.”
From here, you can see Joel’s eyes squint and his face twist in near disgust. “We don’t exactly have a goddamn postal service, shitbird.”
“Yeah, I fucking know that,” Tommy quips back and you can imagine just the face he’s making too. “I fucking radio’d, every fucking week, and I got nothing back. I just want to know she’s okay.”
You watch from the hallway, one arm hugged around your body for warmth. It’s not even cold.
“She’s—" He takes a deep breath. “I don’t know how to fucking answer that. I hope she’s fine now but I’m worried that knowing you're around might slide that progress back.”
“Progress?”
“Yeah, Tommy, she fucking grieved for you for a long ass time. That was after she waited for you until I told her to accept that you weren’t coming back.”
“But I radio’d…”
“We didn’t get a goddamn radio from you, Tommy!”
Thomasin screams at the sound of her father’s raised voice, howling out every thing she’s got in her tiny lungs as you move to pick her up.
Tommy’s asking what the fuck that is and you can see Joel’s fists clenching, tightening the grip he has on the door. He looks back at you, back at his daughter and his face betrays the parts of his heart that are breaking as Tommy asks whose goddamn baby is crying in his apartment.
“Mine,” Joel responds.
Then he shuts down, jaw setting and unsetting as Tommy asks question after question.
Where’d you get a baby?
What’s going on?
Why can’t I find her?
You know where she is, tell me where she is.
Joel can’t answer any of them, can’t make eye contact with his brother anymore but he doesn’t move from the door. He wants to, you can tell. He wants to shut it, go back to this morning when you and he and the baby were all still sound asleep in the early light of day.
“Can I just come in, Joel?” He finally asks. “Can we just talk about this? You can tell me where she is, I’ll set it right with her, I meant to come back for her a lot sooner.”
“Yeah,” Joel breathes out, “you really fucked up on that one.”
He looks to you then, a silent question in his eyes.
Are you ready for this?
No. You aren’t. Three hours ago, you didn’t know this man was still breathing and the only solace you could hope for was that he was truly dead and not some fucking monster with a mushroom growing out of his gorgeous head.
Sitting, finally, with Thomasin in your aching arms to cover your aching heart, you nod and Joel lets the door open wider until Tommy's eyes are on you; your daughter.
“I'm sorry, Tommy,” Joel says. “I’m really fucking sorry.”

König, walking up to Bee’s house with like three jugs of Moonshine: What the fuck is this and why did I buy it off that nun?
König sets a jug of water in front of you. As if you're going to know what to do with it. You look up at him, he looks down at you. You look at the jug.
"What is it?" You ask, not sure he's going to come out and tell you if you don't.
"Moonshine," König replies. You frown, and pop the lever at the top. You sniff it and nearly gag, your eyes watering a little. König's eyes widen a little, like he hadn't been expecting that reaction and picks up the jug to inspect himself. You grab a shot glass from the cabinet and a coke from the fridge just in time to see König sniff the bottle and jerk it away from himself almost immediately.
You laugh and set the shot glass on the table, trading König the coke for the moonshine. He twists the cap off with ease as you pour yourself a shot.
"Where'd you get this? I didn't think there was a liquor store nearby." You settle the jug on your kitchen table, and eye the shot.
"A nun." You glance at König, sure you heard him wrong.
"A nun." You clarify. He nods.
"Ja, a nun," He gestures around his head, imitating a nun's habit. You... have honestly heard worse. Alright nuns with booze, you can get on board with that. You think you've heard of nuns growing weed, this seems tamer.
You grip the shot glass between two fingers and tap it on the table before tossing it back. God Damn it burns like nothing you've ever drank before. Save maybe the everclear you had in college. It's just a step better than drinking straight paint thinner. You cover your mouth to cough, setting down the shot glass and reaching to take your coke from König. He seems concerned, brows drawn together as you swallow down nearly the whole soda.
You finally set your chaser back on the table, and pour König a shot in the same glass. Whatever the alcohol content of this crystal devil is you don't know, but you can feel it making your head warm already. You push the shot towards König, his fingers positively dwarf the glass. You look away as he pulls his bandana down, you figure that's polite.
"How much did the nun charge you?" You ask, hearing the glass clink against the table, König's quiet swallow.
"Probably too much," He says without a hint of tremor in his voice, you ignore how that makes the heat in your head move south, "She was a very pushy nun."

Crystals It Works Well With: Aquamarine, garnet, pearl
How It is Created: Moonstone is a type of feldspar composed of potassium aluminum silicate. It can be found in a number of colors, but all examples demonstrate a particular sheen known as labradorescence; an effect also found in labradorite and blue moonstone. Labradorescence is a light effect caused by parallel hairlike structures laid down within the crystal matrix, which reflect light back and forth, creating different-colored effects, including blue, yellow, silvery gray, and white.
History: Moonstone is the sacred stone of India. During the earliest traditions, the gem was said to have been embedded in the forehead of Ganesh, the four-handed god of the moon, since the beginning of time. It was written in Hindu mythology that moonstone is made from moonbeams, thus its luster.
The magnificent gem is never displayed outside for sale unless placed on a yellow cloth, as yellow is a sacred color. According to other legends, Moonstone can give gifts of prophecy and clairvoyance to the wearer. It could also clear the mind for the wearer to welcome wisdom. But to unlock this ability, Moonstone must be placed in their mouths during the full moon. Since ancient Egypt it is considered as a spiritual stone as it is seen as the gem of protection for night travelers.
Since Moonstone looks a lot like the moonshine, ancient Romans believed that it was formed from moonlight. If you look at the gem closely, you’ll see a dance of light that lurks on the insides of the gem. Ancient Greeks merged the names of the goddess of love (Aphrodite) and the goddess of the moon (Selene) and christened Moonstone as “Aphroselene”. While the Romans believed that the gem exhibits the image of their moon goddess, Diana.
It is also known as an aphrodisiac and when worn by two people, they will fall passionately in love when the moon is high. Moonstone was once called the “Travelers Stone” as it is said to protect those who travel at night, especially at sea.
What It Can Do:
When worn, can attract true love and arouse passion
If you give your lover a moonstone during the full moon, there will be passion between you always
Can settle disagreements and return things to peaceful status
Sewn into garments can enhance fertility
Wearing moonstone protects sensitive emotions
Enhances divination, prophetic dreams and prevents nightmares
Great for meditation and scrying
Represents yin and attracts peaceful energy
Protects travelers at night and by sea
Considered good luck
Balances male-female energies and aids men who want to get in touch with their feminine side
Affects the female reproductive cycle and alleviates menstrual-related diseases and tensions
Helps with digestive and reproductive systems, assimilates nutrients, eliminates toxins and fluid retention, and alleviates degenerative conditions of the skin, hair, eyes and fleshy organs such as the liver and pancreas.
How to Get the Best Out Of: Wear as a ring or place on the appropriate body part, would recommend the forehead, for spiritual experiences, and solar plexus or heart for emotions. Women may need to remove Moonstone at full moon.
How to Cleanse and Charge: Moonstone is relatively soft stone, 6 on the Mohs scale, so it should be handled with care as it can be easily scratched or crushed. Moonstone should be stored separate from other jewelry in its own soft bag or lined box and should not be worn while performing strenuous tasks that could result in it getting bumped or scratched. It can be cleaned with plain water and a soft cloth. If it gets scratched, take it to a jeweler to have it polished out.
Charge your moonstone in the light of the waxing moon and keep it out of direct sunlight.
Crystal Grid: N/A Couldn't find one that wasn't too complex @_@

can i call you rose?
⤷ peacekeeper!coriolanus snow x district!reader: coriolanus and you celebrate your anniversary, slow dancing as you reminisce about the time you met.
Tumblr media
The Covey sang softly, a sweet ballad that Coriolanus had written for your anniversary with Coriolanus. It had been a year since you’d met here in the hub, and every moment since then had felt like a dream.
You met Coryo on a drunken night and remember dancing wildly and letting loose on a hot Saturday night. Not a care in a world, as the music moved you. Amid your festivities, a body crashed into you, causing moonshine to spill on your shirt and the stranger who stood before you. Despite the mishap, his eyes captivated you like a bright pool of water, drawing you in. It was the first thing that caught your attention, even before you noticed his distinct accent, unlike any you had heard from District 12.
"Watch your step, pretty lady," he said with a charming smile, his voice conveying mystery and allure. Coriolanus didn’t have the twang in his voice that the locals had. Your palms began to sweat at the realization that you had spilled your drink on a Peacekeeper. But Coriolanus kept his hands steady on your waist with his alluring smile.
“Shit! I didn’t mean to-. I’m so sorry, sir,” you stuttered.
Coriolanus had been nothing but a gentleman and laughed softly at how quickly you transformed into such a timid thing.
He ignored your apology and replied, “May I have this dance?”
Coriolanus pulled you out of your trance when he peppered small kisses along your jawline down to your neck as he swayed with you along with the melody.
“Coryo-“
“Shhh, listen to the lyrics. I wrote them special for you.” Coryo held you close to him, and you could feel his steady heartbeat against your chest. Remaining in the moment, you focused on the words that The Covey sang.
“Can I call you Rose?
Cause you're sweet like a flower in blue
Can I call you Rose?
Cause your fragrance takes over the room
Darling, I wanna plant you in my heart, oh
So love can grow
Can I call you Rose?
Cause your thorns won't let blood in too soon
Can I call you Rose?
Cause your roots have the power to consume me.”
Tears welled in your eyes as the euphemism within the song hit its poignant note. Speechless, you watched as Coriolanus gingerly pulled away, his piercing crystal blue eyes locking with yours—two souls connected in a wordless exchange, foreheads pressed in a tender moment of silent understanding.
“I love you,” he whispered. Coriolanus slid down onto one knee and took out the silver compact with an engraved rose on it. Revealing the prettiest ring that you had ever seen.
“Will you marry me?”

Appalachian Witchcraft for Beginners: Review
Tumblr media
This is: Appalachian Witchcraft for Beginners: The History, Remedies, and Spells of a Rich Folk Magic Tradition by Auburn Lily
Rating: 2/10
Pros: Some information presented is correct, like the information on “ingredients” isn’t too bad if not a super small amount of them, she mentioned red clay which a lot of books seem to forget exists. And this book’s aesthetics? 10/10 for the illustration work, colors, fonts! I also appreciated the insistence that you help the land as much as possible, as well as the land’s original inhabitants and to give Indigenous voices space.
Cons: There is so much I was so disappointed by. First off let’s get this out of the way: The author in her bio on her own website auburnlily.com claims she is a starseed. I have a LOT of personal feelings about the Starseed movement and how it damages the progress of mental health and getting help and medication for said mental disorders. But this should have been the first major red flag that this book would not be what it says on the cover.
A lot of my problems are as follows:
Most folk workers don’t use the same three or four ingredients…in this case:
Peppermint. Rose. Essential Oils. Crystals, usually citrine or black tourmaline.
Actually we tend to not use crystals at all unless we’ve adapted them into our practice ourselves…the old folk didn’t have pretty rocks to use they got at the New Age store in the town square, alright?
A LOT of this information is definitely tinged in a new age and modern light. The correspondences for the days of the week mentions “The Goddess” which we don’t…deal with??? At all??
Another example:
Grannies used to use the bible and ‘faith healing’ to avoid persecution from their community.
Absolutely not! She mentioned the witch trials a minimum of 6 times, which (ahaha good pun) almost made me roll my eyes into the back of my head, then I read the bible to avoid persecution part and almost burned the book on the spot.
Faith healing is NOT a cop out.
It was the way things WERE. Were there hexers? Yes. Were they given a wide berth sometimes? Also yes. But they also had their place in the community! The hexer in my family, Flossie, was respected with some fear, but she was also the person who scorned lovers and cheated on spouses went to. When the police were hounding moonshiners a few came to her for cop go away works.
The author also insinuates that Yarb Doctors were held in higher regard because they didn’t use faith/and or gender may have had a point in that. I dunno what yarb doctors and grannies she talked to but men were not allowed in the birthing room, that was a Granny’s responsibility and by god they did it well. You never backtalked a Granny, they were and are the backbones of their communities.
Now that I’m off that soapbox, the author also seems to believe that meditation, third eyes, astrology in a modern way, and crystals are critical for Appalachian witchcraft which is stupidly incorrect. Her recipe for floor wash is hogwash and far too simple and small, her candle color correspondences are laughable…especially that little line on Orange: “Helps with menstrual cramps.” If that was the case no straight woman in Tennessee would get cramps because they all wear orange at least once a week for their team.
She only uses Hoodoo like…3 times which is better than most authors so I supposed that’s progress? But the author also hates baneful work and makes mention of that fact numerous times.
The author also has quite a few love spells mentioned, and weirdly enough…a lot of her ingredients in OTHER spells are also the same ingredients in her love spells. How strange.
My final and most damning gripe, the author seems to believe that stereotypes make for amazing offerings to the ancestors. In particular…the Irish would appreciate offerings of potatoes. You have to be kidding me.
Overall: Yet another new age witch trying to make folk magic look far more complicated and fluffy than it is. I hated this so much. I didn't even touch the "Open the healing channel" and "Reparative Visualization" "SPELLS" she includes which sounds like absolute woowoo.
Proof of some of these claims are below:

Monday's Mineral: Feldspar Gemstones
Ah, gemstones, one of the banes of my existence as geologist. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate their beauty but all the silly trade names that gemologists come up with for varieties of the same mineral drive me up the wall.
Tumblr media
Anyway, feldspars can be gemstone quality if they are not broken down by natural processes first. There's only a couple that really matter: kspar, albite, and labradorite.
Moonstone is probably the most "valuable" of these gems. It is sometimes known as adularia due to it's adularescence (moonshine effect). This is caused by the orientation of albite crystals within orthoclase. It is usually colorless or white.
Tumblr media
Sunstone resembles moonstone but has a golden color and a warm, shiny, golden adularescence. This is an albite gemstone, as is aventurine. Aventurine has a characteristic appearance of aventurescence, or a sparkly, metallic look.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Labradorite is a mixed plagioclase feldspar that exhibits labradorescence, reflected light caused by characteristic polysynthetic twinning of the mineral.
Tumblr media
Finally, there is Amazonite, a microcline gemstone that usually green or light blue-green in color. It often exhibits perthite texture seen as white lines. Perthite texture occurs with exsolution or unmixing.

Once upon a time, Tsu’tey would have thought that there must have been something wrong with him as he immediately swung away from JakeSully’s incessant yammering to look towards where you were approaching with Neytiri, giggling together with bright smiles on both of your face. You were wearing ceremonial garb for the celebration following Jake and Neytiri’s wedding that left little to the imagination and had his ears flicking up and his tail curling in interest. And who would have ever guessed he would fall head over tail for a vrrtep?
Your strange, bare feet with one too many blue toes on each foot had had the nails painted a pretty, shimmery lilac color, setting off your skin nicely. While your loincloth was simple and light purple, the swath of fabric covered a little bit more of your front than was standard, leaving your striped thighs just barely peeking out from behind. The band wrapping horizontally around your curvy hips, however, was beaded heavily with light blue and purple crystals and bigger golden colored beads. It matched your chest covering perfectly. The thick purple band that rested over your collarbones was adorned with a couple of large shiny stones. Stemming from the cloth, dozens of strands of the same smaller crystals and beads which, technically, covered everything but he could see your periwinkle nipples faintly underneath.
“You’re droolin’,” Jake’s voice brought Tsu’tey back into focus and he hissed at the other male.
“Are you two fighting again?” You asked with a grin as you and Neytiri approached the two of them. “And here I though you two were finally besties.” What Tsu’tey hadn’t seen was you held two skins of either Unilpay or Unyor’näk in your hands. Seeing him look at them, you offered him one, adding, “I think this one’s the kind you like.” He smirked and took a tentative sip, nodding as his tongue distinguished the flavor of his preferred alcoholic beverage upon his tongue. “I did good then?” Tsu’tey grinned and wrapped his tail around yours, his only sign of PDA, lifting the leather bag to his lips.
Meanwhile, Jake was enfolded around Neytiri from behind, kissing at her cheek and her neck, whispering things into her ear that caused her to blush and swat at him. You scoffed and rolled your eyes at them, sharing your annoyed amusement with Tsu’tey.
Taking a seat on a log around one of the fires, Jake and Neytiri joined you both on a different log though they remained wrapped around each other while you and Tsu’tey sat side by side, tails still entwined. Apparently, that didn’t stop Tsäutsim Te Tengew Tremas’itan from approaching, his golden eyes solely rested upon you with an inviting grin upon his lip.
“Oel ngati tse’a,” Tsäutsim greeted you before nodding towards the newly wedded couple and to Tsu’tey. “Dancing has begun. Would you care to – with me?”
You and the three other seated adults all paused, looking at the bold display of the standing male. Feeling Tsu’tey tense beside you, you tell Tsäutsim, “I apologize but I must decline as I don’t feel like dancing at this time.” You tighten your tail around Tsu’tey’s, hoping it will soothe his ruffled feathers. The inviting grin wiped off the other male’s face and formed into a pout. “I believe Saeyla was looking for a dancing partner?” Tsäutsim nodded sharply, and backed away, his golden gaze flicking between you and Tsu’tey before he went in search of the other female, rather reluctantly.
Unfortunately, a few other males came up to ask you to dance as the night progressed and Tsu’tey’s irritation began to rise further and further. “Maybe you should ask me to dance, hmm?” You suggested, taking a sip from the skin of your Unyor’näk.
The male in question grumbled and stood, offering you his hand. However, he did not take you to the dancefloor. Instead, Tsu’tey led you away from the celebration and led you away to the hot springs below HomeTree. There were multiple steaming pools beneath their home, each one enclosed with thick layers of vegetation, though there were gaps in the hanging vines and fronds that allowed you to peek into each hot spring. Tsu’tey took you to one such empty pool, pushing the flora away and bringing you inside. You looked up as Tsu’tey backed you up against one of the large roots that made up a portion of the wall surrounding the hot spring, a smirk adorning your face as you watched him leaning over you, your tail curling up in a very telling way. He lifted his chin and scented the air, smirk coming to replace his normal scowl as he smelled your arousal. “Oel ngati kameie, yawntu,” you whispered, tilting your chin upwards, your silent beg for a kiss.
Deciding to be generous, Tsu’tey replied, “Oel ngati kameie,” before he lowered his face and brushed his lips against your own. You hummed and pressed up against him. “Greedy vrrtep,” he teased against your mouth.
You just smirked, replying, “It’s your fault. You make me insatiable.”
Tsu’tey puffed up slightly at that, bowing his head and biting lightly at your shoulder in the way he knew you liked. You whimpered and reached beneath your hair and neural queue to untie your chest covering, tossing it to the side and freeing your breasts to press against his chest. “Yawntu,” you whispered, “I need you, now.” Tsu’tey chuckled, kissing you again, running one of his hands over your back and the other cupping one of your breasts, kneading the soft flesh and plucking at your nipple. You whined, arching your back into his touch needily. A brief movement beyond the curtain of flora at the entrance of the steaming pool and Tsu’tey looked up and noticed a pair of golden eyes watching you and him. Tsu’tey smirked, biting teasingly at your neck, causing you to hum in pleasure. “Don’t tease,” you murmured.
“I would never dream of it my greedy, little vrrtep,” Tsu’tey told you, reaching for the ties of your tewng and undoing them, sliding the cloth from your lower body and catching the eyes of their audience once more. He smirked, watching the face come a bit closer so he would actually see their voyeur was in fact Tsäutsim. His vindictive glee rose high because you chose him.
Removing his own tewng, your lover turned you around so your back was to his front and kissed along your neck and shoulder, drawing your hair and neural queue over the opposite shoulder. Spreading your legs for him, you gasped as he lined himself up and sunk inside your warm, dripping entrance, pushing his hips forward, slipping into you inch by fucking inch. “Oh…” you couldn’t help but moan as you stretched to accommodate him, feeling every vein and curve of his cock as he bottomed out inside of your cunt.
“You have me now, my greedy, little vrrtep,” Tsu’tey hissed into your ear, eyes flicking up to see Tsäutsim’s gaze rivetted to you. “Shall I fuck you now?”
He didn’t actually wait for your reply as he steadied your hips against him, before pulling almost all of the way out, his cock dragging heavily against your gummy walls. You whined, greedily, trying to shift back against him, hearing him chuckle meanly as he prevented your from doing so. Instead, he slammed back into you, setting a relentless pace and rutting into like he was going into heat. Your ass bounced against his thighs with each thrust and your breath caught in your throat, your fingers of your one hand clinging to the back of Tsu’tey’s neck as he drove himself up into you. Arching your back, your cunt clenched around his cock bullying its way into your depths tightly, pleasured mewls escaping your throat.
Tsu’tey continued to drive himself deep into you, one hand lifting from your throat and moving to hold onto your throat gently as he rutted up into you from behind. His gaze flicked up to see Tsäutsim still watching, eyes darkened with lust as he took in your pleasure, the pleasure you could only find with Tsu’tey. As if you were purposefully adding insult to injury to the audience you still didn’t know you had, you suddenly pleaded, “Tsaheylu, Tsu’tey, please… Wanna feel you.” Keeping Tsäutsim’s gaze, your mate connected his neural queue with yours, holding you tighter as your pleasure and his reverberated through the bond, heightening what you both already felt.
It also meant you now knew Tsäutsim was watching.
Tsu’tey felt your startlement and nudged the emotions and thought process that he felt and experienced that led to his decision to put on a show for the other male. He could feel you mulling it over and while there was a part of you that was not happy with his decision, there was another piece of you that found his display of possessiveness quite arousing. He smirked and fucked you harder, feeling your internal coil tightening further as your cunt clamped down upon his cock.
“Don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop,” you chanted, grinding down upon him, the fingers of your left hand digging into the small of his back and your right-hand clinging to his wrist. He shifted his angle just slightly and felt you the second you climaxed, coming with a scream of his name, “Tsu’tey!”
Your spasming walls and the pleasure you poured through the bond forced his own end and he spilled deep inside of you, your walls milking him for all he was worth.
Tsäutsim was no longer watching.
But that was okay. Tsu’tey’s point had been made. You belonged to him, with him. You were his mate, had chosen him long before he had realized he had chosen you too, and there was no breaking that. The two of you were with each other until the end of all things. His friend, his lover, his greedy, little vrrtep, his yawntu, his mate.

(Had some moonshine so I thought I’d post a short, angsty deleted scene from the last chapter of Somebody Loves You For Yourself. Maybe mildly nsfw but not too bad.)
Ballister was still holding the flowers when he got back to his rooms.
“Your highness?” A maid walked in with a crystal vase full of water.
“Ah, yes. Thank you, Ella,” he said politely. “By the window, please.”
She did as he said and gave him a smile and a bow.
“Was this one nice?” Ella asked.
“He was…perfect.”
I would have him here right now if only…
He glanced towards the bedroom. He could almost see Ambrosius curled up under his covers, asking him to come back to bed. Those golden eyes full of love and a smile full of mischief. He acted like all he wanted was a morning cuddle, but they would end up making love by the warm fire…
“Are you going to marry him?”
There was a lump in his throat as the fantasy dissolved with those curious words.
Ballister shook his head.
“That will be all, Ella. Thank you.”
