It's time to introduce my Star Trek OCs!!

A few years ago, me and a friend made a collaborative project where we made a concept of a fan made Star Trek show, including making several characters

I will be introducing the characters I mostly talk about. So without further ado...

Meet Evelyn. Evelyn is human. Evelyn is a Starfleet science officer with a focus in archaeology. She has a very friendly personality, and always tries to see the good in everyone. Her hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, and reading.

She was originally going to pursue a career in theater, but opted to join Starfleet instead. At first, she longed for approval from her family, but eventually found her place in starfleet, and finding a love for history and archeology. Meet Kara. Kara is a Vulcan, and the twin sister of Evelyn. She is a starfleet science officer, serving as the first officer of her ship. She was accepted into starfleet academy at the age of 16, and her career has been on an upward trajectory since.

Both girls were raised in San Francisco on the Vulcan embassy, near Starfleet headquarters.

The concept behind them being twins is essentially instead of having a half human half Vulcan character, we have a separate human and Vulcan character.

Lets talk mirrorverse

Both Evelyn and Kara have mirror universe counterparts.

Both girls grew up heavily influenced by the Terran empire, trained and conditioned to work for the empire and eventually into joining Starfleet. Both girls are highly trained fighters, and are capable of murder.

Kara is definitely the more cold of the two. As she got older, she became colder, caring about only her job and duty. Shes essentially a weapon to the empire.

Evelyn is a starfleet officer, honestly just trying to survive. For most of her life she's just done what she's told and has just tried to stay one step ahead of her enemies. One day her whole world will collapse and she'll be forced to run away from the life she knows, seeking safety in the original universe.

Personally I'm a big fan of the Star Trek mirror universe and love exploring the mirrorverse counterparts of the characters I create.

More OC information

Evelyn has always felt like she lives in Kara's shadow. She feels like she can never live up to Kara, and never be as good as her. Of course Evelyn is great at what she does, she's a phenomenal science officer as well as being talented in other areas, but she can't see that herself because she always feels inferior compared to Kara's successes.

Having grown up on earth for all her life, Kara finds it difficult to navigate living as a Vulcan amongst humans. She's familiar with human customs and interacting with humans because she grew up around them, but she finds it hard to connect with them often times. She spent a lot of her childhood reading and studying as opposed to with people her age.

Some Aliriya facts

She's from a story I'm writing!!

-She isn't human, she's an alien

-Her hair is light blue, as well as her eyes

-She spent a lot of her childhood on Earth. Her parents were scientists who moved to Earth when she was young. They studied plants. They kept their identities as extraterrestrials and secret.

-However, her family was caught. She was taken away and spent her adolescence in a laboratory, being observed.

-Aliriya likes plants! She would like to be a botanist, like her parents

-She used to play the flute as a child. After she escapes the laboratory she begins to learn to play the flute again

-One of her most prized possessions is a notebook that she had journaled and drawn in during her time in the laboratory
