Danny remembers the lazarus pits

Back when he was a little kid he just kinda accepted that they existed and they were a part of life or whatever, and the two weren’t really allowed near them anyway so when whatever happens to separate him from Damian happens he doesn’t think about them much. Maybe he remembers them every now and then but not too in depth. Maybe he practically forgets they’re there.

Then he reunites with Damian and all that stuff and, upon meeting Jason, he senses how messed up he is, and maybe asks what’s up with him. When he’s told, he makes the connection between the pits and the infinite realms and goes “what the FUCK”
