I just realised that the reason I love billy Hargrove as a character so much is that we had almost the same childhood, but he externalised his anger and pain while I internalised mine. Yes I’ve been crying for an hour why do you ask

#like it’s not okay that he hurt people obvi but like #he’s a kid #I said horrid things to people when I was hurting #but I was able to get out of that environment and change #he never got that #which yes is also why I’m crying #he needs a hug and some therapy so bad #he rlly got screwed over man idk how people can just reduce him to this one dimensional racist rage machine #like Steve was bigoted as shit in season one and he got his character growth and now we love him #but billy literally died before he could even try and be better #billy hargrove #stranger things
