#honestly i was dizzy coming out from rosh hashanah and that wasn’t an actual fast

my synagogue needs volunteers to usher on yom kippur and i feel drawn to help out but i’d need to get there at 8:30am

day is already going to be long and that’s adding two additional hours to being in shul…can’t decide if i’ll regret it or not :/

#i’m not worried about waking up #i’m worried about staying hydrated #i cannot fast if i want to attend the whole day (and i do) and my rabbi 100% supports that and has told me not to fast #(it’s because of my meds) #but i’m going to be basically fasting as long as i’m indoors since i’ll be wearing a mask #and also don’t want to eat or drink water in front of people who ARE fasting #my plan was to go into the parking lot between services and eat a snack and down some water #but going earlier decreases my drinking water time by 2 hours #honestly i was dizzy coming out from rosh hashanah and that wasn’t an actual fast #that was just a long service #ughhhh #my posts #jumblr #no matter what i should focus on getting better hydrated this weekend beforehand
