its so damn cold cause of this winter storm so if you see egregious typos just know i tried my best okay my hands are just very cold!
-Every single episode’s first ad on rewatch has been a car ad is the world trying to tell me something here
-how did i forget about the strip club. How.
-tk checking out the dancers even though he goes dancing with his future husband later this same episode
-okay but how heavy would a fullly platinum crown be???? Like that sounds horrible and painful to wear evem for am important event like this…
-paul is such a stud i would look at him like that too if it was my first time seeing that stunning face
-oh the episode is called studs im so smart
-tk breathe baby its just a routine appointment
-OWEN WOULDNT HAVE HAD TO DO THIS ALONE IF HE HAD JUST SPOKEN UP ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!
-Wayne being so accepting right away love to see it
-tk laughing at his dad’s possible erection problems lmfaooooooo
-gonna be honest im skipping over this grace storyline cause i hate it so much its not her its not the vibe its a no for me
-paul remembering her name hehehe
-i forgot how awkward paul is with this??? Its so cute omg.
-pow pow pow one of my fave season one moments cause its one of many examples of tk being so supportive of his new family
-owen meets zoe this episode???? wtf why did i think that was later like right before/during the finale
-holy shit i forgot they actually use the term incels
-something about michelle and carlos joking around on a scene makes me smile
-probably cause we see he’s always liked to do that with his favorite people and later on we always see him doing that with tk and i just like that through line
-the ambulance sulfate thing jfc can these people catch a break EVER… also i completely forgot about this?? I must have blocked out everything EMS from the first season cause i haven’t remembered any of their solo calls so far
-more workout scenes please and thank you
-good to know the timeline problems have always been around lmfao
-tk always gives good advice if only he could listen to himself for once
-i wish wed seen one or two more dates for paul over the seasons before he met asha, it would have been interesting to see a bit more of his concerns being handled differently once he got more settled into the 126 and texas overall

-judd having an episode and breaking out of it because of “bull stuff” is so good
-he’s so traumatized and just needs love and time and he’s getting it slowly and surely it’s amazing seeing him balled up in the early season when we know how he ends up
-i love judd’s laugh so much
-it sucks that this doesn’t work out and hurts paul. But they are having suuuuuch a good time it’s so cute, even if i know it doesn’t end well.
-tk is so cheerful and rooting for the best for sll of his friends it sucks that he struggles so much with his own needs and life at this point. Why do bad things happen to good people dammit!!!
-tk is beating himself up so much for pushing push just to end up getting his heart hurt oh buddy
-i headcanon that the club they go to tonight is the same club the loft is close to
-shakes ass to rhythm of the night as tk gets possessive over carlos immediately
very fun episode, bad grace characterization aside, COMPLETELY forgot this is the first time we see michelle start doubting her position which in retrospect seems very weird because why have that as an early plot if they planned on keeping her around initially? then again tk has almost the same doubts later on so… hm.

-Owen's deflection with humor has been around the entire time huh. I guess I sped ran the series my first watch and missed that detail

-They did this entire house sequence sooooo nicely i remember first watch being surprised by everything happening and LOVING IT!!
-Grace handled this so well I love when we get emergencies that highlight her part of the process so much
-watching Carlos pull up to this scene knowing what happens ha haaaaa hope he left before it gets worse!!
-hmmmm im gonna jsut go ahead and say that he did NOT leave!!
-these dramatic ass writers making us all go through a "I dont want to lose anything else i love" then having THE ONE WHO SAID IT GET SHOT LATER!!! UGH!!! props. it was good. i was shocked as hell the first watch
-At least they didn't repeat the sets for the comas as funny as that could've been
-carlos baby don't worry this isn't even the worst coma he gets into!! which is... great!
-liv has suuuuuuuch a good singing voice ugh
-carlos just has all these big feelings he wants this boy to let him feel but there isn't anything he can do but sit there WITH HIS THUMB UNDER THE SLEEVE ALL INTIMATE AND SHIT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
almost at the end... damn. I forgot how hooked I was with this show from the start it's been so long since I watched these, this rewatch is fun as hell!!

I can't decide what to eat for dinner so maybe this will help me decide??
-This opening emergency is one of the biggest offenders of the weird season one filter. Why is everyone's skin so damn gray...
-Also i just paused cause i forgot to get water but doesn't someone get fkin impaled when he gets loose??
-that is NOT a sixteen year old lmfao
-rodeo bull for best therapist for owen! bring him back in season five!!
-TK is such a good kid for helping owen train, best son award goes to him!
-i need to add this country eye of the tiger cover to a playlist
-Did Rob Lowe actually do all this himself do you think cause I like to picture him going through the whole test and them sitting there filming it all.
-"Yeah but i can learn" He is such a good kid he just wants the best for everyone and will do whatever he needs to for others.... but not himself UGH!!
-Paul is totally justified in his anger here and I'm so glad they addressed it

-can you imagine what it would be like if they kept Billy chill moving forward and a frenemy at the worst instead of everything that happens at the end of S2 lol...
-obviously that wouldn't make good drama for TV, BUT! It's just one of many things i keep wondering how it'd have played out differently
-this vague ass ending with the crashed truck why do i remember NOTHING about michelle's storyline????
nearing the end of the season and the only thing i really remember moving forward is the bang bang and the resulting conclusion of all that so... lets see what happens now!

1x06 Rewatch Thoughts and Feelings
I’m heating up a pizza as i type hell yeah
-this intro scene is why i hate driving. I know its an extreme situation and would likely never happen but crashes freak me out so bad UGH
-i wonder how different some of the emergencies would have played out had michelle stuck around for more of her “screw protocol” attitude, i would’ve loved to see that! Tommy has her amazing moments too but I don’t remember any distinct one like this transfusion moment (except for the judd v tommy crap in s4 but i like to pretend that never happened because it wasn’t resolved well imo)
-shakes ass to edge of my seat cause this song is a JAM
-i know a rope-a-dope when i see one, i need to know badly how the hell tk is familiar with that phrase
-judd and owen bonding time even of it means the intro of billy2 snake tyson
-grace lovingly scolding her man about not telling owen about billy i have to know these two talked all about the night when everyone was settled back home in bed lmfaooo
-ESPECIALLY since it goes well you know judd was “BABE GUESS WHAT” as soon a she walked through the door
-you spun! I did not?! They are BROTHERS
-judd did not pause that audio recording so i like to think mateo heard him randomly call out to billy mid thought when he showed up
-????? Why did they have the little girl compliment tk’s muscles wtf LOL
-farming is so dangerous and terrifying if one thing goes wrong i could never do this
-well michelle tried to warn owen about billy…good to know that he’s a pest until the ice storm
-why the hell did they wake him up in the middle of the night for a pop quiz lmfaoooo these people are CRAZY (i love them)
-i really like this storyline and wish the show focused more on mateo’s serious moments with his coworkers. It always feels like he’s just a character made for laughs until they suddenly decide to give him a storyline…. But maybe i’m just not remembering later storylines well which is entirely possible
-if the wind blew the cremains right back into this guy’s face i wonder what that means about their relationship
-owen finally feeling like he has a new friend he can confide in but it just ends up getting stabbed in the back oh boy… fuck billy tyson!
-marjan being with mateo the entire way for the test is such a good thing to see i love her so much. So supportive and happy to help anyone who needs her, even outside the job
-why is it a recurring thing for mateo to be stuck with shitty captains that aren’t owen in this show
-AWWWW I FORGOT THEY ALL SHOWED UP FOR HIM AFTER THE TEST THEY ARE SUCH A FAMILY ALREADYYYY
-awwwww i forgot this episode ends with Billy being a snake i thought that waited till next episode :[
forgot how much i like mateo as a character in the early days pf the show?? I don’t know why but i just lost interest in him as the show went on.

shakes ass to sounds of tornados cause im from the midwest so im numb to sirens and potential dangers from them because of so many false alarms all my life
-poor kitty is so scared :(
-i feel so bad for this dad and his kids watching the setup for the disaster and knowing how it ends
-yes wayne drag him for not coming clean to his team!!
-i know its a long shot but it’d be great to see Wayne again so Owen can be reminded of how far he’s come already since getting to Texas
-haaaaa the coming back to church after being pained talk is too real for me a bit hahahaha i get you juddy but i also completely understand where grace is coming from and BOy you did not hand this conversation well judson.
-OWEN TELL YOUR SOOOONNNNN
-marjan and paul bantering on the job is so cute i love their friendship so much more of this next season please and thank you!!
-bri and caleb the recurring emergency duo of gold makes their first appearance oh my gosh i forgot about this one
-oh we’re back to the dad and his kids this is gonna hurt rewatching i might just skip because it breaks my heart
-owen throwing his life into danger to help other people… *glances at tk and his tendency to do the exact same* hm. Interesting. Curious. Fascinating.
-the blunt parallels between this dad and owen hurt even more the second time because I GET IT!! But i still don’t like it. TELL YOUR DAMN SON
-judd meeting grace at church is heartwarming because you know at this point he isnt very comfortable with it yet but knows that it WILL be good for him so he will give it another chance, for his wife, just not right this second. And he DOES. We see him at church in s4 <3
-tk and his prickly skin ready to fight because hes so upset but then he deflates and his heart takes over, reassuring his dad that he’ll always be there for him.
and that’s that. Woo!

1x03 Rewatch Thoughts and Feelings
same disclaimer as before but now im medicated and sleepy so we/ll see what happens
-corn silos are terrifying and judd is totally in the right this entire situation sorry tk buddy EVEN THO he obviously could’ve approached it way better
-im sure this wont be the last time i say this along the rewatch but this is the first time we see judd in “captain mode” and i can only hope that at some point Owen retires and Judd ends up permanent captain of the 126. Whether it be season or series finale i don’t mind but that’s what i’d love to see for him even if it is predictable. He has such a big heart and is so good at getting people to listen to him (this one time being a non factor)
-his life is in danger if he falls in too but all TK can think about instead of protecting himself is possibly helping save his new friend he’s such a good soul.
-filming the sliding out of the silo with all of the corn HAD to be a blast there is no way it wasn’t
-will we ever find out more about any other members of the 126 like B shift or the ones in the other trucks that arrive with our 126 i wonder cause there are definitely more trucks there than are needed for just 6-7 people
-tk going in for a fight will always hurt to watch but it’s also just so smooth cause they play exactly into his hand
-THE tarlos season one scene i love that this is what they used for the chemistry read because yes its 100% the most important scene between them this entire season
-“you’re free to go” and he keeps talking. They both do. Ahhhhhh.
-tk could just walk away. But this is the first person whose really cared for him and acknowledged his pain in some way. So he eants to make it right. And he DOES.
-tk got his apology in so he doesn’t expect anything more so i wonder what his first thought is when carlos actually continues. We know his second once he processes what Carlos has said already lmfao but ugh just thinking about tk walking away without anything else being said and probably thinking that they’re still on bad terms… or i guess neutral at least. But carlos adding his little jab and smirk shows that everything is going to be fine.
-i COMPLETELY forgot about this MNT bit with the food eating contest lmfao good to know that the paramedics have always gotten their own funky calls throughout the show I remembered that as something that only happened with TNT.
-carlos already showing his sarcasm and sass in this scene with michelle when he grills her for never asking about his life lmfaooooo i love him sm
-carlos cant get him out of his head because he knows thats his soulmate
-owen and wayne’s scene is so important because it obviously sparks owen telling everyone around him, but it’s also a stepping stone into owen finally coming back to his own reality.
-“my people have enough to worry about on their calls. This is my fight.” GEE I WONDER WHERE TK GETS HIS PRICKLY SKIN WHEN HE NEEDS TO DEAL WITH A PROBLEM IN HIS LIFE COMES FROM
-i feel so bad for marjan in this scene and i wish we got some follow up on whether or not she did find a new mosque… iirc unless she mentions it later this season we just never hear about that again right?? Paul tells her to keep her hijab up and walk in proud of herself and from what i remember that’s it?
-both carlos and owen cringing at the yoga girl’s video because they’re meant to be familyyyy hehehehehe
-TELL YOUR SON DAMMIT

-see carlos is secure in himself BUT how much of it is a front when it comes to tk at this point because i know this anxious man is overthinking every little detail when it comes to their interactions now

-judd owning up to his feelings and being honest about why he came at tk ugh this big bear of a mean is such a good person i love him so much

-I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH what a fuckin fever dream hearing that song again
-oh wow they are grilling the hell out of him for this routine lmfao i forgot how much they tease him about all of this
-this was one of those scenes i mentioned where the emergency escalated so quick and was not what i expected it to be at all lmfao
-the aging with the bird box netflix comment zzzzzz i hate when media does this but i can overlook it here
-paul doing a thing we need another of these on season five. TWO if i may be so brave to request
-where the hell did this delivery driver even get the mercury for this now that i really think about it
-there’s some weird liberty mutual ad playing right now that has a baby talking about insurance im kind of in awe at the absurdity
-owen struggling to let go of his hair treatment goofy ass
-judd in therapy hits so hard ugh grace being there with him and he is truly trying and even has his comfort pillow for hugging because he needs something but it just isnt enough yet my heart hurts for him so much
-i forgot that grace is near sobbing when he leaves jesus christ that hurts too she loves this man so much and his pain is hers (and vice versa of course) i’m so glad that never goes away as the show goes on. Even if i could use more of it.
-michelle helping this little boy is a great foil to her introduction and i love it a lot, BUT overall i can’t find a way to care about this whole plot with Iris missing. Probably because i know it doesn’t go anywhere after this season except for the start of season 4…. I really wonder how different everything would have been had liv stayed and plot lines not adjusted accordingly.

-my extended family cooks a pig just like this in a pit and everything and it tastes soooooo good

-the lady leaving herself to die in a fire because hes bald????? I know its a nightmare but wtf i forgot about all of that too 😭
-owen embracing this guy’s fantasy about the overlords but not being able to wrap his own head around his health’s reality is heartbreaking… at least he’s forced to address it once TK finds the meds
-owen and judd riding horses already getting that brotherly bond started ooooo i love them so much
-oh god first date time oh wow olay here we go CARLOS YOU'RE SO SMITTEN BUT NOWS NOT THE TIIIIME
-the boys miscommunicating for the first and certainly not the last time but its okay because it’s all a part of their story <3
-carlos calling this a hookup boy you know damn well that is not how you feel about this
-tk is so sad when he apologizes for the misunderstanding because the last thing he wants is to hurt anyone else but he can’t stop himself and it all just gets worse and worse in his eyes…. At least we know it gets better eventually.
-grace helping judd count to 5 and she is so proud of him oh i love these two so goddamn much they are perfect and i need even more of them in season five
-does every episode of season 1 end with a song playing over a montage of stuff happening like did i just block that from my memory
-owen taking the first step to being more comfortable with his reality outside of the obvious therapy and treatments ugh so good.
god season one feels like a completely different show from the rest of it? Obviously the changes with casting and covid messed somethings up but i wonder how different everything would have been had the pandemic not happened and they were able to collow through on plot lines they wanted to from the beginning

-okay so the first time i watched this episode i was shellshocked by how much happened before the first commercial break?? A whole fire ladder crew is lost, someone is diagnosed with cancer, someone overdoses???? i was- ?????? And then i saw it. The sign i missed from the beginning. “produced by Ryan Murphy”. SONUVABITCH I SHOULD’VE KNOWN- (i was a glee kid)
-Owen and TK are such a good duo
-country music cause we’re in texas baybeeee yeehaw
-these two are so “new york” stepping out of this car it pains me
-tk is such a good person and so aware of other people’s needs it hurts so much how he (at this point) doesn’t put that same energy towards himself
-shakes ass to the music playing while we get our “Meet the 126” montage
-“i’m allergic to poor leadership” such a good line that does an amazing job setting up who Marjan is going to be for the whole series.

-this scene is so well acted I love it so so so much. Judd’s anger and Owen’s calm but cautious energy mesh so well.

-liv is such a good actress i don’t care for michelle but i DO like liv this first scene is such a good introduction

-i always love trying to figure out what the emergency is going to be when we’re clearly approaching one in a set up scene because most of the time it’s obvious but there are the few that come around and shellshock me lmfao
-Michelle and Owen as captains would have been a fun dynamic to explore as the show went on had liv stayed around. Even if I am a huge fan of Tommy and how they interact and respect each other.
-grace immediately calling judd on his bullshit is perfect and i love her for it so much. Another amazing introduction to a character. hell this whole pilot does the best job of introducing us to the cast in the first episode than i think a lot of shows (that i’ve at least seen) do so props to them!
-“the man i love has never taken no for an answer, so do not start now.” GRACE IS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD
-i forgot they start the skincare talk in the pilot i thought this was and episode 2 thing sfgfsgngn this feels so goofy to include in the pilot like it’s meant to be a major plot moving forward instead of just characterization
-“most people tend to tiptoe around me” paul… </3 I love him.
-carlos just introduced himself to his future father in law and doesn’t know it yet hehehehehehehehehehe
-CARLOS AND TK JUST SPOKE TO THEIR FUTURE HUSBANDS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND DONT KNOW IT YET HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE
-i love how tk starts the show off wanting to be exactly like his dad, or at least who he thinks his dad wants him to be, and evolves into his own person over time and is proud of that. I’m proud of that.
-TELL HIM ABOUT THE- ugh. Canon event.
-“that’s him?” she had target locked and ready
-carlos nervously waiting for michelle to get everyone away so he can approach tk yeah yeah yeah
-“you wanna dance?” It beeeeginss!!!!!!
-grace being the best and approaching owen is my favorite scene in the pilot by far. ESPECIALLY on rewatch, knowing where the characters end up and all.
-This second scene with owen and judd is definitely sceond place though, given how it seems like Judd messed this up again but Owen decides to give him a chance by telling him about his cancer and then acknowledging the memorial that was put up… and it works out for everyone because Judd ends up becoming the heart of the new 126.
