#how are leorio and tsukki similar...?

so i've already doled out pet names to a few hq characters, tobio's "my son <3", akaashi's "my darling," yachi's "my girl <3"...

originally tsukki didn't get a pet name (well, you could say originally he already had a pet name but i'm 23 now and i don't want to call a 15yro boy the same pet name i called him when i was 13/14 nope nope), mostly cause he's already tsukki, that's not a pet name but it is a nickname. but now i feel like just "tsukki" isn't affectionate enough, and even "tsukki <3" doesn't quite feel right... maybe "my dino nerd <3"?? with the "<3" the "<3" is very important... that feels a bit reductive...

this is a serious dilemma.

#for those curious i unironically and frequently referred to him as “my husband” for year #bc yeah i've always had a hard time disentangling identification and attraction #calling him that now would both be wildly inappropriate - he's a babyyyyy - and also inaccurate like that's not my husband that's ME so #i think he was the second character i called that... the first was kurapika from hxh and you know what i'd still call him that today #like if i got back into hxh #love kurapika <3 #and i am not really that much like him #if anything i am more like leorio #and the fact that i can admit that is truly proof of character development #how are leorio and tsukki similar...? #well don't think tooo hard about it kk thx bb <3 #anyways i will think about this and report back #maybe strawberry boy? but that's also reductive #sweetheart is what i have other characters call him in fics #i could do that but THAT feels like crossing a line #that's for kuroo not for me #ah well anyways #tsukki <3 #tsukishima kei #haikyuu
