RULES AND GUIDELINES

All works must feature Canon/OC as the main pairing. Canon/Reader is included in this.

Fanwork of any rating is permitted, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat included. Please keep this in mind when interacting with any content and tag your work appropriately.

All creations must be new pieces created for the fest. You can pull from stories you’ve already established and even consider the creation canon to it! It just has to be fresh work.

This is meant to be a romance-focused fest, but BrOTPs are also acceptable as long as it includes an OC.

Any and all types of fanwork are encouraged. Art, podfics, songs, etc.

Works of any length are welcome.

Prompts don’t have be strictly followed, they’re vague for a reason! But we do ask that you use a prompt, one way or another.

Post your work anytime from the 23rd of September to the 30th. We’ll add it to the collection on Ao3 and reblog/share it here!

HPC OC PROMPTS

As it’s a little difficult to have proper prompting for OC pairings, we’ve decided to have a theme of prompts! The theme this year is 7 Core Classes. The idea is, whatever your OC’s favorite/best class is, that’s the prompt list you choose from! If they liked an extracurricular or they don’t have a favorite class, then that’s perfectly fine, pick whatever you please. Prompt list below the cut.

If your OC is a teacher, would you choose the class they teach instead of their best/favourite class?

You're free to choose that if you'd like, yes! You're also free to pick whatever prompt and/or set of prompts that you want. I know I'm personally combining a prompt from History of Magic and Astronomy. It's less of a "you have to" and more of a fun suggestion

Are you allowed to make multiple submissions for this fest? Say you want to write a fic but also make a seperate piece of art, would that be allowed?

Yes, absolutely! You're even allowed to make multiple writing submissions if that suits your fancy. We're not at all picky about what you wanna do in regards to this fest as long as it stays within the guidelines.
