68 — are there any fics that influenced you to write the way you do?

hmmm. not that i can really think of, off the top of my head? i hadn't really read a ton of danganronpa fic before i started writing for the fandom, and i had only read like... one long fic reader-insert before i started sleep awake ? i think ? it's more like i absorb a ton of stuff from different fics and fandoms that i pass through really quickly.

the two fics holding me hostage atm and stealing my lunch money currently are 'the final piece' by lovesoftlove13 on ao3, and 'detective's quandary' by nexuswrites on ao3. these are both reader insert longfics and their characterisation and creativity is mesmerising . PLEASE if u came to this blog from sleep awake check out these two, you will LOVE them.

an always favourite is 'growing pains' by tieressian on ao3, a childhood friends komaeda x reader insert. it's so lovely and sad and jackie's writing never ever fails to amaze me.

not danganronpa, but i recently read this shinkawo fic and it totally bowled me over. it was so so good i was glued to the screen. it's 'resurfacing' by kawaiidonut on ao3 and its a masterpiece.

i also LOVE. love. 'if it isn't real, why does the sun still burn?' by breemaybe on ao3. such a cute idea and the characterisation is so good as always (this one is nsfw so if ur a minor . do not read it please. )

You can call me M. I’m 23 and live in the EST. I have about 10 years of role play experience (all the way back to the Neopets days lol). My reply frequency can vary based on work/life, but it's usually within the range of a couple replies per day to once every 2-3 days. I always try to let my partners know if I won't be able to reply for anything more than 3 days. I’m hoping to find a few new role play partners here!

I’m hoping to role play a modern M/M with original characters. My interests range from slice of life to spooky (i.e. demons, vampires, superpowers, werewolves) to anything revolving around odd pairings and love/hate relationships. I’m open to role playing drugs, violence, and other dark themes as long as my partner is as well.

I have a few plot ideas in mind, but I’m also open to hearing anything you might be craving!

My only requirements are:
