so far a major recurring theme with the Mighty Nein has been revealing names: Caleb and Nott turn out to be aliases they both use (initially while hiding from their pasts, now maybe just the names they’re more comfortable with?), Beau turns out to have been named specifically to fulfill some prophecy for her dad, Fjord turns out to have been given a name in his youth which he doesn’t use but which is significant to Caduceus, Jester turns out to have been given a different name by her mother but chose her current/real name herself, and Yasha has a title given to her by her tribe which she’s shunned (I feel like there’ll be more to unpack there eventually) (even Molly turned out not to be the only name he had!)
anyway what I’m saying is I can’t wait to find out why Caduceus is named after the fake symbol of medicine
