Been a MASSIVE fan of your art for since EVER. Not to confuse music preference with stellar fashion but you seem the cowboy enthusiast; any country music recommendations for beginners? 🤠

A lot of it depends on the sound you're looking for, cause there's like at least 50 sub-genres that fall under the country label, and some of them were more popular during certain periods than others

Personally, I prefer a lot of the sounds that were popular in older (Pre-2001) country, so some of my favorite artists from the 40's-60's are:

Johnny Western

Patsy Cline

Don Gibson

Kitty Wells

Marty Robbins

Eddy Arnold

Tammy Wynette

Willie Nelson

Moving into the 70's, country kind of starts to change a bit from that old traditional folksy-country sound into something that has a few more contemporary rock and even pop influences, so some of my favorite artists from the 70's-80's are:

Johnny Cash just has a way of breaking genre barriers for people, even tho his sound was and for the most part always had been very traditionally old school country. big long post thanks for bearing with me

a few days ago i reached a $60 goal for funds for a button maker to make custom wiz buttons with. after calling around a bunch of local stores yesterday and looking into online options, it looks like the machines I had initially been looking at are either scams or not worth the money and are going to make shitty buttons that won't last very long.

I was debating getting something cheap but I think in the long run, I would rather ask for some help to buy a good quality machine than buy a cheap one that will make poor quality buttons and need to be replaced soon. buttons and stickers and stuff is something a lot of people have asked for and i'd like to do it right.

I want to be fully transparent about what I am using this money for, and exactly how much an initial batch of materials plus the machine would cost.

Currently looking at this model/kit here, it's consistently the most reccomended machine and one i've used before through a job, so i'm familiar with it and know it works well. the buttons it makes are 1.5 inches (38mm). the $60 i already got will go to this so i'm looking for somewhere between $240 and $300.

i'm not asking for this without offering something in return. I said this on the ko-fi page, but if you contribute to this or you already have, when I start selling them shoot me an email (at [email protected]) with the subject "button donation" or something like that and a receipt/screenshot of your contribution and I'll mail you whichever one you'd like on da house <|:•D These are some of what i plan on making that u can choose from if ya donate. it's only 1/4 or so of the designs so there will be more if none of these speak to you !
