So I'm awake and have been trying to wait out some symptoms I thought might warrant a trip to the er if they got worse (they're improving, huzzah) and I needed food but one of my symptoms was apocalyptic nausea.
I ended up fixated on waffles for some reason. I'm gluten free and I was out of eggs (and egg replacer lmao) so this was... not an ideal food for my body to decide it needed at 1AM.
This ended with me making about a quarter batch of gluten free bisquick waffles (added baking powder since I don't have eggs and they turned out fine) and some chicken nuggets.
I, a southerner who has never even been out of the south, just had chicken and waffles for the first time. I'm in my 30s ya'll, how the hell did I manage to avoid this combo for so long 😭
