Thoughts on the community/any friends you've made?

if we’re talking the hlvrai community its genuinely one of the most creative yet terrifying fanbases ive ever been in thats for damn sure HJFHDSKJFHDSKJF

but i wanna focus on the positives like! legit okay listen. the amount of shit ive seen put out for hlvrai is batshit insane. its one of those fandoms that spawns a lot of aus but it doesnt absolutely obliterate the main tags with it (like lets say undertale) bc hlvrai like. it has SUBSTANTIAL canonical content that balances story and comedy really well, but it also leaves plenty of room for interpretation and its really fun!!! and GOD it shows bc the shit ive seen people come up with in this fandom is bonkers like you people took that shit and RAN

like. there so much cool shit like the well known stuff like y2kvr, hlvrv (which i havent read but ive been meaning to, mad respect for mothra projects tbh), toonhlvrai, etc. but theres also some stuff i HAVENT checked out yet but ive been meaning to like the xen project, final freeman, etc.

NOT TO MENTION COMICS LIKE. YALL KNOW THERES SO MANY FAN COMICS FOR THIS SERIES RIGHT? some personal favorites of mine are bloom by @/thecrowrambles and the catboy maid benrey comic (yes im serious. its hilarious and really cute)

theres a buncha early day fandom aus n stuff that i really miss too like. the mutiplayer/ai gordon au, all the early attempts to put together what benreys whole monologue meant, THAT ONE COMIC WHERE COOMER AND BUBBY HAVE A TALK ABOUT HOW THIS ISNT REAL AND WHAT BUBBY SAW WHEN HE WENT INTO THE VOID. TAKES A VILLAGE (whos ask blog i desperately need to catch up on). LETS TOUCH FACE. THAT ONE BATZ BOOMER ANGST POST (YALL KNOW THE ONE. YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.) EVERYONE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTING JOSHUA FREEMAN TO THE COWBOY-OBSESSED PROBLEM CAUSING JOSHUA BOT ON WAYNES STREAM.

basically what im saying is theres a LOT of material to work with here and jesus CHRIST did the fandom run with it. its so fucking fascinating and cool and despite the Lows we’ve had (and jesus fucking christ has the hlvrai fandom had its lows) ive genuinely enjoyed my time in the fandom and its made the last year one of the best for me :]
