One more: please elaborate on the fruit pruning techniues? :)

Espalier is a really cool technique where you train a fruit tree along a wall!

Training the branches horizontally increases fruit yeilds, and training them across south-facing walls (in the northern hemisphere) allows you to grow plants which wouldn’t usually tolerate the coldness of your climate, cause the wall shields from the wind and soaks up the heat of the sun.

It’s a very ancient, and effective technique :-)
