the bear has left me feeling quite numb i’m not gonna lie.

this will definitely be my least favorite season. it just feels like THE MIDDLE ™️ i need to see how the whole story concludes, where our players end up to give a final verdict

and y’all… don’t make me have to defend claire but someone saying it was out of line for her to be at the friends and family night, when she is clearly both to the berzatto’s, is ridiculous.

she has a relationship with sugar. richie literally touched foreheads with her in the middle of service. carmy just presumably asked her to be his gf the night before. im not into her or the plot line but she is a friend and was potentially on her way to being family.

trust me you are literally talking to a person who feels uncomfortable any time he dislikes a female character after years of loving unpopular female characters but then that discomfort turns to rage because every single unpopular female character I have loved is GREAT, COMPELLING AND AMAZING, AND UNDERAPPRECIATED and how dare you all (also it’s not even a thing where faye and alm can become a couple, she’s not a crush turned friend like clare, there is no point to faye) 

this is such late response I’m so sorry, but YES. THIS IS THE BIGGEST STRUGGLE. I'm not even remotely an 'eat your vegetables' kind of fan but sometimes you just don’t like a character and that doesn’t mean anything about all the unpopular characters you did like! they were still great and HOW DARE YOU. also now I’m in Act 4 and all of the sexual assault vibes were dropped for witch body horror and sad celica backstory anyways? why wasn’t that the deal from the beginning? JUST FOCUS ON THE PLOT FREMBLEMS AND LEAVE THE WEIRD BACKSTORIES FOR YOUR FEMALE CHARACTERS IN THE PAST WHERE THEY BELONG.

though, man -- I just got Faye and Alm’s A support conversation and I like her a bit better now. I take back some of my mean comments. it helped that Alm is such a good kid and that was a perfect rejection speech too. they’re from ‘’’different worlds’’’ and that’s okay. I still think her base comments following the Alm/Celica argument were pretty nasty though. Clair and Alm’s support on the other hand was perfect -- I love besties.

ps. speaking of new character thoughts, I liked him before but Saber is pretty much my favorite character of the game by now. I LOVE HIM. All Saber was hired to do was escort some sheltered temple kids to the mainland and now he’s kanye waterbottling TWO LOST ROYALS to the apocalypse, one of which is a COMPLETE AIRHEAD RAISED BY A MONK IN A FOREST with a passion for masks/a batman voice and the other is princess who has decided to fight every bandit and local dictator in her way to save a literal goddess. Saber didn’t sign up for this. he’s the best camp dad figure ever.

so I'm going through Celica's path before Alm's (mostly because I love every character in her army more than their equivalents on Alm's army with the exception of Lukas and Clair and Mathilda lol sorry Alm) so I haven't got to any repercussions of the The Hands Incident yet but I fully believe no matter he did, Berkut is a freaky bitch. that fiance of his is doomed. Fernand SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. EVERYONE KNEW. he even has an evil voice, ya should've picked up on that Fernand. I'm completely unspoiled if Fernand survives this war but either way I hope to make fun of him for as many chapters as possible.
