I cannot even explain how much I love this dog, and how exciting it is to watch her become more & more comfortable in our home. I just get so overwhelmed watching her sometimes.

Joel has been the scariest of our household people to adjust to, bc he's loud & moves fast & moves a lot. For ages, Emma was wary of him getting up, moving around, or being loud. We had a bit of time where she would occasionally alarm or resource guard bark when he came into the house or room.

And.... look at these pictures. That's him giving her PETS in the first one!!! She's snuggled in my lap & was very relaxed, so she didn't flinch away at all, even leaned in just slightly.

Second picture, Joel is playing video games, shifting around suddenly, talking loudly, etc. Emma's still snuggled in my lap less than a foot away, sleepy eyed & totally unconcerned.

She has completely charmed the whole house with how sweet she is, how eager she is to be included & how her personality has just bloomed. Regardless of all other goals we have in mind, the first and most important one has always been her being comfortable & able to relax in our house. And we've come so very far with that goal. 💜
