Hang on. The writing explicitly states that M*ria wanted to break up with Greg for SIX months??? Which is... basically the entirety of their relationship? Lmaooooooo. And what is with this show's obsession with having Alex constantly manage M*ria's love life? Having him do pretty much all the work in his own relationship was already a choice but he had to do the same for M*luca, then prop M*ria with Greg, and now ENCOURAGE his own brother getting dumped???

Okay, so I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty tipsy at that point and very angry so I exaggerated a bit, however the season starts with m*ria and Dallas already flirting and mention that they have been playing virtual games with each other for awhile. m*ria mentions Greg once to let the audience know he's not in town and that things are good with them but IDK why they wouldn't just have them break up over the break and have someone ask m*ria how she's doing since he moved away and they decided to end things! It would have made more sense and people wouldn't be wondering where TF he was when her mom died and no one even thought to mention him. But it's been a few months at least that she was ambivalent about him and actively flirting with someone else.

The writers constantly had Alex managing m*ria's relationships because they need to have her in scenes but never actually had anything for her to do once she was done giving Liz hints about Rosa's life and getting between Malex as an obstacle to keep them from getting together "too soon", and also because they don't care about Alex outside of how he can help others or his existence affects others 🤷🏻‍♀️ And naturally nothing about the wedding could be about him and they needed something for m*ria to do so they again had her make everything about herself and had Alex never once show any hint of anger/disappointment/hurt at her actions but happily tell her to just keep doing whatever she feels is right, because following her "heart" never backfired in any way at all ever, not even when she followed her lady bits heart to go after Michael who she knew Alex was actively in love with and feeling hopeful about a future with, and she knew Michael still had feelings for him too. Good riddance forever.

I thought I would wait, but I have no self control, so I have caught up with S3! Usually I don't like characters like max a lot, but it really really speaks to the writer's skill and the guys acting that I actually love him? Like I'm so glad they lean into his himbo-ness of it all, dramas usually don't do that! And how great is he this season? I absolutely love how campy Jones is. Like max tries to live as boringly as possible pining after Liz and Jones enters every room like LOOK AT ME! DO NOT LOOK AT ANYBODY ELSE!! LOOK AT MY AWESOME EVIL-NESS

Okay, now to the season: Isobel and Kyle? Not against it... Poor Kyle though, I absolutely feel for him this season. Now that malex is together, he almost feels like he's untethered? I can't believe how much I love him now! Him saying the fate of two planets and the soul of a man I don't like very much hangs in balance, comedy!!

When Rosa was introduced at the end of S1, I was very wary because usually resurrected characters die as quickly or even doesn't add a lot, but Rosa has been such a great addition! I love her arc so much! The actress who plays her has such an open face, I love her.

Max not being in the TraidTM sucks and I feel so bad for him! I mean, he fought his entire life for his family, he never gave up on micheal, always stood by Isobel and now.... He's not part of the triad? I love Dallas, don't get me wrong, but still...

Also after acting for years as his father figure, max Evans is micheal guiero's dada! Congratulations all around!!

MALEX!! MALEX being all cute and how is work honey, micheal wearing a shirt saying Eduardo valenti, I come in peace shirt because he was so worried, Micheal, who in S1 wanted to build a space ship and get out of this planet saying I'M HOME!! alex saying you're a piece of me I cannot live without!! They really said this season is for malex fans and malex fans only!!!

Also I just realised that most of the cast in this show is poc, except the og pod squad and alex, main cast is all poc, right? That's so cool! The story is simultaneously about poc and also not about them?? Idk if I make sense? It's like amy and Rosa(Diaz) being latina, yk? Idk

oh man, nathan dean parsons is SO FUCKING GOOOOOD. the way he changes everything about his physicality when he's playing max vs jones??? and the way you can tell who is who even when they're both wearing the same outfit?????? incredible showstopping groundbreaking inspiring!!!!!

okay i was not on the kybel train until literally 3x10 bc oh my god they're so cute together??? and he clearly is gonna be pining for her and i get it, but also anatsa!! i still don't get why they had her sleep with max before getting with isobel but 🤷🏻‍♀️

okay yes so i LOVE dallas and i think he's a fantastic addition to the cast/triad BUT you know how the triad has that triangle in the center??? i believe that's max!!!!! he's the one that brought them all together!!

the writers were really like "okay we've made them suffer enough, let's give malex stans everything they could ever want within 3 episodes xoxo" but now i am Scared™ for what might happen in the last three eps!! i mean if michael would do anything for alex before, imagine what he'd do now that they're FINALLY back together?!?!!?!

and yes everyone except the main pod squad are poc and even alex is supposed to be indigenous i believe!

for a dumb teen drama show about aliens, their comedy game is always on point lmaoooooo
