How to splurge and revamp your budget to compensate......if you can handle the torture
Well, in my Pinterest obsession, I came across an image of some shoes that I pinned in my accessories folder. I would look at them everyday to see if I felt the need to purchase them, and I finally caved in. Yes. I need those shoes in my life. I need them in my life so bad, that I almost want to start a GoFundMe campaign to get them, but I have discovered ways to save for them.   The asking cost is $350,and by it being the holidays, I have other priorities that may need to come first, but God will supply - even if I have to sell some ass to get them. Below are my options if I want to spend $350 on these shoes......
1.NO EATING OUT FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS. This includes no eating out at lunch, no Starbucks, no Happy Hour, and no late-in-the-midnight-hour runs to store for chips, cold coffee, snacks, etc. By eliminating these cravings - I can save $75-$100 in week.
2. SAYING NO TO INVITES. Friends call and ask if you wanna "hang out," and before you know it, you have splurged $30-$40 on buying drinks, rounds, appetizers and burned unnecessary gas.
3. GO ON A $20 A WEEK BUDGET - This will include the miminal things you will need for survival and emergency.
4. I DON'T CARE IF THE BLOUSE IS ON SALE FOR $4.99. I can't buy it. I have bigger fish to fry. Those small "sale" or "clearance" purchases add up. I gotta keep eyes on the prize...... And f you survive this buying freeze, just think about other ways you can save for other splurges by not succumbing to the temptations of the clearance fantasy.
5. WHAT TO EAT WHEN YOU ARE BUDGETING FOR A BIG PURCHASE.  Sometimes, you have to do what you have to do in order to afford what you want..... Rich people do it all the time - but they never tell their secrets....
A. Soup or Ramen Noodles,
B.  Drink Water instead of Soda, buy $1.00 flavor packs to add to water,
C. $1.00 celery and carrot snacks
D. Cook things like Chili, Spaghetti, Pasta... These things produce leftovers that will last 2-3 days.
E. Make the Dollar Store/Dollar General your friend. (This is another blog post that will be coming your way.)
I will probably have to go back and reread the above to make sure I am staying on course, because those shoes are fucking MINE!!!!

How to feel better about a breakup
Give away the gifts your ex boyfriend gave you. I'm giving my niece a pair of diamond earrings that my ex gave me for Christmas. I'm also donating a Packer's Jersey to a White Elephant Party.
