idk if you've previously answered this before but when are you going to start posting Ideltry (tentatively speaking)(no pressure just genuinely curious)?

not for a long time -- i'm almost done with act 2, but it's taken a very long time. act 3 still needs to be outlined and written. there are currently 18 scenes summarized in act 3's folder without any structuring. after that, i need a few months away from the story to read it with fresh eyes and write at the very least a second draft. this may or may not be as time-consuming because i suspect i will need to focus on thinning the herd as much as i can. the story easily clears an estimated 1,000 (print-size) pages based on the script, which is way too much. i truly hate being given feedback while i'm in the middle of creating something, so i want to shield idletry from that like i'm shielding my child from shrapnel in a war zone. i would probably post entire acts once they're finished. this would take months if not years -- longer if i try to split my attention between idletry and another comic. act 1 is the shortest act, so it would probably not be the 'years' part of working on it. comics are, unfortunately, extremely time-consuming, and that is why i post the sketch strips as side content.

tl;dr: at the EARLIEST ~2025.

this comic was largely motivated by the hot under the hood strip, where jessie then explores why it feels different for shiloh to benefit jessie autonomously vs. jessie writing them to do the same thing. it didn't really go the direction i wanted it to, but i can always do another take if i want later because she is a schewpit time traveler. it still explored some interesting territory, especially the level of awareness both of them have about exercising power in the relationship. i definitely see this as later into the relationship where both of them have gotten too comfortable in different ways and there is a lot of tension
