In which while getting used parenthood, you and Keiji introduce your newborn son to the Oda forces.

A shrill cry woke you both out of your sleep, he heard you before he could even open his eyes completely. "Oh my baby" you soothingly said, as the light assaulted your eyes. Quickly assimilating to the light Keiji saw you bump into the wall before feeling for the door, finding it and sliding it open.

He took a moment to sigh before sitting himself up and pulling the covers off.

He'd long since realized his dream, bringing an alliance back from Echigo. Becoming lord of the land, giving a home to his parents. Marrying you, becoming a father.

He inhales as he breaks out of his reverie at the sound of the door opening and closing. "Maybe we should move his room, it's always cold in there" you say, voice laced with exhaustion matching your dark eye bags, walking over to the futon, your son of barely 5 months in your arms. "Yeah? Maybe next to ours, instead of down the hall" he answers as he ties his hair. You nod in agreement, smiling at him as he settles himself behind you.

"Good morning" he says leaning over to kiss your temple, taking the blanket and repositioning it to cover both you and the babe in your arms. "Morning" you say back, letting the yukata slip off your shoulder in order to feed him. "How many hours did you get" he asks softly so as not to jostle the baby who is blissfully feeding on your nipple. "Hours? More like minutes" you joke, not entirely a lie, he laughs "after they go, get some sleep I'll watch him" Keiji offers not looking away from your half asleep baby. "Nah, you need sleep too, don't think I don't know you're sleep schedule is worse than mine" despite your words your tone was as soft as ever. "Okay" he tenderly whispers in your ear followed by a slight nibble to your earlobe.

"Keiji" you whimper, "they'll be here soon" you breathe out as he works his way down your neck. "So..." he reasons, you turn to him lips slightly parted as he leans into you slowly, his hand lightly caressing your jaw. Your lips are the only thing on his mind.

You feel a breath of cold air on your nipple right before your son's high pitched mewls turned into high pitched cries breaking the mood.

You both heave a sigh, before separating, he helps you restate your robes. "Do you know how much time we have before they get here?" You ask as he takes your baby to change his diaper "soon, but probably not until after breakfast" he estimates.

You hand your son off to the nursemaid, so that you and Keiji can enjoy breakfast together. After that you dressed the baby and then yourselves. Before going to the meeting room you took a mat for him to lay on along with a few toys that you knew he liked.

A delighted smile spread across your face as you wiggled the den-den daiko, one of the many gifts gifted to him by his grandparents. His cheerful gurgle and drool making its way past his chin, he flails as he sees your smile making your soar. The light of the sun breaks through the crack of the shoji doors illuminating his rosy cheeks making a sheer contrast to the bright blue kimono you'd made him.

"A strong voice makes good on the battlefield" Nobunaga's booming voice echoes throughout the meeting room, as you turned around you saw everyone pile in.

After exchanging greetings everyone took their seat around the room. You handed him to Nobunaga, helping him support your son in the right places.

"I think he has your nose" Hideyoshi whispers from his place between you and his liege lord, the latter's attention consumed by the child he was currently bouncing through the air. A breathy laugh leaves your lips "yeah and he has Keiji's hair" you whisper back. As your conversation dies down you both turn back to Nobunaga and the baby staring intensely into his eyes, kicking his feet as the former bounces him into the air.

He'd been doing this for quite a while now so you were concerned. "You might want to put him down for a minute, he might-" words dying down in your throat, pulling your lips back into a thin line.

Some watched in terror others in surprise as your son's throw up met its mark, on Nobunaga's face.

Your son's cries of displeasure followed right after as he felt the a sting in the back of his throat.

"Nobunaga-sama!" Hideyoshi's shocked voice broke everyone out of their stupor.

You didn't have to see Mitsuhide's smile as his snicker was enough to warrant a quick reprimand from Hideyoshi.

A small "oh..." escaped Mitsunari as Masamune and Ieyasu wore matching expressions of silenced shock.

Sighing you made your way to the door, hollering out for some towels and water as Keiji made his way from next to you to gather the child from Nobunaga's hands.

Said lord kept his eyes closed, not uttering a single word as chaos around him ensued. You made your way back over to him towels in one hand and a bowl of water in the other, placing one dampened towel in his free hand and the others on his knee.

Upon lifting your hand with another dampened towel, he holds up his hand to accept the towel from you. "Well..." you begin before finishing "at least your clothes are safe." Time stops as everyone in the room freezes astonished by your statement. "Y/n!!!" Hideyoshi scolds his tone scaring your son even more, you turn as Keiji struggles the fussing baby in his arms. "Hideyoshi please don't scare the baby" Ieyasu chimes in from his spot.

Hideyoshi's retort is cut off as everyone's attention is drawn to the slight chuckle coming from their liege lord. You turn surprise plastered on your face, as he leans forward so as not to get the retch in his mouth while wiping his face with the towels. As his laughter quieted down, you handed him the other towel so you could help your struggling husband.

"You got 'em" Keiji asked as you situated your son in your arms in a way that didn't involve getting the spit up on your kimono. "Yeah" you assured as you gently rocked him in your arms, careful not to agitate him any further. Gently thanking Keiji as he opened the door for you to swiftly exit and change his dirty clothes.

Sliding the door closed was harder with a 14 pound baby in your other arm. Mitsunari, being closest to the door, rushed from his sitting position to your aid "here" he said reaching behind you to close the door. You quickly thanked him and went to sit by the others, who were huddling around something.

"What's goin' on" Keiji turned at the sound of your honeyed voice, he swears you make his heart stutter every time. Keiji nods towards the center of the circle where multiple items were splayed out on the floor, some laying on the clean towels from earlier. "Awww" you swooned at the sight of baby sandals, several sounds of laughter meet your ears as you slowly sit down.

"Who?"

You asked, eyes a little teary voice wavering with emotion, making your husband's eyes and heart soften. Looking around the room you saw Hideyoshi put up his arm with a slightly bashful smile. You thanked him passionately the tears welling up in your eyes, pregnancy hormones not quite all gone, he waved his hand as he eased you a bright smile on his face.

"Lass" Masamune drew your attention to the small posh in front of you. Your look of confusion melted into one of adoration as he opened the pouch to reveal a small container filled with puréed fruit. Taking the spoon he had with it you gently placed some of the fruit on your son's parted lips. Everyone waited in silence as he contemplated the new flavor invading his senses, you and your husband laugh as your baby lifts his eyebrows in confusion, before using all of his strength to reach for the spoon again.

Your shared laughter was heard from down the hall, laughter that would illuminate your home for years to come.

earlier, i asked if anyone would read a keiji × oc × mitsuhide fic, but rn i'm actually thinking of making a switch to one of shingen × oc x keiji instead. it'll still be about 5 - 6 chapters but more lengthy (about 10k a chapter) and a lot of slowburn + angst content. the oc is still another time traveler like sasuke and mai ofc, but the ending i have in mind is still ... bittersweet when i think of the potential

A Rant About Ikesen’s Treatment of Motonari

I’ve been away from tumblr for a while but I had to come back for this.

So something I’ve noticed throughout playing Ikesen is the way that the game is very biased agains Motonari and I think it needs to be addressed because he is the only brown character and his portrayal is full of harmful stereotypes against brown men. I love this game but I haven't seen a single person acknowledge how badly Motonari is treated by the creators and the fandom as a result of that.

Also any racist comments will be blocked.

Possible route spoilers under the cut…

So lets start with the obvious, he is the only dark skinned character in Ikesen and when I first started playing I was so happy about that because finally (regardless of his ethnicity which honestly in this portrayal of him can be up for debate, I HC him as south East Asian) we are getting some representation. Throughout the game though I started noticing a lot of harmful stereotypes being thrown onto him that none of the other characters face.

Both him and Nobunaga are relatively misogynistic, I’m not denying that at all. However the way it is portrayed in their routes is very different. Nobunaga should in fact have sexual harassment charges, yet its romanticized repeatedly throughout his route. Motonari on the other hand treated MC as a possession the same way Nobunaga did, however he is shown as aggressive and scary as opposed to Nobunaga being shown as sexy and romantic.

There is also a difference in their respective CG’s

Motonari’s CG is shown much more threatening and aggressive than Nobunaga’s

That brings me to my next point. Every other antagonist so far is shown to have a gentle and redeemable side. Kenshin threatened to wage war on the whole country while keeping MC locked in a cell yet he is still shown to be gentle and romantic. Kennyo repeatedly kidnaps and threatens MC’s life in other routes yet he is shown as a gentle monk who just wants revenge for his fallen brethren. Why doesn't Motonari get that level of consideration and empathy? Why is he, the only brown man, shown as an aggressive two-dimensional brute in every single route that isn’t his own? And this is a harmful stereotype that shows itself in all kinds of media. Brown men are depicted as predatory and aggressive both in fiction and real life.

This leads me to his ethnicity (I’m only talking about Ikesen’s portrayal of Motonari, I am well aware he was a Japanese warlord irl). In his route there is a part where he is talking about slavery and colonialism. As a South Asian woman I completely understand his perspective and its what got me thinking about this subject in the first place.

This subject is clearly personal to him. These lines, the way he looks as opposed to the other characters, and the fact that he speaks Spanish (around this time period the Philippines were being colonized by Spain), leads me to head cannon him as South East Asian, specifically Filipino. However, historically, Motonari comes from a region of Southern Japan, which is known as Hiroshima today. Cybird meant to market him as Okinawan. A large part of the reason Motonari is being treated this way by Cybird stems from the fact that people from Okinawa face racism from mainland Japan. Considering the fact that this game was made in Japan, and knowing what we know about their history of colonization, racism, and east asian beauty standards revolving around colorism, I am honestly not surprised that Motonari is being portrayed like this.

Until now they just showed his reason for fighting the Oda to be “oh I just want to watch the world burn for no reason”. But no that’s not the reason. These lines. That’s the reason. A lot of the context behind those lines comes from the fact that comes from because people from mainland Japan treated Okinawan people as slaves. He doesn’t want to see another colonizer come into power. Sure he’s a bit of an extremist but historically people who have this ideology have always been portrayed as savage and barbaric and “against the betterment of society” (think Jet from atla or even Malcom x). It’s no different in ikesen. The devs are clearly villainizing this ideology. Let’s not forget the fact that irl Hideyoshi invaded Korea. And the fact that anime and otome games are part of Japan’s way of erasing their war crimes and rebranding themselves to the rest of the world. It’s blatantly obvious here with the way they’re villainizing Motonari for having a perfectly valid reason to fight the Oda. If Japan stays divided they can’t invade and colonize other countries like the Philippines can they? Anti-colonialism = bad.

Lastly I want to talk about how they downplayed his abilities as a leader and a warlord in his own right. In all the other routes he is depicted as less educated and frankly “dumb”, and it shows itself in his speech patterns too. Compared to Nobunaga and Mitsuhide, Motonari’s speech is stereotypically “less educated” and “lower class”. Yet he is just as much of a leader as any of the other warlords. However instead of acknowledging that, the game chooses to focus on his crimes and behavior as a pirate, instead of his role as the head of the Mouri clan.

At one point Kicho even compares his intelligence to a fifth grader which just rubs me the wrong way because lets take a moment to actually look at Motonari’s abilities. He is multilingual, has knowledge of global politics and economics, is an amazing businessman, and extremely analytical. He is literally known as the God of Decit, yet I did not hear that name once until his route came out. His strategies are good enough to be called a god, yet that is completely buried in the other routes in order to simplify his character into a trigger happy psychopath and a violent brute. He is just as smart as Nobunaga yet he is not given the credit he deserves.

Both Motonari and Nobunaga are extremely similar yet because of the horribly biased portrayals, Motonari is one of the least popular characters whereas Nobunaga is the second most popular. It makes me angry to see people in the fandom choosing to blindly hate Motonari without recognizing the fact that this stems from a frankly racist portrayal of an extremely intelligent and powerful character. Although truthfully, I blame the devs because if they had given his character even half the consideration and depth the others got, this would not be the case.

You can disagree with me if you want. I am simply bringing attention to something I haven’t seen being addressed.

I hope in future routes, events, and sequels he is treated better by the devs and and the fandom. Please stop projecting racist stereotypes onto brown men.

Summary : When the Oda Force finds out the true identity of a merchant named Shojumaru, they are ready to carry out your rescue mission. And they are ready to save you!

A/N : I was watching Tangled the Series last night and this suddenly came up in my mind:” And I also changed a bit of the lyrics. But it’s wouldn’t change the meaning, I just changed the pronouns.

ON a pirate ship docked at Sakai, you tried your best to convince Motonari that you wouldn't betray him. However, after learning that Oda Force has found his true identity, Motonari begins to doubt your loyalty. He thought you were the one who told them about him.

Motonari tied you to one of the masts on the ship very tightly, ensuring that you wouldn't run away.

Motonari walked to the ship’s bow as you watched him carefully. “Any moment now, m’lady!” he gazed beyond the horizon, knowing that the commanders of the Oda Force would soon be after him.

“Believe me I know, I've sunk pretty low,” Motonari turned to see you. His blood-colored eyes gazed throught you. “But whatever I've done, you deserved!”

“Motonari!”

“Quiet!” you shut your lips as he pointed his gun to you.

“I'm the bad guy, that's fine!” he sneered. “It's no fault of mine and some justice at last will be served.” he looked down to his left gloved hand before he clench it.

“Please, listen!” but Motonari didn’t want to hear a word from you anymore.

Motonari smirked at you as he walked to you. “Now it's time to step up or it's time to back down!” he kneeled down and lifted your chin with his gun. “And there's only one answer for me.”

You’re scared, but you have to be brave to reassure him that you're by his side. But he kept walk away from you. “And I'll stand up and fight 'cause I know that I'm right!”

Motonari climbed the the bowsprit and gazed far deadly. “And I’m ready... I’m ready...! I’m ready...!” he looked at you from his shoulder. “Ready as I’ll ever be...”

In the Oda Force Camp...

“My lord, are you sure you’re up for this?” Hideyoshi asked Nobunaga as his lord gulped down his sake.

“She’s my lucky charm, you monkey! She’s your sister too, isn’t she?”

"If you desire to save her, then who would lead the army? Ieyasu asked.

“It's not me who will save her, but he is!”

All pairs of eyes looked at the fluttering camp’s blinds, showing the red haired man with a pair of razor-like eyes. “I’m back, my lord!” he announced himself.

“Keiji,” all the warlords whispered. “That problem child? I guess it’s a good desicion,” said Ieyasu.

The tip of his spear glinted with the light of the sun. His glorious gold eyes gazed as sharp as his spear. He walked to report all the informations he got from his scouting to save you before.

“Now it's time to rise up or it's time to stand down,” Keiji dropped one of his knees and reported. He looked bravely at Nobunaga’s eyes. “And the answer is easy to see.”

Keiji raised his spear, making up his mind to save you. “And I swear by the sword. If you’re in, get on board!” as if he asking the other warlords, his golden eyes met every single pairs of their eyes. “Are you ready?”

"I’m ready!” Masamune who has no boundary in fighting answered Keiji first.

The other warlords looked at each other and nodded, raising their swords. “We’re ready!”

“We’re ready!” and the troops sang their loyalty to Nobunaga and will help Keiji to save you.

Keiji looked at Nobunaga, waiting for the Devil King to give him his permission. “Ready as I’ll ever be!”

Nobunaga stared deep into the young warlord’s eyes. “Are you quite sure we can do this?”

Keiji smirked at his lord and raised his spear. “Together we will guarantee!”

The message about the Oda Force starting to move reached Motonari's ears. You made up your mind once again and looked at Motonari. “I’ll make you hear me! Prove you can trust me!”

You've already told him the reason why you so desperately want Motonari and Nobunaga to reconcile with each other. “I’ll save my home and family!” tears slid down to your cheeks

Motonari gazed far beyond the horizon, noticing the Oda Force’s naval ships. An evil smile touched his lips as his blood-colored eyes dazzling under the sun. “Now the line's in the sand and our moment's at hand!”

“And I’m ready!” Motonari spread his hands.

“I’m ready!” Keiji looked at the reflection of his eyes on his spear. Mitsuhide patted Keiji’s shoulder with his fox smiles. “I’m ready.”

Motonari pointed up his gun to the sky, about to signaling that the war is about to begin. “Ready as I’ll ever be!”

Underneath that layer of happiness there was cynicism, a disbelief that there was acceptance and unconditional love. That there was such a thing as love for him who wasn't happy within.

Soulmates wasn't something Keiji believed in, for that meant unconditional love, for that meant acceptance and for that suggested embracing his whole nature including the parts he felt ashamed of.

When he saw that your fate was tied to his, Keiji had thus shrugged it off. Ignoring it as if it didn't exist, hoping that it was a mistake of the world to give him such hope. Expecting that you would forget about it soon enough and give up.

"You are lashing out," you told him, not in accusation, nor in disgust. It was a statement, matter of fact and straight to the point. And perhaps that hurt even more than the hurt he did to himself, for it pulled him closer there where he was trying to push you away.

"Whatever, if you want to tell the others go ahead. See if I care."

He claimed he didn't care, but he did just as he feared, his heart clamouring as he hoped you wouldn't but knew he couldn't expect it or demand it. And yet he couldn't stop letting you unravel him.

"What do you think?" you asked him one day, and Keiji wondered if you were joking or genuine.

"Looks great!" he beamed instead, knowing the public and knowing that he didn't want you moody. It was followed by a suggestion that could perhaps improve it, but if he had to be fair it would be easier to start over.

"No, what do you really think?" you urged him, looking him straight in the eyes. The severity of your gaze that day he would never forget as you demanded and coaxed out his truest thoughts, even if he believed them to be revolting.

And here Keiji learnt what you liked. The items your eyes lingered on for longer than a look. The appreciation towards honesty, your frank openness towards him, and the discretion towards the rest. Slowly, Keiji even came to understand that there was acceptance within you as much as there was for himself.

"You don't mind this twisted side of mine?" he asked one day, and you blinked, genuinely dumbfounded at the question posed.

"Twisted?" you had repeated, and Keiji had to struggle a bit to explain what he meant before your lips formed an 'o' and a hand landed on his shoulder, patting the broad expanse.

"There is nothing twisted about you," you told him and Keiji thought that was a lie, but it made him happy to hear it nonetheless.

Later, he would understand that there was indeed nothing twisted about him. Just hurt. A hurt child hiding away and reacting in the only way he had learnt to defend himself. A child that you had accepted and embraced.

"Do you want to talk about it, or just want to be heard?" you offered after a hard day, Keiji's usually boisterous air diminished as a scowl was on his face. He didn't respond as he pulled you into a hug instead. A third option you hadn't offered and an audible sigh could be heard from you as your hands soothed him from the back.

"A hug is fine too," you said, never leaving anything unsaid if you could help it. It earned a sardonic scoff from the man who was still learning how to accept all of the truths and contradictions that could exist within him and you.

You hadn't spoken of your fate tied together yet, but Keiji now believed that perhaps this was something he could allow himself to accept. Just as he knew that you were willing to wait for him to consent.

Surprise!! I hope you’re enjoying my Kinktober works so far just as much as I am! Seeing that I’m managing pretty well with them (to my own surprise as well lol) I think I want to challenge myself in completing all 31 days. Now, there are a lot of gaps between the ~15 requests that I got, and as fun as it is to come up with ideas myself, I thought, why not let you choose them instead?

So, 10 slots open. I’m going to list the 10 prompt days below, and you will choose from them & the available characters. I’ve removed characters that have already been requested in the last batch! You’re still free to add any prompt from the dialogue list, as I don’t mind repetitive ones here. I also expanded the chara choice for Ikesen!

Ikemen Sengoku comforting a MC that is feeling sick

Platonic! MC x suitor

1. Nobunaga Oda :

He calls you to his tenshu and lets you rest near his huge balcony while seeing the stars. Asks you if you're feeling okay or not from time to time. Feeds you konpeito as a reward. Huffs when you don't like them. Whistles in the air for Haguro and demands that he entertain you.

2. Hideyoshi Toyotomi :

Prohibits you from doing any work at all. You have to lay down and rest. Don't worry, your older brother will arrive with a tub of water and a clean cloth to put on your forehead. Cleans up your room as he rambles about Mitsuhide's deeds. Notices you sleeping an hour later.

3. Masamune Date :

Brings his tiger to snuggle with you and to provide you comfort. Makes your favourite dishes and soup. Feeds you soup even though your nose is blocked and you can't taste it very well. Sad boy when you tell him that you're full and can't eat anymore.

(Will you eat sexy eyepatch daddy's cooking? Cause I sure will)

4. Mitsuhide Akechi :

Stops teasing you for once and actually gets serious. Wraps you up in a 100 layers and tells you to sleep like the darling mouse you are. Spies on you to make sure you eat. Threatens to use "unfair means" to tease you to submission if you don't listen to him. Smirks when you make a pouty face.

5. Ieyasu Tokugawa :

Actually knows what to do in this scenario. Gives you the appropriate food and medicine. Let's you braid his hair after you plead with him a million times. You heal quickly thanks to Ieyasu's vast knowledge of medicine. Blushes when you thank him for taking care of you.

6. Mitsunari Ishida :

Clueless boy tries his best. Reads you stories with his soothing voice. Calls Ieyasu for help and gets scolded by Ieyasu. Smiles at you goofily when you tell him to answer Ieyasu back with the same demeanor. Forgets you exist when he starts reading his books.

7. Keiji Maeda :

Tells you to go horseback riding with him or climb a tree with him and gets spanked by Hideyoshi. Tries very hard to come up with a good reasoning for you to climb up a tree and fails. Makes you laugh by saying extremely shitty jokes. Later he tries to climb a tree, sees a snake and pisses his pants.

8. Ranmaru Mori

Brings you peaches and volunteers to massage your shoulders or any area that you feel pain. Gets flustered when you tell him to dance for you. Carries you around if you need to be somewhere and realizes that you still need more rest. Guards you at night even though there are soldiers outside and inside the castle.

9. Kenshin Uesugi :

Tries to "kill" this so called virus which he heard from Sasuke. Goes into big brother mode and chases Shingen away when he comes to flirt with you. Only him, Ume, Take, and Matsu are allowed to visit you. He doesn't want anyone to bother his sister.

10. Shingen Takeda :

Thinks flirting will make you feel well and has clearly never been more wrong in his whole life. Tells the cook to prepare your favourite sweets and hot soup. Wants to feed you but later is withheld by a meeting. Sends you a hairclip as a get well soon gift.

11. Yukimura Sanada :

Tries very hard to not get into a stupid fight with you. Calls you a dummy for falling sick and not taking care of yourself. Is shocked when you start crying and confused when you fall asleep after that. Is very unfamiliar with the concept of "mood swings". Grumbles about it and later gets sick too because he slipped on a banana peel and fell into the castle pond.

12. Sasuke Sarutobi :

His knowledge of modern medicine was immense, but unfortunately there weren't many tools to work with in the Sengoku period. Tries to cheer up his modern day bff with vines and tiktok dances he learnt. Later they both fangirl about Ieyasu and scream. Sasuke is now prohibited from visiting MC's room because he gave her a sore throat from all that laughing.

13. Kanetsugu Naoe :

Can't care more about some rat being sick. He still helps you though, by telling you he has postponed your punishment. It doesn't help much, but you know Kanetsugu is warming up to you. Fangirls about Kenshin to you and later gets caught by Sasuke. He later is seen chasing the ninja throughout the castle.

14. Yoshimoto Imagawa :

Lets you lay your head on his lap as he plays with your hair. Massages your scalp very gently and makes sure everything you need is available. Offers you freshly cut up fruit and chats with you all day long. Surprised to hear that you too have an exquisite eye for clothes and fashion. Wants to go shopping with you someday.

15. Motonari Mouri :

Tells his men to steer the ship a little slowly and barks at anyone who says that the new girl made him weak. Takes you out on the deck to get your mind off your sickness. Cooks for you and scoffs when you tell him he added too much salt. Surprised to see you sleep walking on the deck late at night and asks what were you doing. He remembers being knocked out by someone and wakes up with a bruised nose the very next day.

16. Kicho :

Gives you chocolate which he got from a foreign trader. Happy to see you're all well and smiling now. Offers to give you a bigger room if that is what will make you happy. Clicks his tongue when you tell him that you don't need a bigger room or any fancy treatment. Disgusted when Motonari comes to visit and winks at you saying that it will make you feel better.

17. Kennyo :

Prays for you and for your health. Gives you herbs and advice on how to take care of yourself properly next time. Brews warm tea for you and gives you snacks. Insists you rest up and not care about anything else for the meantime. Will definitely get Ranmaru to dance for you if that is what the situation asked for.

Keiji : Lol heads up if you try to make a candle with food coloring, the food coloring will just sink to the bottom of the glass, and when the flame eventually reaches the bottom all the food coloring will catch fire and become one giant tall flame that you cannot possibly blow out and the glass will start to crack and then you'll throw your tea on it in a panic and then the extremely hot food coloring will boil and sizzle horribly and then the glass will shatter. Mitsuhide is...so incredibly soft. Sometimes when you’re sleeping next to him, he just takes in your beauty and listens to your heartbeat. Knowing you are alive and in his arms, warms his heart more than you could ever know.

He cannot believe that someone who radiates so much love and light would fall for someone like him, but he is eternally grateful that he is blessed enough to have the chance to love you with his entire being.

As much as he teases you, this man LIVES to pamper and please you. Muscle pain after sparring with Kyubei? (Or other activities with Mitsu). Mitsuhide will use his extensive knowledge of the human body to give you the most mindblowing massage you’ve ever had. (And he will equally enjoy hearing your satisfied noises at his touches.)

He is extremely perceptive, especially when it comes to you. If you are upset, or anxious, or in pain, he will know right away without needing to be told and will act accordingly. He may be a secretive person but everyone on the Oda Forces knows just how much “Mitsuhide Akechi adores his wife”. He can’t help it, it just slips out. Whether it’s through his words or his actions, everyone in Azuchi knows he only has eyes for you.

Mitsuhide has the utmost respect for you (he chugs his respect women juice daily) and will consider your opinions on his work a great help. There may be some parts of his job that he isn’t allowed to with you. However, 90% of the time he will tell you everything he’s been doing and will ask for your advice.

Sometimes he feels like you know him even better than he knows himself. And he knows that even if the whole world considers him a murderer and amonster, you will always be there to hold him and remind him that you love him and that he is a hero in your eyes.

Even for him, it’s sometimes too much to handle, and on those days he will come and lay down with you, resting his head on your chest as you stroke his hair and allow him to finally rest. He won’t admit it publicly but, being in your arms feels like the safest place in the world for him. He never thought that he would experience the luxury of having such a place to return to after his battles. A true home.

If you like to cook, you better believe Mitsuhide will eat everything you make, regardless of whether he can taste it or not. (He says he doesn’t need to taste the flavor because he can taste the love you put into it.)

He is known for neglecting his basic needs, and while he has gotten better at it ever since you came into his life, his level of self care is still unacceptable.

However, if you come in and insist he take a break because he’s overworking himself, his heart will absolutely just melt at seeing how much you care about him. (Is it the bare minimum? Yes. Has anyone ever taken care of him like that? No.) He is so starved of love and affection that even the most minor things will melt his heart.

Mitsuhide also loves to tease you, just to see your reactions. It’s incredibly entertaining when he whispers a dirty joke to you and smack his arm because “We are in public Mitsuhide.” It amuses him to no end.

He also loves teasing the others with you, and you two make the best pranking team in Azuchi.

You two have increased Hideyoshi’s migraine levels, but he lets it slide after seeing Mitsuhide look so happy for the first time in his life.

Hideyoshi has never seen Mitsuhide smile like that at anyone before, and he’s just glad Mitsu finally has someone to love and depend on. (Though sometimes he wishes that person was him. We’re not gonna unpack all that right now)

Random Headcannon: Modern AU Mitsuhide would be an amazing dancer. Like Michael Jackson type shit.

Mitsuhide lives to please you and that translates to the bedroom as well. He is a switch through and through, but he could eat you out for hours. (Lying isn’t the only thing he’s good at using his tongue for).

A New Series?

Hi, guys! I actually want to make a series for Ikemen Sengoku called :

200 Nights of Sekigahara

So basically, this story is a retelling of the Battle of Sekigahara but I will use the Ikemen Sengoku characters as the cast, from Nobunaga to the latest Kicho.

Since Nobunaga basically died 20 years before the Battle of Sekigahara broke out, obviously I will change the story and background a little bit why this battle broke out, also I will try to mix characters that actually don't exist at that time such as Mitsuhide, Hideyoshi, Yoshimoto, and others.

This story will focus more on the relationship between Mizusaki Mai (you) and the warlords. But on the other hand, Nobunaga announced that he would step down from the Divine Ruler's Throne. This created division and commotion among the warlords.

Since here we are saying Nobunaga has no descendants or suitable Oda Clan members to take his place, Nobunaga intends to entrust the Divine Ruler's Throne to Ieyasu.

Unluckily, Hideyoshi felt himself more worthy to replace Nobunaga's position than Ieyasu with reasons like he was always there with Nobunaga. What Hideyoshi didn't know was how Nobunaga saw Hideyoshi merely as his right-hand and the person he trusted the most.

The reason Nobunaga chose Ieyasu was because Ieyasu had more significant potential and ability to lead Japan at that time. AND BOOM!!! THE WAR IS BROKE OUT!

I will write about 30 chapters or 30 parts that I wrote based on the chronology of the Battle of Sekigahara itself. From how Uesugi Kagekatsu (whom I would later turn into Uesugi Kenshin) refused Ieyasu's request, to the last chronology when Masamune attempted to besiege Fukushima Castle after the war.

Prompt: Pancakes

Few knew that Keiji Maeda knew how to cook. It was a trait he didn’t reveal to many nor was it something he boasted about. It was just something he did and something he sometimes enjoyed. Even more so now that he had you to share his meals with.

“Pancakes,” you had declared that day. It was a little rainy and a bit chilly, but you had chattered on and on about that one comfort food that the Sengoku so lacked. There had been variations of, but none were the type you had grown up with and loved so well from the modern age.

“They can be thick and fluffy, but also paperthin and filled with all sorts of yummy things!” you excitedly spoke as Keiji handed you the flour and the water you claimed to be in need of. He had remained strangely quiet as he watched your every move, a fond smile on his lips instead of a boisterous one as he watched you whip up a batch of those so called pancakes.

“What’s wrong?” you suddenly questioned, stopping somewhere midway as you blinked at the man. Though you knew him not to be upset, even while he was quiet. The air of serenity and the shimmer in his eyes confirmed this all the more. For once Keiji allowed himself to enjoy in quiet contentment as he stared at you, head tilting to the side as he smirked.

“Just admiring the sight,” he tells you, the tail of his hair falling over to the other shoulder while he sat himself near the fire, making sure to keep the stove on for you as he seated himself into a more comfortable position to watch you. “It feels warm,” he added to it and you grimaced in return.

“It feels like home!” you exclaimed firmly and to this the man had to think for a bit before agreeing, deciding that, if there was any definition to be attached to home and family, this might actually be it.

“Though,” and here his smile grew a little mischievous as he got up from his spot, sweeping you into his arms from behind, “I rather warm you this way,” he told you and that surely did heat you up on a rainy day. With his arms wrapped around you and his chest against your back there was very little room to where the chill could remain.

“This is nice,” you said, content to be in his arms and content with the way the pancakes had turned out. It was warm and nourishing and homely. It was a sweet way to chase away the youthful spring chill with.
