"I Promised ... I Promised!"
Double Episode Post
Thursday 1st April 2021 - Friday 2nd April 2021
Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a brilliant Easter Weekend! Today is going to be another double episode post in an attempt to catch up! I know there's a lot to discuss, but first I want to give a shout out to @estimebongu98 for sending me some brilliant EastEnders related questions to answer over the weekend, can't thank you enough for reaching out and asking me some opinions on your favourite storyline! If anyone else feels happy enough to send me a message then please feel free!
Anyway back to the matter in hand, the first thing I want to mention is Iqra and Mila. Kim appears to be doing everything she can to get her new business aspect into the public eye. She is completely convinced that she's managed to get couples together, such as Peter & Ash and Iqra & Mila. After getting a photographer to the Prince Albert to take photos of her and hear her story, Kim calls Iqra over, claiming that she's needed urgently. Poor Iqra is clueless about Kim's actual actions. Iqra is understandably confused and a little irritated by Kim's actions when she arrives - technically Iqra and Mila aren't even a couple as of yet and Kim is claiming that she's brought them together!
After some persuasion, Iqra agrees to do an interview for Kim's business, and even happens to volunteer Mila so they end up doing it together, at first Mila isn't too keen but then agrees. What harm could it do it really? Well, as Iqra gets herself dolled up for the interview it seems that they'll also be getting their pictures taken also, getting in front of the camera, Kim instructs Iqra to do all these sorts of poses, but to no avail. As Mila enters, Iqra is visibly happy to see her appear, they both acknowledge how pretty the other one looks. But suddenly as the photographer takes pictures of them without their knowledge, Mila seems pretty adamant that he deletes the picture! Her attitude almost completely changes, much to Iqra's surprise! The photographer unfortunately refuses to delete it, claiming that the natural pictures are the best, but poor Mila almost demands him to get rid of the picture. This really intrigued me though, there's obviously a reason for her not wanting pictures taken, why does it bother her so much?! What is her story?!
Later, Iqra seems to think that it's her fault that Mila left so quickly! However Kim seems to put her at ease, if she's so eager to get to know Mila more and understand why she left, then she needs to reach out to her and call her. Kim insists that she can sense they have feelings for each other, and if there's any truth in it, she encourages Iqra to act on her feelings. Eventually Iqra catches up with Mila and to be fair, she's pretty straight with her from the beginning, she admits that she likes her but also claims that she's fearful of being in the same situation as she was with Ash, asking herself whether she had done anything wrong and informs Mila that she can't go back to being like that. It's then that Mila admits that Iqra has done nothing wrong and she actually happens to like her too - now this is where Mila finally opens up and we learn a lot more about her - she admits that Mila isn't in fact her real name. She explains that she first realised she was gay when she was a teenager but when she told her family about having feelings for a girl, they laughed in her face and ended up throwing her out - simply because her family didn't "believe" in it! It's sad to realise that Mila has basically disowned by her family simply because of her sexual orientation. Of course Iqra is deeply sympathetic and apologises for dragging her into the interview, but Mila claims it's not her fault - how could she have known?! But with Iqra appreciating Mila being open and honest with her, could this seriously be a new relationship on the cards for the two ladies?!
--
The next thing I have to mention is Bobby! After a horrendous first date a little while back, Bobby is determined to get himself back out there, unfortunately it is under a completely different name, considering he changed his name on his dating app, in fear of people finding out who he really is and finding out about his past. I love how dressed up he's gotten for the occasion, and it looks as if both Kathy and Kim try to give him some advice - which I have to say was a brilliant scene!
Going completely off track they begin to discuss men's flaws, just as Bobby is sitting there between them listening to everything they tell him. You just have to laugh and say "Poor Bobby!" as his Nan and neighbour discuss the different things that men do to women. Just to make him feel that little more awkward, Kathy urges him that if he's just meeting his date for sex then make sure she doesn't end up getting pregnant. Poor Bobby is traumatised and claims he hasn't even met the poor girl yet! In a way, I guess it was Kathy's version of the "Birds And The Bees" story for Bobby!
However, taking his Nan's advice, feeling a little insecure, Bobby visits the Minute Mart and purchases a packet of condoms - much to Suki's amusement, which of course leaves him feeling just a little bit more insecure as he rushes out of the shop. All I have to say about the matter is, why do men find it embarrassing for purchasing condoms? Buying condoms and sanitary products should not be embarrassing, they are a part of every day life and it should be normalised for people to buy the items without feeling any kind of awkwardness or embarrassment. Please tell me you guys agree?!
Eventually, Bobby makes it to his date and things appear to be going well. Only the first thing that grabbed my attention was that Dana admitted that she has no sense of taste or smell and that her Dad believed she may have caught Covid-19, but she never took a test to make sure. After all that Bobby has been through trying to make sure himself and his family are safe from the virus, would it be mad for me to suggest that Bobby could end up catching the virus from Dana?! I'm sure you'll remember he was almost religiously washing his hands and cleaning surfaces. What if after all that caution, he catches Coronavirus from his date?!
Also it appears that Dana is calling Bobby by the name "Rob" - of course this is the name he changed his profile to. Is this going to be some kind of alter ego for Bobby? Only because I happened to notice how confident he looked during his date, he didn't seem nervous as the previous one and he didn't stumble over his words. Could this give Bobby some kind of comfort blanket in a way? If he can't be Bobby for his date's, he could be "Rob" instead? It's an interesting thought - maybe I am getting a little carried away, but I think with his past it would make complete sense. What do you think?! It's fair to say that "Rob" has a successful date as reveals she likes him and would like to see him again!
--
The next thing I have to mention is Frankie and Mick! After the events of the previous day, she voices her concerns to Linda, claiming that it was a bad idea for her to move into the Vic. However, Linda insists that Mick needs her a lot more than they realise, she claims that once Mick has been to court and spoken out about his abuse, he'll be proud to call Frankie his daughter! Meanwhile Mick appears to have his meeting with his support worker and it's here that he's informed that 4 other men have come forward reporting that they are also victims of Katy.
Understandably, Mick is completely thrown back by this, he is completely stunned and overwhelmed by the news, especially after admitting that he's trying to make things work with Frankie, considering she's his daughter. It needs to be pointed out that it's not Frankie's fault what her Mother did, she is also a victim just like Mick. Why should Mick have to hide her identity, I mean I understand he doesn't feel ready for people and his neighbours to know about his abuse, but why should Frankie have to suffer?! He clearly wants to have a relationship with her, but he does appear to be finding it hard.
As he gets home he informs both Frankie and Linda about what he's learnt, devastatingly his concerns get the better of him and he admits he doesn't think he can stand up in court. Does Frankie maybe feel like she is in some way to blame? Is she the reason why he won't stand up in court? She eventually finds herself at McKlunky's and Stuart spots her from the other side of the room. In an attempt of giving her a peace offering, he places some chicken in front of her, Frankie is clearly spooked - especially after the way he treated her last time he approached her. But Stuart is calm, collected and kind and informs her that for a brief moment, the way she looked reminded him of how Mick looked as a kid. This seems to really move Frankie and she begins to listen to Stuart. He informs her that Mick is going through this court case simply for her, even though he's struggling. He tells her that she kind of needs to meet him in the middle and try and support him, do something in return for him to help him cope with the court case, gently placing a brown paper bag in front of her, he claims a nice sugary treat would help Mick.
It looks as if Stuart's words play on Frankie's mind, she returns home with the sugary treat from Stuart, placing it on a lovely tray with a cup of tea and portrays it in front of Mick. Of course it's a really sweet gesture - no pun intended - but what touches Mick more than anything is when Frankie reveals she'll go to the police and willingly give them a sample of her DNA, to prove that she is Mick's daughter, to also prove that he has been sexually abused by Katy, which would help his case! As much I am hoping this will help, I do fear that maybe the DNA test won't come back as the result we're all hoping for?! What do you guys think?!
--
The next subject on the cards is Sharon! So, we know she's eager to pursue a new business opportunity for the sake of her son, Albie. She wants something that she will be able to provide for him in the future. Now I know I previously asked the question regarding the building she's found once belonged to Ronnie?! (Considering the name on the front of the building!) - but I noticed that Sharon claims it's an unused gym, can anyone remind me when Ronnie ever ran a gym in Walford?! I simply have no recollection of that!
Anyway, she once again approaches Peter, suggesting that she wants to run a gym with him by her side. She would be the main manager and he could be the head coach or personal trainer for their clients. At first, Peter claims that he's a "Freelance" personal trainer and he's happy how things are for now. But as soon Sharon mentions that it must be nice to have a partner who's a doctor and pays all the bills, Peter seems to agree. Even for him, this could be a brilliant career opportunity?!
However, I have to admit this next section got me really confused. Ben and Kheerat appear to lingering as they're discussing where to melt the gold bars that Vinny got his hands on. Kheerat suggests it needs to be somewhere subtle, like the Arches, but Ben is insistent that Arches cannot be the place. From across the Square, he notices Sharon putting in an offer for the abandoned building, I guess it's fair to say that Ben isn't Sharon's biggest fan - but what is she wanting to buy a gym got anything to do with him?! Maybe it's just me but I don't understand why he's interfering, and what's even worse - it appears he's dragging Kheerat into it too!
Kheerat appears to be the friendly neighbour, almost fishing for information and what's she's up to, Sharon explains that she's moving on with life after a horrendous year but just after she's put in an offer for the building, an unknown source happens to make a bigger offer, it looks as if her new business aspect is crumbling to pieces before it's already begun, but interestingly Kheerat suggests she adds on another £500 to her offer which overrules the other offer being considered. Is Ben the one who made the offer, just to get more money out of Sharon? Do the Panesar's actually hold the lease of the building and is that why Kheerat and Ben want the building as a place to melt the gold?! I have no idea, but something just doesn't add up for me, something really suspicious is going on and I can't quite work out what yet!
--
Finally the final day of Stacey's freedom has come - the day that all the Slater family have been dreading. After Lily's fall down the stairs, obviously everyone seems to be concerned for the youngster as she appears unconscious at the bottom of the stairs, but when the paramedics suggest that taking her to the hospital might give them some idea as to what's happened, Lily jumps into action claiming that she's actually okay! As everyone realises that Lily is fine, her parents decide to take her to one side to try and understand why she threw herself down the stairs.
Both Martin and Stacey listen as the youngster claims that she was trying to save her family, save her Mum from going to prison and it was also an attempt to stop the arguing so everyone would get along, if she was to get badly injured, they would have to put aside their differences for her sake. Both Martin and Stacey are shocked to hear the lengths their daughter would go through just to keep her family together. Almost as a cry for help, she pleads her Dad to do something to help stop her Mum going to prison!
Trying to do the best for his children, Martin tries to have a word with Ruby to try and make her understand she needs to change her plea, but once again Ruby lies!!!! She even lies about lying - claiming that she already tried to speak to the police about changing her statement but she was too late. She's still lying about Stacey pushing her and causing the loss of their child and plus she's also lying about contacting the police - ooo Ruby truly is the Queen of Lies isn't she?! I really don't understand why, but as Stacey puts it perfectly, Ruby is terrified about that fact that Martin still actually loves her and will do anything to keep him, even if it means sending her to prison for something she hasn't. As much as this breaks Stacey, she admits the only reason she's pleading guilty is that she'll only receive 6 months in prison and the sooner she's done her sentence, the sooner she'll be out for her kids. Stacey's words seem to hit home to Martin, does he still love Stacey?! I truly think there's a part of him that always will - she is the Mother of his children at the end of the day!
As Stacey enjoys the last few hours with her children, watching them play about in the gardens, she informs her Mum about all their routines, what not to feed them and what appointments they have coming up in the week. Everything seems to become all to real for Jean, she stares at her daughter longing and informs her how amazing she is, being so brave for her children. Jean gives Stacey her word and promises to look after her children until she's back. As time goes on, it gets later and later and eventually Stacey's time with her children runs out, saying her last goodbyes, drawing hearts on her children's hands to show that they're all a team, Stacey says one last goodbye to Lily and her Mum. As both Martin and Ruby watch from across the Square, Stacey walks away in tears and heads for prison.
The following day, poor Jean is struggling to cope with all the young ones running about, trying to make them food which they are refusing to eat because it hasn't been prepared right. Lily keeps herself occupied by making a version of Ruby out of toast. I guess you could say that Lily sees Ruby as the "Wicked Step-Mum!", which you can perfectly understand! As Lily continues to keep herself to herself, later on in the day Jean notices her with a packet of biscuits and questions what she's doing with them, Lily then admits that she wanted to cheer her Nan up by making her an "Afternoon Tea", recalling that Stacey had one planned for her ages ago but she couldn't attend because she was ill, so she wanted to do one in the house for her instead.
Poor Jean is completely overwhelmed by her Grand-Daughter's kindness, excitedly she runs out to get sandwiches and cakes for the occasion, happily stating that they all make a really good team. As Jean hurries out, from under the kitchen table, Lily pulls out a huge luggage bag filled with clothes and discreetly packs the packet of biscuits. My first initial thought was "Oh god, Lily is going to run away!" - but of course Lily is much more smarter than that. Of course this idea of an Afternoon Tea was just to get her Nan out of the house while she put her plan into place.
After returning home from lunch, Martin and Ruby and shocked to find his 3 children standing outside their front door with a huge suitcase. Lily's acting suspiciously upset, informing her Dad that she misses her Mum and her Nan is getting stressed with everything and she pleaded if she could stay with her Daddy. At first Ruby tries to be polite, informing the children that they can come a visit anytime, considering that they are just across the road, but Martin realises he can't leave his children out on the street and invites them all in to stay. As little Hope and Arthur rush in with excitement, Lily's attitude completely changes towards Ruby, informing her that she didn't expect that reaction! Ruby is completely stunned by the girl's attitude, but I have to say I felt completely sorry for Jean as she came home, hands filled with party food and balloons to entertain the children, sadly she notices the note left on the kitchen table for her, at first she thinks it's all a joke, but when she realises the house is completely empty, she looks completely and utterly lost, I just wanted to hold her and give her the biggest hug I could and tell her everything is okay!
But I do also have to say - YES!!!!! GO LILY!!!! It looks as if Lily is going to make Ruby's life a nightmare for putting her Mum in prison, and honestly, I think Ruby knows it! But what is she going to do about it? She's not going to be able to convince Martin that Lily is trying to ruin her life, I doubt he'd even believe her, he'll end up using the excuse that Lily is simply missing her Mum and is lashing out. I am super excited to see what happens next. Thank you all for reading, I apologise this post being so late, but thank you all for your patience! Please feel free to leave me any messages or comments, I'll always reply! Thanks again everyone! Love you all xXx

"I'm Taking Ben With Me!"
Tuesday 17th November 2020
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all doing okay! Now this the episode that the majority of us have been anxiously waiting for! Is the robbery going to be a success? Or is something going to go horribly wrong and someone gets caught? I'm really looking forward to writing about this episode, something tells me it's going to be gripping and explosive!
The episode begins with Phil, Shirley, Ben, Kat and Kush all arriving at the Insurance building to make a start on their robbery. Phil instructs the group that he wants things to be over as quickly as possible, it makes sense that they shouldn't be there for as long as they specifically have to! He makes it perfectly clear they need to be in and out, end of! Kat informs them that the security guard won't be there until 8am, which really should leave them plenty of time! But then again is it 8am or 8pm? Who knows? I'm sure that will come to light as the episode goes on. They quickly go off in separate directions - Ben and Phil together, Shirley and Kat together and then Kush.
Ooooh, meanwhile back on the Square, Ian enters the Vic after calling the police about the robbery. The look on his face looks like guilt to me - maybe even dismay, jealousy, shock - maybe all of them rolled into one? Max once again calls out to him as he's sat in a booth, as to whether he's got the money to pay him back - Ian ignores him and turns around to see Sharon behind the bar approaching him, asking him where he had been, he ignores her also and makes his way upstairs of the Vic. Max and Linda giggle as they think he's giving everyone the silent treatment because of their actions earlier in the day, sneaking behind the bar and giving out free booze! As they giggle about Ian, Max is looking through Linda's portfolio of her idea of making superhero costumes for autistic children. Sharon watches them as they seem to get cosy. Max is complimenting Linda's work and pushing her to go for her new business plan, even though Linda admits she can't afford it, even if she did want to go ahead with it. Max then asks whether Mick knows, but Linda bows her head and admits that she hasn't told him yet, considering he's been going through a lot lately, she feels perhaps this isn't the right time to be informing him about her new idea. Max looks at her almost with sympathy, but it does look as if he's contemplating something - will he somehow give her the money to start her business? Will he end up helping her set it up? What do you guys think?!
Across the Square, Tina has packed her suitcase after overhearing Iqra and Ash talking about her moving out. She tries to reassure them that their decision is fine and that she completely understands, Iqra appears to be really sympathetic and Ash apologises for her finding out the way she did. When they ask where she's going to stay, Tina jokingly says "The park bench seems free!" - they look at her with shocked expressions but she reassures them that she'll be okay. But in all seriousness, where is she going to go? It's not like she can go back to the Vic, will Gray maybe take her in as he has with Shirley? Could she go and stay with Mick and Linda for a while until she finds her own place? I'd hate to see her be homeless!
At the police station, DI Thompson is playing the recording of Phil and Kat discussing their robbery, whilst Callum is also in the room hearing the discussion. Thompson pushes for Callum to inform him about what he knows, but Callum insists that that is the first time he's heard anything about it, he even insists that Ben wouldn't tell him anything like that! Thompson begins to get frustrated until a fellow officer rushes in telling them that they've had an anonymous tip-off about a robbery and the culprits disguised as cleaners. Thompson knows that that is where Phil and Ben are, he instructs Callum that no matter how he does it, he wants someone arrested! Callum begins to panic and we see him send a message to his boyfriend, warning him to get out of the building! But back at the Insurance company, Ben, Phil and Kush have found the parking lot with the expensive cars, Ben and Phil work separately on different cars whilst Kush stands and watches - he questions how he can help in any way, but they just inform him not to touch anything. Kush watches with a (quite a cute) smile - must be the adrenaline!
Returning to the Vic, Ian is starring into space, almost in a world of his own. Are the events of his actions running through his mind? Does he actually realise he's put his brother and his Dad in danger? Does he feel no shame or dismay?! As he sits alone, Lexi is stood in the doorway and calls him a "Snake!" - which takes Ian completely by surprise. I love little Lexi, she's such a superstar! She informs her Uncle that that is what her Dad calls him. As she continues to insult her Uncle further, Kathy appears and informs she'll be taking Lexi home shortly. As Lexi disappears, Kathy informs her son that she's come deliver his mail, Ian appears thankful to his Mother, she informs him that not everyone is against him, even though it must feel like it right now. She then shows him that one specific later that came was the first payment of the Cafe remortgage is due, suddenly Ian's face drops as his Mum asks him to take care of it, he then sheepishly asks her whether she can pay for it for the month and he'll start to pay from the following month. Kathy instantly looks really disappointed in her son, she questions whether that was his plan from the very beginning, put her into debt and then her be the one to pay it all back. Ian insists that that isn't the case and tries to explain that he needs a few weeks to sort things out - I think that Ian has got himself into something he can't control, he can't pay Max back, he can't pay his Mum back, he can't even pay for the remortgage payments. I think he's on a big downward spiral. Kathy refuses to pay for it and tells her son that it's on his shoulders, but just as she turns to walk away, Ian starts acting like a child and saying that she would do it for Ben - so he is! He's jealous of his brother! Is that it?! - He claims that Ben is the Golden Boy and can do no wrong, but when he drops the insult that she's an unpaid baby-sitter, Kathy hits back! She informs her son that she actually doesn't want paying to look after her granddaughter, because that's what families do!!! That's what Grandparents do! You'd think by now that Ian would understand the concept of "Family" instead of always focusing on money. Kathy states that she would've hoped that Ian would've had a conscience after everything he's done, but it looks like he well and truly hasn't got one!
Back at the parking lot in the Insurance building, Phil and Ben are attempting to jump-start the cars. Ben appears to get his car going pretty quickly as Phil is struggling with the wires of his car. Ben looks over and queries whether his Dad is having problems, but Phil is adamant he's almost got it working. Kush then asks whether he could help, but Phil insists that his only role is to get the gate open when they're ready to leave, but Kush checks they only have 40-odd minutes remaining. Kush makes the valid point that getting the gate open will only take him 5 minutes, Phil then passes Kush the crowbar, instructing him to get the last car working. As he does so, Kush once again gives Phil an excited smile, I do feel it must've been the adrenaline rush of the possibility of doing a successful robbery and the chance of getting a good amount of money at the end of it. Phil laughs and comments that the job they're doing now is much better than selling boob-tubes!
Returning to the Square and at the Prince Albert, Tina walks in with her suitcase to find Kathy drinking on her own. As she joins her, Kathy notices that she has her luggage with her, she informs the poor girl that she can't sleep in the bar again. Tina then comes to the realisation she'll have to bunk up with Shirley again. It's then that Kathy responds to her by telling her that she has family who care about her, Tina can see that Kathy is upset about something and asks what's wrong. Now whether it's the drink that causes her to spill the beans or whether she just needs someone to talk to, Tina pours her another glass of wine and promises not to say a word to anyone, Kathy confides in her colleague about Ian committing fraud by forging her signature and re-mortgaging the Café, much to Tina's shock.
Back at the Vic, as Ian quickly sneaks out into the back in the background, Sharon is at the front and appears to be on the phone to a solicitor, she's informing them that she's knows what is owed to her and what Phil's solicitor is offering can think again about their offer. Ahhh, it's all coming to light now! Max has approached Bobby and is trying to convince him to change the age on his leaflet, and the only reason that Max has done that is so Linda can apply for her business idea. Bobby seems doubtful at first as his thought process is that his sister would want the opportunity to go to someone who was her age, but Max tries to push him to change the age limit, as that way there would be more applications from older ladies. Bobby asks Sharon for her advice, seeing as she and Max are both trustees for Bobby's charity, and she voices her opinion - on what good it'll do for Max? But he insists he's just doing right with a business attitude. Suddenly Linda appears and asks them what she's missed and when she realises that Bobby has agreed to change the age limit on his applicants, Max smiles at her and Linda instantly knows that he's done that for her. She thanks him for helping her and she starts to wonder how she'll make a start on her new business plan, however she needs to send in the application first - what if she's not successful?! She's getting in a bit over her head isn't she? Well Max also?! Or is it written in the stars - she'll apply and she'll get the money to start her new business. Max encourages Linda to call her husband and tell him the good news, however she seems reluctant to do so. As Max approaches the bar to get them another drink, Sharon confronts him head on - she knows what he's up to and warns him to stay away from her, even though Max plays dumb, Sharon can see right through him and warns him that she is her best mate and doesn't want her ruining her marriage to Mick, she doesn't want their marriage ending in divorce - she states that Mick and Linda are meant for each other. Max tries to reassure the blonde vixen that he and Linda are just friends, so she has nothing to worry about. But Sharon gives him one last warning, she'll be watching him from a distance!
Back at the parking lot, Kush successfully manages to break into the car, he seems so proud of himself and so excited, once he knows that he has managed to get into the car, Phil sets things in motion, for them to get into their cars ready to driver off and he instructs Kush to get the gate open. However, when Kush goes over the gate and types in the code, nothing happens. He tries for a second time and once again, nothing happens - has Kat given them the wrong code?! Or is he simply putting in the wrong code?! I don't know whether you guys noticed but the final digit of the code looks like either the number 6 or the letter B (In lower case) - Kush only types in the number 6, something is telling me that he's simply typing it in wrong and it actually is the lower-case B. But I could be wrong, maybe Kat has got the code wrong. Kush looks over to Phil and Ben in a slight realisation of panic that they might not be able to get out. Meanwhile, Kat and Shirley are trying their best to clean the offices, well Kat is however, whereas Shirley is being typical Shirley and is casually sat whilst Kat does all the work. As Kat asks her to make more of an effort, Shirley declines and Kat is quick to announce that she's done good when it's come to the robbery plan. Suddenly, a member of staff comes into the office and finds her and Shirley there.
Ian has found his way into the restaurant and appears to be in such dismay he throws a stash of paperwork all over the floor. As he does so, Suki walks in and see the state he's left the restaurant in, as she approaches him, Ian makes it clear to her that he doesn't want her in the restaurant. However, Suki is quick to make a proposition for him, she informs him about her plans for the Slater household and with him being a member of the council, she thinks he can help get her application get the attention she's wanting. In return she will give him £10,000! Ian is left stunned by her offer and tells her that he's actually not to be bought, but in his desperate need for money, will he take her up on her offer? It may just be the only way to get the money he needs to pay people back with. But of course, that would mean even more trouble for Slater's, once they find out that Ian helped Suki with her plan, he'll only have a few more people out to get him! Something tells me this whole situation isn't going to end well for Ian! What do you guys think?!
Back at the Insurance building, Shirley and Kat are in a blind panic as they're trying to get rid of the gentleman that's walked in on them. Shirley pushes Kat to try and get rid of him. They very subtly and quickly leave the man in the room as he appears to get distracted by sirens approaching the building from outside. Downstairs in the parking lot, Phil is frantic for Kush to get the gate open, Ben quickly notifies Kush that the police are approaching and Kush finally realises that he's been putting the code in wrong, finally he manages to put the code in correctly and franticly, Kat and Shirley dash towards the cars as Phil is shouting for them to get going. Kat pleads to Kush to come with them and leave the one car on it's own, but he's adamant he can do it! As Ben and Shirley drive ahead, the police are gathering outside the building, Kush is frantically trying to get his car to start as Kat begs him to just leave it and go with them. Phil shouts at Kat that they need to move quickly before they get nicked, Kat takes one last look at Kush and simply just says "I'm sorry!" before getting in the car with Phil and leaving him behind.
Kush is absolutely stunned that she's just left him to face the police alone. Callum arrives outside and manages to see Ben leave the scene in his car, only when Phil follows in his car, DI Thompson sees him very clearly and instructs his fellow police officers to go after him. He then instructs Callum to go into the parking lot to see if there is anyone else about. Unfortunately Kush is still struggling to get his car to work, Callum comes face-to-face with Kush and tells him to simply exit the car peacefully as police forces are surrounded everywhere, there is no easy way for him to get out of this now. Kush realises he's backed into a corner, he does everything Callum instructs him to do, only he decides to quickly make a run for it! Callum quickly dashes after him and follows him into a room on the third floor of the building. Kush attempts to hide, Callum comes into the room and spots Kush's reflection, however what he does next is a very interesting thing, he informs his boss that Kush actually got away, much to Kush's relief. When Callum shuts the door, making Kush think he's left the room, Kush attempts to make his escape but is surprised to see Callum still standing there. For a moment, I truly did think Callum was going to let Kush go, but instead he insists on arresting him. Kush begs to let him, but when Callum states he can't simply do that, Kush makes one last threat - if Kush is going to be sent down for this burglary, then he's going to make sure that Ben does to!
Ooooooo what is Callum going to do?! Is he going to let Kush off the hook so he can protect Ben? Will the police catch up with Ben and Phil?! What does this mean for Kat and Kush's relationship?! This has been a brilliant episode to watch, really gripping! I don't think I've seen one as gripping as this for a while! I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens next! What are your thoughts on this episode? What do you think will happen next?! I'd love to hear your thoughts, please feel free to comment or message me, I'll always find the time to reply! Thank you so much for reading! I'll be back again very soon to see what the aftermath of this robbery will be! Love you all xXx

"I Think That's It!"
Thursday 14th January 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope your week is going well so far, I'm really looking forward to reviewing today's episode! I feel there's a lot of emotion and drama going on in the soap right now, still so many secrets and lies to be exposed! I do believe that a new EastEnders trailer has gone out, I have say it looks absolutely brilliant, very exciting with confrontations between Frankie and Mick and then Ash and Suki!! Ooooo it's all going to kick off!! I'm really looking forward to seeing what's due to happen within the next couple of episodes! But back to this episode, I won't waste anymore of your time and jump straight into it!
Okay, so there's a few things I want to talk about. The first thing I'll mention first is Iqra! I do get the feeling that her relationship with Ash is kind of on the rocks, they seem to be disagreeing on things a lot. Plus Ash seems to have a big interest in Peter all of a sudden! During the scene where Iqra and Ash are sat alone in the Cafe, Peter enters and no surprise, Suki follows after a while. However as Iqra and Ash make themselves scares after Suki makes a comment on them staying up too late the night before, did anyone notice that she implied that she and Peter had slept together?! Peter orders himself a drink, to which to interrupts and offers to pay for it, telling him to enjoy his drink - to which she made a disgusting comment that she "Enjoyed" her time with him the previous night! Firstly - Ewwwww! - I don't know what your opinion is on Peter and Suki, but personally, I really don't like it! But I do have a feeling that Iqra is going to have another love interest soon! - The new girl at the Prince Albert - Mila! If she is going to become a regular character and we're going to see more of her, I think it would be nice to give her a storyline. We've already seen her beat Kim to win a job at the Albert, also seen her chatting up Frankie, and now she's been introduced to Iqra. What's not to say that Iqra and Mila begin get grow a close bond and eventually fall for one another? It would be nice to see Iqra in a happy relationship, as I feel right now, she's not happy with Ash. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this possible theory?!
The second thing I want to talk about is the Carter's. Shirley is determined to find her little sister, much to Gray's frustration and panic. Before Mick arrives to accompany her to the police station regarding her attack on Katy, Shirley makes a call, which is later to be revealed as one of Tina's friends, as she desperately tries to search for her sister. As she does so, Gray is looking even more worried, for his own sake. He tries to convince her not to make any calls to Tina as it will makes things look bad on Tina as well as Shirley herself! Later when Shirley and Mick arrive back from the police station, they both inform Linda that Katy isn't going to press charges on Shirley for her attack. (Deep down I'm thinking it's because she doesn't want her own crimes being revealed!) But it's during this moment, when Mick and Linda begin to fret that Tina still hasn't been in touch with any of them, Shirley reveals to them that she actually received a text from Tina, informing them that she actually had attacked Ian. Instantly, things don't make sense to the Carter family, they believe that what the message is saying isn't true. But Mick makes the valid point that even if they don't believe it, they have no proof to show that she actually is innocent. It's then that Linda takes a huge gamble and requests to speak to Max. Since Linda ended their fling, Max has been down in the dumps and moping ever since. So when he gets a message from Linda asking that they talk, he goes round to her apartment when no one else is around. She informs Max that she's sorry for the way she treated him, but regardless of sticking by her husband, she does still care for him and treasures his friendship. But she then turns the subject onto more important matters and informs him that she's worried about Tina, even though that Tina has sent them a message almost admitting to attacking Ian, the only way to prove that it wasn't her was to give the police the weapon. Now we all know that the weapon used to attack Ian was the blue Lucy Beale Award, which Max ended up stealing and burying in an attempt to save Linda. The big thing here is, is that Linda is basically asking him to give up the weapon to put Tina out of the frame, but I don't think she realises that it could make Max look guilty of attacking Ian instead, and Max makes a very valid point here, even though he cares deeply for Linda, he refuses to go back to prison for anyone! Why should he also help her family after what's happened between him and Linda? I get Linda is just trying to help her family, but honestly - I think she needs to find another way, approaching Max is the wrong way to go about it.
Thirdly, let's talk about Martin and Ruby, shall we?! When we first see them, Martin appears to have gotten off the phone to, I'm assuming, Sonia or Bex, and he happily informs his wife that he's going to be going away to see his daughter. Ruby has a face like thunder, she is clearly unhappy and as soon as Martin tells her his plans, she has the audacity lie once again to him to reminding him that she's pregnant. I hate to say it but I loved the way Martin responded with "I didn't think I'd have to ask your permission to see my daughter!". Ruby states that since she's told her husband about her pregnancy, he hasn't shown her the slightest bit of interest, however Martin puts on a front saying that he's happy that she's carrying his child, but as he leaves the room, we can see that he still doesn't feel right about it. However, later on Martin bumps into Sharon with little Albie in the park. As they begin talking, Martin reveals to her that Ruby is pregnant, even though it wasn't planned. As she congratulates him, he questions how show manages to cope, knowing that her son Albie was born on the same day she lost her other son, and also happens to mention that he never thought he'd see the day when she and Ian would be married. It's at this point when Sharon has to put on a front and basically lies to Martin, informing that even though it wasn't the future or family that she had planned, somehow it works for her. Her words must play on Martin's mind though, as later, returning to Ruby, she's alone in the house and reaches for a bottle of wine from the shelf, only to be interrupted by the front door opening, she quickly puts it back. Martin enters and comes with a peace offering, he reveals he has bought some baby items such as a baby grow, little boots and a teddy and informs his wife that she'll make an incredible Mum. Ruby seems completely overwhelmed by his surprise baby gifts, but the realisation sinks in when she realises she has to pregnant fast, before Martin becomes suspicious! What on Earth will she do? Could she convince Martin to sleep with her? Or would she have to take extreme measures and get pregnant by somebody else?!
The next thing I want to talk about is Sheree and Patrick. Trying to avoid the situation which is happening with her husband, Sheree is keeping herself busy at the salon. Cleaning things making everything look absolutely spotless, regardless of the fact that her first client isn't due for a long while. Suddenly Stacey and Jean enter, announcing that it's Jean's birthday and she's eager to get rid of the dark eyebrows that Mo has applied for her. Sheree takes it upon herself to help Jean out and stating that she has all the time in the world to help her. During Jean's time in the salon, Kim steps in and confronts Sheree about not visiting Patrick in the hospital after his stroke, she states that if she doesn't step up she'll be disowned by family. Jean witnesses this confrontation and sees the devastating look in Sheree's eyes, she takes it upon herself to console the poor woman and informs her that families can be hard to talk to if they don't understand the upset and hurt you're feeling. It's then that Jean begins to tell Sheree all about Daniel and his aspect of life, regardless of knowing he was dying from cancer, he lived every day to the full and didn't let it get him down, he was strong and was right up until the very end. I believe it's these words which really hit home for Sheree, after Jean's wise words, she rushes to the hospital to be at her husbands bedside. Meanwhile poor Patrick has been asking Isaac for his wife, even questioning why he's there when she should be at school - however what Isaac says really moves me, "I have to be here for my Dad!" - Is this the first time he ever called Patrick "Dad"? Even so, it was so moving, the look in both of their eyes was so warm. Eventually Sheree arrives at the hospital, Patrick is happy to see her but also informs her that he doesn't want her to be his carer, as that was not what she signed up for when they got married - however, Sheree informs her husband that she won't be going anywhere, she's going to remain at his side during this knock back in his health, but informs him that he will be taking all the medication he needs and following the doctors instructions.
Now, I've mentioned her already but I need to talk about Jean, we need to talk about Jean. I've said it before and I've said it again, what an absolutely inspirational woman! Regardless of coming to terms with her own personal situation, she's still wanting to help out everyone around her, previously it was Dotty and Iqra, today it was Sheree. I have to be honest, I absolutely LOVED the fact that she talked about Daniel again, even though he was such a small part of the soap, his role was very very important and he plays such a huge part in Jean's life, we need to make sure he's not forgotten, and Jean continuing to talk about him is just perfect, even if it is quite sad. After getting her eyebrows fixed and getting dressed up in another gorgeous dress (She's been wearing some stunning dresses recently!) she begins to record a video of herself. At first, I know it sounds silly, but I genuinely thought she was doing a video for Daniel, even though he wouldn't be able to see it, I just thought it would've been a way for her to still kind of talk to him, if you get what I mean? But as she continued the video and talking to the camera, I think it became clear that the video she was recording is actually intended for Stacey and the rest of the family. In the video, she announces that devastatingly that she feels in herself that the cancer has returned, even though she hasn't had it confirmed, she can feel it. Not only does she announce this but she also states that she's taken the drastic decision not to have treatment this time around, she wants to live the rest of her life to the full and be just like Daniel. She doesn't want the family to worry and to accept her decision. I did find this very emotional to watch, I mentioned this in my previous post but I can't applaud Gillian Wright enough for her performance as Jean, she is absolutely incredible actress. The only thing that plays on my mind though however is that, I would be incredibly devastated if they were to kill her off. Jean has been such a breath of fresh air in EastEnders, even during her absolute lowest moments, everyone loves her and wants her to fight through the toughest times. I truly believe that the Slater family will be lost without her, the whole Square would be lost without Jean - Oh I love her so much!
I know there are plenty of storylines happening at the moment, and with the recent trailer which has been released, I can't wait to see it all unfold. But Jean's storyline is the one that really going to keep me guessing the most I think, I hope to God that her cancer hasn't returned, or maybe it's something completely different and not cancer - (I don't know?) - But either way, I just hope Jean will be okay and EastEnders don't kill her off! What do you guys think? How do you feel about Jean's current story? Are there any storylines that are keeping you gripped at this moment in time, how do you feel about them all and what are your thoughts and theories?! I'd love to hear what you have to say, please feel free to leave me a message or a comment, I'll always respond! Thanks again folks! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll be back very soon! Love you all xXx

"You're The Biggest Mistake I Ever Made!"
Tuesday 12th January 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all keeping well! I apologise for this one being late, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next, following yesterday's episode! I'm not going to waste any of your time and jump straight into it!
Firstly, I want to mention Frankie and Ben. With recent events spiralling out of control, poor Frankie has no idea how to cope with it all, knowing that Mick is her Dad and that her Mother is a paedophile! Ben and Callum find her at the Prince Albert and decide to stay with her to keep an eye on her as it becomes clear that she's been drinking all day! Ben seems concerned for his friend, he manages to sit down and inform her about the fight he had just witnessed outside on the Square, informing Frankie that Shirley had beaten a woman up on the Square, but refused to say who it was. Frankie seems to look suspicious, after Ben tells her this information, she takes a quick look at her phone and sees that she has many missed calls from her Mum, but chooses to completely ignore them! During her time in the Prince Albert, Frankie has been assumed as gay, first with Tina and now with this new lady working at the bar, calling her "Gorgeous!" - I mean, that does not necessarily mean that the girl was chatting her up, could be just a nice polite compliment, but Frankie seems to take it as another girl is once again chatting her up, she questions Ben why people assume that she's gay - but as soon as Ben makes a light joke, she snaps back at him, leaving Ben very surprised. He can see that his friend is struggling with something, will he manage to find out what?!
The next thing I want to talk about is Dotty's party, now there's quite a lot to cover here involving a number of characters. Firstly, that Sharon offers Dotty an olive branch and gifts her a crate of alcohol for her party. She informs the teenager that she and Dotty's Grandmother "Dot" have been close for years and she hate for them to fall out because of Dotty, she tries to inform her that she and Ian are just starting out and she should accept it and move on. However, during the party, Dotty can't seem to come to terms with Sharon's offer, it's only after some wise words from Jean that she decides to give the alcohol back to Sharon and informs her that she can't just forget what Ian did to Dennis. It would be wrong for her accept it, unfortunately, Dotty doesn't know about Sharon's knowledge of Ian's involvement in her son's death. But Dotty makes a statement, that she needs to think about who she's really married to, there is no misunderstanding and she knows exactly what Ian did! She made the very important point that maybe Ian can buy Sharon, but she can't buy her!
During Dotty's party, poor Iqra is stood on her own, but when Keegan and Tiffany ask where Ash is, she informs them that she's probably still working, the states that the girl is a workaholic! Only just a few seconds later, Ash appears from around the doorframe - it looks like she's already had a few drinks already, much to Iqra's shock! I do feel for Iqra during these scenes, as it looks as if Ash is slowly losing interest in her girlfriend. Even when Ash proposes taking the party somewhere else, Iqra questions whether it's a good idea, to which her girlfriend responds with "Well, you can just stay here!" - leaving Iqra visibly upset. Later, when Iqra and Jean find each other, Jean gives Iqra some wise words also. When Iqra informs her that Ash has changed since Jag's has been in prison, its as if she doesn't know what her girlfriend wants anymore. Once again, Jean plays the role of being everyone's agony aunt and gives Iqra some home truths to think about, also mentioning that she needs to live in the moment, she has her whole life to figure out what she wants, but while she's young, she needs to live in the now and enjoy it! But while Iqra and Jean are having this conversation, Ash, Peter, Tiffany and Keegan have gone to the Panesar's office, where they thought the party would kick off. However, it's only when Suki walks in and informs everyone to leave that it looks like the party's over. It's been blatantly obvious in recent weeks that Peter has been flirting with Ash, even before Suki comes in to ruin the party, he questions Ash on what his chances are of being with her, she looks tempted but gives him the blow that he stands no chance with her at all. But when Suki tells them to leave, as Peter grabs his coat, his wallet falls out, which of course, Suki takes pleasure in snooping at. But she seems either disgusted or stunned to find a condom in Peter's wallet. When he comes back to find it, realising that Suki has found the content of his wallet, he informs her that it's best to be safe. Suki seems interested to know that Peter is interested in her daughter, however Peter informs her that her feelings towards him are not mutual. But what happens next REALLY shocks me - Suki starts flirting with Peter! Informing him that she's just been on a date and that the obvious end result of that date has ended with her talking to him and not in bed with her date. Peter seems kind of shocked and embarrassed at the thought, but Suki informs him that passion doesn't stop at the age of 40 and drops the biggest flirtatious bomb of all and questions whether he'd like to find out!!! To say I was shocked is a total understatement!! I have no idea why Suki would even be interested in Peter, would it be simply to get her own back on Ian? Or to even cause a rift between him and Ash? Who knows?!
Also, can I just mention what an absolute inspiration Jean was during this episode! Regardless of having to deal with the possibility that her cancer is back, she puts on a brave face, with some gorgeous make-up, gets dressed into a stunning sparkly dress and attends Dotty's party with Mo! During her time there, she helps not to just one - but two people - Dotty and Iqra! Informing them to take a hold of their life, live in the moment and enjoy it while they can. Jean seemed to be really enjoying herself at the party and also seemed to be taking her own advice. When Iqra asks her what she wants, she simply gets up and says "I want to dance!" - Jean gets up onto the dancefloor and shows the young ones how to live in the moment. She's swaying her arms and legs and singing along to the music, eyes closed - actually living in that very moment! Jean was just beautiful tonight, an inspiration. I love her so so much! I want to applaud Gillian Wright for her performance as Jean, she's just a fantastic actress and plays the role of Jean so perfectly, I can't fault her at all!! Of course we don't know for sure whether Jean's cancer has returned, I pray to God it hasn't, but even so - she has given us a brilliant life lesson. Don't dwell on things, face life head on, enjoy it - because we simply don't know how long we all have on this Earth!
The final thing I want to talk about, of course is Mick and Shirley! After the events of what happened in the previous episode, Mick is panicking that his Mum is going to the police everything, about why she attacked Katy and that soon Mick's secret will come flooding out onto the Square. Linda tries to console her husband, but he states that he simply isn't ready for things to be revealed yet. I do also feel for Shirley during this episode, during her confrontation with Linda, she states that after learning the truth, she can't just stand back and do nothing! Linda pleads to Shirley not to call the police, she understands that she wants to help Mick, but doing this isn't the right way. She makes a very valid point that they are both on the same side here, they both want to be there for Mick, even though they both want to rip Katy's throat out for what she's done to him, but they have to do what's best for Mick and do things at his pace - otherwise it'll make the whole situation 10 times worse for him. Linda suggests that she goes round to their apartment and speaks to her son. It's this scene in particular which got me really emotional. Poor Shirley is in absolute bits, tears flooding down her face as she talks to her son about not being there for him and how she blames herself. She informs Mick that she didn't tell the police why she hit Katy, for his sake! She goes on to talk about not being able to be there for him whilst he was in care, she blames herself - not for putting him into care but also of what Katy has done to him. As a mother, she feels she should've known, she should've protected him. She is deeply apologetic towards her son. Mick doesn't say a word and listens very carefully to his Mother's words - it seems as this has been the words he's been needing to her, slowly and gently he leans forward to his Mum, informing her that all of this is not her fault, the only person to blame is Katy. He says those 3 small words that Shirley has been longing to hear for a very long time "I love you!" - Shirley's sobs seem to ease as finally the relationship between her and her son is rekindled. This scene almost made me cry - I also have to applaud Linda Henry for her performance as Shirley, another fantastic actress which EastEnders are extremely lucky to have! I have to be honest, Shirley is one of my favourite characters, I've loved her since she first appeared on the soap, she has so much fire about her and I love her so much!! EastEnders wouldn't be the same without her! Taking her own advice, that she wants to be there for her family, she wants to look out for her family more than ever now, she goes back to the Atkins household where Gray is waiting for her. She informs him that she's going to start looking for Tina, something isn't right and she needs to find her baby sister - the look on Gray's face is an absolute picture! Panic! Something tells me it's not going to be too long until his secrets slowly start to reveal themselves. What is he going to do now? How on Earth is he going to be able to stop Shirley from searching for her sister? What other low lengths will he go to?!
The final thing I want to mention is Max! After leaving Mick and Shirley alone to have their talk, Linda finds herself in the Vic. Max finds her sitting alone and approaches her, questioning the local gossip about Shirley beating up a lady, someone who's known to Mick. Linda attempts to ignore his questioning, informing him that it's none of his business and has nothing to do with him. Max seems really put off by this, he can't seem to understand why all of sudden, after their fling, Linda is back to being the doting wife. He asks her to please tell him, just to give him some kind of understanding as to why she's suddenly dropped him like a tone of bricks! He informs her that she doesn't have to stay with Mick out of duty, but Linda stops him before he can say anymore and informs him that it's not duty that she's staying with Mick, it's because of love. She still loves her husband very dearly. Bu Max refuses to give up and states that he can't understand that "One minute you're mine, the next -!" This really doesn't sit well with Linda and abruptly stops him once again, stating that she was NEVER his and that he was the biggest mistake she ever made, leaving the Vic and Max alone with the hurtful truth that she regrets their fling, even more so now.
Overall a very brilliant episode, powerful, emotional, inspirational! Everything you wanted really! I can't wait to see what happens next. Will Frankie be okay? Will she eventually be able to have a conversation with Mick? Who knows? I hope in time that Mick will be able to approach his daughter and they'll be able to come to terms with everything - together. What the heck is going on between Suki and Peter? Do you guys find that weird and disturbing as much as I do?! Plus, how is Shirley going to find Tina and will Gray attempt to stop her?! Oooo so many questions which I can't find out the answers to! I hope you've all enjoyed reading, I really enjoyed writing this post! Please feel free to leave me a comment, I'll always respond! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx

"Let's Have That Playdate Tomorrow!"
Friday 20th November 2020
Hello again everyone! Hope you all are doing well, this current lockdown is nearly at an end! Hopefully things will start to look a bit better when Christmas comes around! I apologise for me being so behind on the episodes lately, unfortunately I am still working during this current lockdown and of course with things happening in my own personal life, there are times I miss out on watching an episode, let alone even getting the time to review one and type up a blog. I want to thank you all for your on-going support, there have been so many spoilers as to what may be happening over the Christmas period on Albert Square, I'm really looking to watching it all unfold!
Meanwhile, let's carry on from where I was last up to, Friday's episode. The episode begins with Kat, she's slumped on the kitchen table as Stacey makes her way in. Poor Kat looks as if she hasn't been able to have a wink of sleep all night. She reveals to Stacey that she's tried calling everyone she knows trying to find the whereabouts of Kush, she's still trying to call him but his phone remains off. Who knows where he must've gone to after the robbery?! He seems to have just done a disappearing act. But Kat isn't one to just hang around and do nothing, as she grabs her coat, she informs Stacey that she's going off to the police station to give her statement and then she's going to try and find Kush. If the police haven't got him then he must be somewhere?!
Meanwhile, Callum looks absolutely lost. He's seems to be in a world of his own as he tends to his busted lip. As Ben walks in, they begin to discuss how the whole situation has turned into such a mess. Callum informs his boyfriend that he really didn't have a choice but to let Kush go, considering he'd threatened to take down Ben with him if he got caught. Ben then speaks his opinion that Kush should remain missing, he seems to be believe that they would've gotten away with the robbery if Kush hadn't set off the silent alarm - however things seems to take an interesting turn here, Callum then reveals to his boyfriend that there actually wasn't a silent alarm, and the other reason the police turned up was because they received an anonymous 999 call. Ben seems to look deeply concerned, but does he have an idea as to who grassed them up?! Wait till he finds out that it was his brother!!
At the laundrette, Max walks in on Linda drawing up some new ideas for her business idea. She shows Max her rough copies of the new superhero's she's made, and of course - Max is really impressed and suggest that she should post them online. Once again I'm sensing more flirtation between the two, they suggest bringing their children together for a playdate and perhaps modelling some outfits that Linda has designed, but it's just so blatantly obvious that Linda is flirting when she suggests having an adult in on the modelling too to be pose with the children. They share a giggle as Sharon enters the building, oooh Sharon knows she has walked in on something! Both Linda and Max act very coy when she asks if she's interrupting something, Linda reveals to her friend that Max is helping with her business idea for the Lucy Beale Award. Sharon knows that Max is up to no good, the last thing she wants is for Max to break up another marriage! What do you think, are Linda and Max just good friends? Or do you fear that something is going to happen between the two and they'll cross the line?!
In the Cafe, Tiffany is informing her husband that both Rainie and Stuart haven't been in touch with her for a while since she agreed to be their surrogate, however once Keegan notices that she's had her phone on "Airplane Mode", loads of messages seem to come through once she's taken it off. I mean, of course Stuart and Rainie are going to be in touch with her as much as they can, it's the excitement of being one step closer to becoming parents. Suddenly they make their way into the Cafe and insist on buying Tiffany breakfast, however in stead of buying a lovely full English Breakfast, Rainie brings up a plate of salad to her - I mean, I get she wants her to be healthy so she'll be able to look after their baby okay, but something tells me it would start being a bit of an insult if she starts telling her what to eat and what not to eat. Tiffany and Keegan can both see this is going to be a really long journey for them.
Out on the Square, Ian appears to be dressed in his finest as he gives an interview for the Walford Gazette newspaper. I'm unsure what that interview is for, possibly for his public image? Or wanting to get the word out that the Vic is now under new management. He's one again gloating to this news crew that if it wasn't for him, the Queen Vic would've hit rock bottom with sales, business, etc. However, unfortunate for Ian, Tina is stood behind him listening to every word he's saying. It's interesting how many people he's really beginning to annoy and how many people are/will have it in for him. As Tina walks away after hearing him insult her family, Suki approaches and acknowledges how happy she is that someone as up-standing as Ian is getting the recognition he deserves, of course she's only saying that because they've come to an agreement of some kind. I do have a feeling that things aren't going to continue going well for Mr. Beale.
Returning to the Mitchell household, Kat pays them a visit an informs Callum that she's been down the statement having to give a false statement. She informs the young police officer that he didn't drop him in it but she knows full well that he let Ben off, she demands to know where Kush is, if anyone would know, he would, right?! Callum informs Kat that he has no idea of the whereabouts of Kush, its then he also drops the bombshell that he did find Kush during the robbery, but Kush ended up punching him and fleeing the scene. Kat can't believe that Kush would punch Callum, but he informs her that it's probably best if Kush stays hidden for the time being, as he not also took part in a robbery, he also assaulted a police officer, so maybe he is just lying low.
At the Atkins household, Phil is questioning Gray whether they'll be any issues in changing the licence plates on the cars. But Shirley reassures her boss that the paper work needs to be absolutely spot on, which is why Gray is doing the paperwork and Phil isn't! Interesting, there seems to be a lot of people who are in-the-know about this robbery. It's amazing how none of them have grassed any of them up, well of course except for Ian. But there's Kat, Stacey, Phil, Shirley, Ben, Callum, Kush, Gray, Sharon ... (Well maybe she doesn't know about the burglary but she's felt comfortable about giving Phil a false alibi?!) As Phil leaves the property, Tina arrives back and it's clear to see that she is seething over Ian's insults to her family and his attitude towards them and the Vic. Tina pleads to her sister that they attempt to get the pub back in their name, but Shirley reminds Tina that Linda is still an alcoholic, that was the reason they sold up in the first place. But Tina seems to believe that Linda is doing a lot better recently, she explains that since they sold the pub, Mick hasn't been the same, he seems to be so unhappy and lost. Could there be a way for the Carter's to win back the pub?! Is the pub really in Ian's name or Sharon's name? As Ian has always said that he bought the pub for Sharon, but who's name is really on the lease of the building?!
Returning to the Vic, Linda is informing her best friend about application for the Lucy Beale Award. It's nice to see Linda looking more positive and happy about her future prospects, but it's clear to see that Sharon is worried for her friend about getting too close to Max. As Linda is glowing with the excitement of a whole new beginning, Sharon voices her concerns about Max, but in a loving, friendly way that everything seems okay now between them, but if things go on it won't be long before Max will have his tongue down her throat. (However little does she know that they have already shared a kiss!) Linda reassures her friend that she wouldn't cheat on Mick and that she literally just sees Max as a mate. But Sharon has a good point, whilst Mick is away staying with Lee, it's understandable she's enjoying the attention but I'd hate to think she'd cheat on her husband whilst he was away, especially considering what he's been dealing with in recent weeks.
Meanwhile at the restaurant, Iqra is sat doing paperwork. Ian is stood behind the bar as Suki walks in, subtly she hands him over an envelope with half of the amount she promised him inside. Ian doesn't seem impressed and pulls Suki into the back for a private word, leaving the money on the bar counter. As he pulls Suki to one side he asks Iqra to watch the bar whilst they're in the back. Iqra is quite reluctant but once both Ian and Suki are out the back, Iqra starts to clean behind the bar, until she eventually comes across the envelope with the money inside it - instantly she's looking a little confused as to where this money has come from, but suddenly she begins to hear voices. Ian and Suki are both discussing their plan, Suki tells Ian that he won't receive the other half of the money until he has held up his end of the bargain and put things into paperwork and he has signed some kind of formal documents she needs, planning approval etc. Iqra is really shocked to have heard what she has, but what will she do with this information? Will she tell Ash what her Mother is really up to?! Or maybe will she help Tina in getting the Vic back in the Carter's name, knowing full well that Ian is up to some dodgy deals with Suki! Who knows?!
Back out on the Square, Whitney is seen leaving the Minute Mart as car sirens can be heard, slowly Ruby approaches from behind and they both watch in amazement as from across the Square, the police pull up the Slater household and barge their way in as they look for Kush. Stacey's voice can be heard objecting to them entering the house. Ruby voices her opinion that it doesn't surprise her that the police have come knocking at their door, however Whitney's response is more sympathetic, she questions that maybe the police have got the wrong house? But Ruby just laughs at Whitney's response and says that it wouldn't surprise her if they found something at the Slater household. Hmm, does Whitney know more than she's letting on?! Why would she be so quick to defend the Slater's?!
At the Carter's household, Max once again is helping Linda with her costumes (Wow! Can I just say how big baby Abi has grown?! I know it sounds silly, but I still picture her as a little baby, not the toddler that she's become. Didn't realise it was that long ago that Abi Branning passed away! Only feels like a year or two ago - which may possibly be how old young Abi it?!) As Linda is eager to get the children in their superhero outfits, Max picks out one for Ollie to year, however Linda recalls that the one he picked was the one Mick made for him when Ollie was first diagnosed with Autism. You can see a slight look of sadness as she mentions how Mick didn't want their son to feel different from everyone, so instead of different they made him feel special. When Max puts the superhero outfit away, Linda admits to him that it was actually Mick's idea to make their son a Superhero outfit. Is there a sense of guilt between them now that Mick hasn't been brought into the idea of superhero clothes for children?! Or the fact that they're feeling guilty for spending a lot of time together and have quite visibly been flirting with one another? Who knows?!
Meanwhile, Iqra has found her way to the Prince Albert, unfortunately she doesn't seem to be listening fully to Tina as her head is replaying what she's overheard from Ian and Suki. Tina is voicing how much she's going to miss living with her and Ash, but she understands that her moving out would help Iqra and Ash spend some time together. However, Iqra feels trapped in a corner as she admits to Tina that she can't stand Ash's family. I have to say I really do like the friendship between Tina and Iqra, I did kind of wish that they were a couple instead of Iqra and Ash. Anyway Iqra finds it in herself to confide in Tina and reveals everything that she witnessed, Suki giving Ian some money in return for some approval on a planning application. Tina tells Iqra that she's got to tell someone, she knows full well how dodgy Ian is being at the moment. Iqra pleads to her not to tell anyone, especially considering the fact the Iqra can't tell her own girlfriend that her Mum is up to something. But what will Tina do with this information? Will she find a way of getting her own back on Ian herself?!
Back at the Carter household, Max and Linda are enjoying taking pictures of their children in Linda's new children's superhero outfits. Only things take a slight U-turn when Max comments that they both make a good team. I think Linda maybe feels a little uncomfortable with his comment, he thanks Max for all his help but expressions her opinion that once they're done he should leave. Only when Linda begins to take photo's of Ollie with the flash on her phone, it frightens the poor boy and he attempts to hide underneath the kitchen table with his hands over his eyes. Linda apologises to her son and tries to coax him out but to no avail, Max then decides to take it upon himself to try and gain the little boy's trust. He gets down to his level and squeezes underneath the table, softly he speaks to the little boy and after suggesting that they build a den after taking their photographs, the little boy removes his hands from his face, much to Linda's surprise. Eventually Max persuades little Ollie to get up and join in with taking photographs, to which Linda is incredibly thankful.
Back on the Square, Tiffany and Keegan are approaching the chippy (Yum! Everyone loves a chippy, right?!) As Keegan orders himself some food, Tiffany feels a bit gutted that she's having to stay healthy. As she's voicing her frustration, Stuart appears from behind and informs her that he's managed to go to the chemist and pick up some vitamins for her. He pulls out about 3 or 4 different tube bottles full of pills and Tiffany is looking pretty overwhelmed with this new information that she's having to take pills as well as eat healthily. However it looks as if enough is enough when Stuart asks her to start taking them that day, she understands that they want the baby to be healthy but she assures Stuart that she wouldn't let anything happen to their child once its in her womb. Stuart seems to understand, he apologises for coming on so heavy, its nice that they have come to acknowledge each other's understanding, Tiffany tells him politely that she's more than happy to carry their child for them, but it does not mean that they can start telling her what she can and can't do, and in all fairness - Stuart completely agrees and announces that they'll do it Tiffany's way, to which she then responds with happily ordering something from the chippy.
Once again, returning to the Carter household, Ollie and Abi are both playing happily together as they wind down after their photoshoot. Linda is sat with Max as they look over the photographs they've taken. This scene did get me a little worried as I sensed something, once again, was going to happen between the two. Max brings up the fact that he's trying to be supportive to Linda considering he was with her the last time she had a drink, he doesn't want her to feel that she's got no one to talk to, but regardless of them spending time together, he admits that he knows that she and Mick are solid. It's then Linda seems to look upset and reveals to Max that things haven't exactly been brilliant between them recently, she explains that each time she tries she feels she's just pushing him further and further away. Perhaps this is why she's been enjoying Max's company so much, it's made her feel something again - I mean when was the last time, Mick and Linda actually had a laugh with each other and showed each other some affection? It's been a long time, hasn't it?! Max seems to understand but he makes the big confession that the only reason he kissed her a while back is because he wanted to, and more interestingly, he stills wants to! Things are looking as if they are going to pounce on each other, however Ollie breaks the silence as he asks for his Mummy. As Linda goes to see her to son, Max suggests that they make another play date for their children, to which Linda coldly responds by saying she'll text him.
Back at the Slater household, Kat answers her mobile which is ringing on the kitchen table, it appears to be Stacey on the other end. She informs her cousin that she's been desperately trying to search for her boyfriend but can't find him anywhere. Suddenly, there's a knock on the backdoor and Kat is surprised to see Whitney stood there. It's then Whitney announces that there's something she needs to show her, pretty urgently and they both leave the house together. Meanwhile in the Vic, Ian is feeling positive about his interview with the newspaper, even though he is looking incredibly happy with himself, the fella from the newspaper seems less than impressed as he downs his bottle of beer. Across the bar, both Callum and Ben are trying to talk about something other than the robbery. Oh but just by coincidence, as soon as Ben questions whether Callum can trace who dialled the 999 call, Ian is stood behind the bar ear-wigging on their conversation. However Callum is unsure whether the call will be able to be traced, but then again the only thing they'll find out is that it was made from a telephone box. Maybe Ian did a clever thing for once and made sure he dialled from a phone box and not a mobile phone, that way it would be harder for them to trace?! Suddenly Tina enters the Vic and makes her way toward the bloke from the newspaper. Ooooh I'm liking the look of this!!! She questions whether he's writing an article  about Ian Beale, but the bloke doesn't seem interested if she's going to comment on how much of a aspect to the community he is, but then his attention in instantly grabbed as Tina admits that that is not what's doing, she mentions that if he really wants a story then she has one for him. Ooooh - I'm loving this! Yes! GO TINA!!! Is she going to spill what Iqra has informed her about and portray Ian in a terrible light?! In all seriousness, it's more than what he deserves! Only the downside is, will it fall back onto Iqra and will she get the blame?!
Eventually Kat makes it to what looks like Whitney's attic, she's questioning why Whitney has brought her up there, only as she turns around, Kush is seen sat in the very far corner, almost looking scared and very sheepish. Kat is absolutely elated to find her boyfriend is safe and sound, she announces how worried she's been about him, but Kush is nothing but deeply apologetic for making such a mess of things. He's tries to explain how he thought he would be able to start the car and how things just turned so messy. Kat is just happy to see that Kush is safe, she promises him that they will sort everything out together.
At Ruby's club, Linda is sat alone with a drink, Ruby enters the room carrying a huge box of wine. It looks as if Linda is feeling sorry for herself, she seems very agitated when Ruby politely asks if she's okay. Whether she's waiting for someone or something else. Linda then voices that everyone around her sees her not as Linda anymore, but Linda The Alcoholic! Ruby tries to persuade her that that isn't the case at all, she tries to explain that she has lots of friends and family around her who are just trying to look out for her. She questions whether she should all Mick, but Linda snaps back that he isn't her carer, he's her husband. She also makes sure to point out to Ruby that the drink she's got in her hand is only orange juice, nothing else! But Ruby is quick to throw in one last dig, she knows that she's drinking a soft drink, as she explains that all her staff have a list of who not to serve alcohol to, and it turns out that Linda's name is right at the very top of that list! Honestly, that's a bit of a big insult, I think that would hurt anyone really wouldn't it?! As Ruby leaves the room, Linda takes it upon herself to approach the box of wine which she's left at the bar and swipes a bottle before leaving. Once she's home, she's sat alone with the bottle and a glass already poured, to me it looks like that she really can't take Mick's behaviour anymore, she's feeling lonely, unwanted and maybe also missing her husband as well as missing their happiness and intimacy. She attempts to call him but to no avail as it the dial tone rings dead, I did fear at this point that she was going to take a big gulp of wine. She brings the glass up to her face and she gently smells the wine, she then plonks the glass back down and dials another number - Max! She agrees to go along with the playdate for the children for the following day, but something else is telling me, is she doing it for the company. If Mick isn't around then why not have Max's attention. I do thing as things go on, something will happen between the two, what do you think? Feeling a little more relieved she gets up and throws the glass of wine and the bottle down the sink!
A very interesting episode I have to say, some very interesting things taking place, I mean I do feel a lot of it will come to some form of explosion within the next few days. I do feel that all this that's happening right now will be the drama that's all going to explode coming towards Christmas! Christmas is only a month away and it's not going to be long now until huge secrets are revelled and big bombshells are going to be dropped. EastEnders is always explosive at Christmas, right?! I, for one, am incredibly excited to see it all unfold! Thank you all for reading, I'll be back again tomorrow with another blog. Enjoy the rest of your evening folks! Love you all xXx

"My Name's Jordan!"
Thursday 11th March 2021
Hello again everyone! The weekend is slowly approaching us! I hope you've all had a brilliant week so far and are looking forward to the weekend! I'm happy to say that this blog will finally bring up to speed with the rest of you! I've had so many things going on in my personal life, the only way I found it easier to catch up was to blog about 2 episodes in one post, but now everything should be back to normal!
There is quite a lot of drama happening in the Square right now that's fair to say. The first thing I'm going to mention is Bobby. Does anyone else feel for Bobby? Since his return to the Square he's been trying to do everything he can to live a happy and normal life for someone at his young age! But everything has been far from easy for him, being horrifically haunted by his deceased sister where he kept seeing her ghost. The poor lad had very few people to turn to, I guess he hasn't really got a best friend really has he, of course he has friends and family to look out for him, but he doesn't have that one best friend that everyone needs to turn to when they need someone. It comes as a surprise to find out that he has decided to join a dating app, and to be fair, why the hell not?
Whilst Kim is catching up with Iqra about her possible connection with Mila, Bobby is sat opposite them and Kim makes it known that finding someone for Bobby is going to be her next challenge. But before she can act, Bobby is astonished to notice that he's found a match on his dating app. Even though Kim's response is a little bit on the negative side, Iqra however shows Bobby her full support and congratulates him on his match, claiming that he deserves to be happy, which ever way he chooses to meet someone. Later in the day Bobby is home getting ready for his date with his new match, Jade. Kathy happens to get the smell of his aftershave and compliments that he's dressed up nice for the occasion, bless him. He's so cute! He voices his concerns about whether he's ready to start dating, but Kathy reassures him that it would be good for him if he was to meet someone new.
At the club, Bobby meets up with Jade, bless them both, they both look as nervous as the other. I guess you could say it was a little awkward, as they both sipped their drinks in silence before they built up the courage to make conversation. Poor Bobby, it's plain to see that he is completely and utterly nervous, and to be honest, it's understandable. It must be hard for someone like him who has spent the most of his young adult life in prison for accidentally killing his sister, to then be released and plunged into the real world, making new friendships and meeting new people, it must be a hell of scary thing! However, Jade seems really sweet asking the right sort of questions such as where he's from etc. However, when she excuses herself to use the restroom, Vinny does not help things. Whilst Bobby has been on his date, Vinny has been watching from a distance, he decides to give Bobby some advice and to just relax, thinking that he's reassuring the young lad when he mentions that Jade hasn't gone to the restroom to Google his name or anything! But of course, that DOES NOT help with Bobby! He instantly panics and does a runner, leaving poor Jade completely unaware as to why he's left. As Bobby returns home, we see him change his name on his dating profile app to Robert. I mean, is Bobby short for Robert? I really don't know, but either way, it looks as if Bobby is still really wary with people finding out who he is and what he did in his past. I don't know about you, but I kind of hope we see this Jade again, maybe she'll come back wanting an explanation from Bobby as to why he left their date? Who knows?
--
So the other thing we have to mention is Billy, Jay and Honey. It's the day of Janet's audition for the modelling agency and once again Billy and Jay can't seem to agree on who's going with who for the day. To stop the arguments, Honey decides to go to work, forcing Billy and Jay to go together with Janet to her audition. Sorry but I have to say, even though Billy needs to move on from Honey and accept she's with Jay, it's funny seeing the two grown men arguing like children! Unfortunately, Honey's idea doesn't go to plan. Where things are going smoothly for Janet at her audition, whilst at work, Honey has a nasty fall after climbing a ladder and reaching for some stock. After Jay and Billy hear the news about Honey's fall and she's been rushed to hospital, they once again start arguing like an old married couple about who should be with Honey and who should be with Janet.
Billy is furious to learn that Jay never answered his telephone calls, but as Jay rightly reminds him that the judge had asked them to put their phones on silent so not to disrupt the auditions. Eventually they come to the agreement that Billy should stay with Janet at her audition, as being her Father, it's only right that he should be there for his daughter. Jay will then go to check on Honey. Luckily Honey has no lasting damage to her fall, eventually she's brought home to rest up and Jay is thankful to see her safe and unharmed. However, things seem to escalate when there's a misunderstanding when Billy arrives. Billy arrives home, happy to see Honey looking safe, but as soon as Honey asks about her daughter's audition, it becomes clear that because of misread text messages, no one has been to pick up their daughter, poor Janet has simply been left at the venue on her own. In a blind panic, everyone starts to search the Square for the young girl, Jay informs them that the venue has all closed up and no one is around, it looks as if Janet could possibly have been kidnapped? For a very small brief moment, I did worry for the young girl, she's such a sweet girl and someone could easily take advantage of her disability to lure her somewhere - you just don't know really, do you?! But thankfully, she's found safe and well as a police officer walks her home. Maybe this could've been the lesson that both Jay and Billy need to make amends? Who cares who Honey is seeing as long as the children are safe? One thing is for certain, they're going to want to make sure that they can resolve their differences and put them aside for the children's sake. I'm intrigued to see how this mistake will affect them all?
--
The final thing, and main thing I need to talk about of course is Lucas!! After meeting Karen at the laundrette and finding himself a date, it was obvious that Karen was besotted with the unknown stranger, but in concern of giving him his proper name, Lucas introduced himself with the wrong name, using his deceased son's name, Jordan. At first, I kind of thought it was a little suspicious, but the more I watch Lucas in these episodes, the more I'm starting to believe that he truly is trying to be a changed man, that's all he's really wanting, isn't it?! Or am I being fooled and is it all an act?! Karen appears to be really excited about the possibility of having a new man in her life, even though her family believe it's too soon. Bernie even admits that she wants picture proof of her date when she meets him.
Understandably, Mitch is concerned for his ex-wife, claiming that it's another emotional tool to get over the loss of Chantelle, which it might be the case, but who knows? Before Lucas heads to his date, it looks as if he gets a visit from a support worker, someone who's trying to help him get back on his feet. She gives him the good news that they've managed to find him a new job and a place to live, however, the only downside is that it's in Newcastle. Lucas frets that this opportunity would not be right for him, as it would be taking him away from the people he loves most and will ruin his chance of rebuilding his relationship with Chelsea and Denise.
Later Karen arrives at the club, looking all glammed up and ready for her date, she's sat waiting patiently for "Jordan" to arrive. Looking ever so suspicious, Lucas eventually turns up, informing Karen that he wasn't expecting her to turn up, even though she's very smiley and giddy and sneakily taking pictures of her date for her family. I guess it's fair to say that Lucas and Bobby's story in this episode are quite similar, both going on a date with someone new, who have absolutely no knowledge about their past. Just as Bobby's date was awkward, but cute - Lucas's date with Karen is also a little awkward, personally, I found it quite hard to tell whether Lucas was acting suspiciously, or whether it was simply just nerves?
Meanwhile, Mitch is at the club with Denise voicing his concerns about Karen dating someone new, questioning whether it's another way of trying to cope with the loss of Chantelle. Denise informs Mitch that maybe Karen needs something new in her life, who knows? But it's then that Mitch shows a picture of the man Karen is on a date with, to Denise! Her face drops at the recognition of the man in the picture. Without hesitation, she informs Mitch everything, warning that Karen needs to be super careful with who she's dating. But back the at club, Karen and "Jordan" seem to have hit it off as they come to realise that they both have lost children. Lucas questions Karen about her children and the Father's, it seems as if he's either fishing for information or he's genuinely interested about her life.
Suddenly, it looks as if Lucas decides to come clean to Karen, admitting that he's not who he says he is, that he gave her an incorrect name, it looks as if he's about to come clean and be honest with her. But before Lucas is even given the opportunity to finish his sentence or even explain himself, Mitch comes bursting in and breaks in on their date, informing Karen that the man she's on a date with is actually Denise's ex-husband and his name is in fact "Lucas Johnson!". Poor Karen is in absolute shock when she realises her date's true identity, her attitude towards him changes instantly, leaving Lucas feeling devastated and humiliated. Later as Lucas sits alone in the pub, both Chelsea and Denise confront him about his absurd date with Karen, and how vile he is for using his deceased son's name, I don't know about you guys, but it's a this point I actually feel sorry for Lucas, just like Bobby, he wanted a chance of feeling normal, being able to go somewhere without people staring or gossiping. This confrontation however turns into a blazing row in the middle of the pub, Lucas is trying to do everything he can to make amends for what he's done and he's been shown no kind of respect from anyone since his return, especially from his own daughter.
As everyone goes home, Denise tries to softly explain to Lucas that the only way to get back into his daughter's good books, if it's what he's wanting, is to do this job for her. That way, she'll be free to be able to move on from things with Caleb and focus on her own life without any worries. It seems as if this small talk plays on Lucas's mind as the episode ends with him making a call to Caleb, once again using the false name, "Jordan"! What is Lucas up to? Is he going to set up a meeting with Caleb behind everyone's back and try and sort the situation out himself? Or could he be up to something much worse? What do you guys think?! What are your thoughts on the soap's current storylines, are you enjoying some more than others? Please leave me a comment or a message letting me know your thoughts or opinions on anything EastEnders, I'd love to hear what you have to say! Thank you again for reading, I'll be back again tomorrow! Love you all xXx

"This Is Your Proof That I'm Not!"
Double Episode Catch-Up
Monday 8th March - Tuesday 9th March 2021
Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well so far, once again this is going to be a double episode post. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be completely caught up to date, I realise there is a lot to get through so I'll jump straight into it.
So the first thing I want to briefly mention is the gorgeous Janet! The young girl is helping her Dad on his stall, I love how energetic and happy she is about helping her Dad. Billy teaching her how to approach their customers was so adorable. No matter what you think of Billy, the one thing he has always been is a supportive Dad of his kids, always making sure he's there for them. As Honey praises her daughter for assisting her Dad, she questions whether Billy would be free to catch up in the week, of course we all know that she's dating Jay now, but poor Billy once again is happy to spend time with his ex-wife, in the hopes of her wanting to rekindle their romance as much as he does. As they begin to make plans for their meet up, a random stranger named "Amelia" approaches Honey from behind, mentioning that she's from a talent scout and claiming that she's found someone who she's really interested in, of course with Honey's past of being model she believes Amelia is asking about her, but interestingly she corrects Honey and points to young Janet, to her parents surprise. Now of course Billy and Honey have always been protective of Janet, but do I remember rightly when I say that Honey took Will to America or somewhere to pursue modelling? Surely it would be really nice for Janet to have her opportunity in the spotlight if she so wishes.
At first Honey isn't too sure whether to let her daughter be exposed to that type of business and work, but during their meeting, Billy reassures her that their daughter is at a decent age now where she can make her own decisions and regardless of her disability, she deserves the best opportunities in life as other kids. With her children's Father being so supportive of their daughter, Honey agrees and allows Janet to go for this opportunity of a life time! But, unfortunately, as soon as Billy recalls about them having a meeting, Honey informs him that she's hoping he would sit down with Jay just for an hour to resolve their differences. Billy is once again crushed and informs his ex-wife that he simply can't just move on from recent events, he treated Jay as his own son, as far as he's concerned, he's betrayed him in the worse possible way that he can't see in ever forgiving. I'm seriously hoping we get to see this storyline play out for Janet, it would be beautiful to see her become a success, but then again, could it be also be a scam where people judge her because of her disability? That would be absolutely heart-breaking and devastating to see, but either way I'm intrigued to see where this story goes for Janet, it's lovely to see her in the spotlight!
--
Okay so they second thing I'm going to mention is Ash and Peter. As much as I'm loving Kim right now and her new business prospects, I don't know what it is, but I really don't like Peter and Ash together. I don't know whether it's just me or other people feel the same way, I just don't like it, I can't really explain why. I don't like Peter, I think the way he's treated his brother since his return has been disgusting, especially considering the scene where he was basically slagging him off to Ash, poor Bobby heard every word. All Bobby has ever wanted was to make his big brother proud and to be able to build a bond with him. Hearing him state that he's "Strange" and possibly has "Ex girlfriends buried in the garden!" is so cruel! So you can fully understand Bobby's hurt as Ash realises as he's heard every word. Okay, just because I don't like Peter, doesn't mean I don't like Ash. I actually liked the way Ash sat Bobby down and reassured him that one day he will get a girlfriend who will love him for who he his. I also don't like the way Peter thinks he's God's gift to women, he needs to a good slap round the head I reckon and be put in his place! Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way?!
After the success of getting Lola and Isaac together, it looks as if Kim has eyes on Peter and Ash as her next clients. As Peter and Ash return home from a day out at a waterpark, Peter is visibly soaked through, with enormous amount of flirtation going on, Peter decides once again to strip, completely unaware the Suki is still in the house. To be honest, Suki catching him stripping made me laugh out loud! "HA!" Obviously he was left feeling completely embarrassed and awkward, serves him right to think he can win any woman he wants! He quickly makes a sharp exit! Later on, Kim finds Ash at the Prince Albert and they begin to discuss the possibility of them becoming a couple, Ash confides in Kim that she can't understand why Peter fled in such a hurry, other than being caught by her Mum. Kim seems to suggest that perhaps Peter is just shy, but we all know that isn't true. However, in the meantime, Peter finds his way back to the Panesar's place of work to confront Suki. He seems pretty desperate to get together with Ash, but most of you will remember that Peter and Suki did have a one night stand not too long ago, his visit is to simply ask her if she'll keep quiet about their encounter. To be honest, is it crazy to say that I'm liking Suki more than Peter right now? She informs her one night stand that the thing that is most important to her is her children's happiness, so why would she stand in the way of that? (Erm, can I just mention Jags?! Thank you!) She confirms to Peter that she will keep quiet.
Returning to the club, Kim and Ash are still discussing the possibility of Ash and Peter becoming a proper couple, suddenly Peter appears after his confrontation with Suki and apologises to Ash for running out so quickly. He proposes going out for another date, which she softly responds by planting a kiss on Peter, not being aware that Iqra is watching everything unfold from across the room. As Kim is excited to see another match she's brought together, she notices Iqra and her upset and decides to console her. I guess you could say it's fair to say that Ash has moved on pretty quickly, but for Iqra - not so much. Kim takes it upon herself to once again try and match Iqra with someone else to cheer her up, but Iqra simply states that she's not interested in another relationship right now, but a face we haven't seen for a while - Mila, arrives for her shift at the bar and once again, there is small spark building between the two girls. What do you think, would you like to see Iqra get together with Mila? I personally think they'd make a lovely couple, and I'm really hoping Iqra will take that jump and move on from Ash to build a relationship with Mila.
--
Okay, so I have a very important question: What is going on with Chelsea?! Does anyone else understand what's going on with her? I get that she's got herself in so deep with this Caleb and she's fretting about going to the police or her life being jeopardy, but the way she's acting is just completely out of character, they've not just changed the image of Chelsea, but her personality too. I guess it's fair to say that character has been through a lot since she left the Square. After trying to blackmail Jack and coax him into sleeping with her, Jack does the decent thing and tells Denise everything. Understandably, Denise is incredibly hurt by her daughter's advances towards her partner, but Chelsea shows no shame, trying to explain to her Mum that she wouldn't have slept with him and was only trying to blackmail him to make sure Jack would keep quite and not tell the police about their situation.
But when Lucas hears about his daughter's behaviour from Denise, he tries to confront Chelsea, trying to get to the bottom of why she's acting out of the ordinary. As Lucas tries to understand his daughter and try and help her to keep positive, she does get a little emotional, claiming she's completely ashamed of her actions and was only trying to sort out the problem her parents had caused, BUT the second Lucas leaves her to be on her own, she dries her tears away and continues the drink her drink as if she doesn't care about what she's tried to do. It looks as if as far as she's concerned, she's looking out for number one, not any members of her family who could be caught in the firing line. Later on, on the Square, Lucas then witnesses Chelsea chasing after Jack, demanding to know whether he's going to go to the police or not after what he's learned, but when Jack warns her to stay away she turns in the most horrendous way, claiming that if she went through with wanting to sleep with him, he wouldn't have been able to say "No" to her! As Lucas witnesses everything, he's disgusted with his daughter. Chelsea really doesn't care anymore, all she's really bothered about is getting this job sorted as soon as possible, without any interference from her family or the police. I mean, if she was scared for her life then maybe, yes, I could understand her lashing out, but something tells me there is more going on. Has spending her time with Caleb taken it's toll on her?
Also, I know it was only a very small part of the episode, but I have to mention the first meeting between Lucas and Karen! I absolutely love Karen's first glimpse of Lucas, clearly she's besotted with him! But of course, she has no idea about his history on the Square, for all she knows, he's a brand new neighbour. I love how she was forward about seeing him again after doing his dry cleaning for him free of charge. Only the first red flag to fly was Lucas introducing himself with the wrong name, naming himself after his deceased son, "Jordan"! As much as I love Karen, she needs to be super careful, but of course - how is she going to be when she knows nothing of his past? None of her family do either to be fair, let's hope someone will be able to give her an insight into who she's dating before it's too late! But if Lucas is a changed man as he says he is, why would he give her a false name? Maybe to hide his true identity because he'd feel ashamed if she was to find out the truth? Who knows?
--
Right, so the last thing I have to mention is Stacey, Ruby and Martin. Ruby continues to grieve for her lost baby, of course it's the most devastating and heart-breaking thing any parent has to go through, every day where she doesn't have a child is going to be a struggle, but she informs her husband that she simply just wants to move on. Martin happens to mention that he has to pick up his daughter Hope from nursery, but interestingly Ruby offers to pick up his daughter. Now I have to mention how such a sweet little girl Hope is, she is so adorable, but it's quite sad to see how Ruby is such a natural with her, it's quite sad that she's missed the opportunity of doing the same things with her own child. Am I hearing things right or did little Hope accidentally call Ruby, "Mummy"?! If so, then that must've caught her completely off guard, of course little Hope hasn't realised the extent of her calling Ruby, Mummy, she's just a small innocent kid who has no idea what Ruby has gone through.
The moment which really moved me though, was when Martin showed his wife the memorial he had created for their lost child. Informing to meet him at the Arches, Ruby goes feeling a little bit anxious and/or suspicious on why her husband wanted her to meet him there. But then he shows her a beautiful memorial set out with stones, flowers, beautiful plants for them to visit to remember their lost baby. Showing her that she can write little messages on the stones, he writes his own message, claiming that their child would've been a football fan and support a specific football team. Ruby is completely touched by Martin's beautiful gesture and hard work, she voices that she felt she had a strong feeling that their child was a girl and writes down on a stone the name she had in mind for their baby daughter, "Lulu!" - which, to be fair, is a gorgeous name! I really felt this scene really touched me and reflected perfectly on how parents cope after losing a baby.
However, as the day carries on and the couple return home, Ruby notices Stacey with her children on the Square and it seems as if something has bean eating her up inside for so long, she can no longer stand and watch while Stacey is on the Square with her children. Asking whether Martin would do anything to support her in her time of grief, he reassures her that he would. But then they take a visit to Stacey, even though she's thankful to Ruby for picking up her daughter, Martin informs her that she'll probably have to get the children away pretty early in the morning, revealing the blow that she'll be getting a visit from the police. Of course Stacey is completely stunned to hear that it was actually Martin who had called the police on her, as she actually hadn't done anything wrong.
As she takes in the news, the next day as expected the police come knocking for her, as she's wanted for questioning about an assault. But of course we all know she never actually touched Ruby during their row, Ruby did in fact slip, the fall was completely an accident. While at the station, Stacey informs the police about everything that happened on that day, yes the did argue but Stacey never touched her, as she tried to walk away from the confrontation, Ruby followed her up the stairs, tripping on the stairs as she did. The only thing that could back up Stacey's story is if the police manage to get their hands on the CCTV. Eventually let her go, but on her way back to the Square, Stacey once again bumps into Ruby and Martin claiming the police are going to be searching the club for CCTV of the staircase of the club which should prove her innocence. However, Ruby seems to think that there is no CCTV as it's been dodgy for months, but then Martin happens to mention that he got it fixed without her knowledge and it's been working fine the past few weeks, this sends Ruby into a blind panic, she knows full well that Stacey didn't touch her and knows that if the police were to find the CCTV, she'd be proved as a liar!
Returning home, she pleads for Martin to go and fetch her a hot chocolate with all the works from the Cafe, and trying to be the caring and doting husband, Martin does as she requests. Only once he's left the house, she quickly rushes to the club to search for the CCTV footage. Clear as day one camera shows that Stacey did not touch her and the fall was completely an accident on Ruby's part, she had simply tripped as she hurried up the stairs. However, as the police knock on the office door, Ruby quickly deletes the footage!!!! Ooooo she really is wanting revenge on Stacey isn't she? For what though? For stealing her money all that time ago? Or is she simply just jealous? Ruby eventually allows the police to come in and check the CCTV, to their shock they find another clip from the staircase, from a completely different angle than the clip that Ruby deleted. Unfortunately, from the angle of this specific clip, it looks as if Stacey had swiped her arm, causing Ruby to lose her balance and fall backwards down the stairs, which is incredibly unfair to Stacey as we all know she's completely innocent! As the police show Ruby this footage, Ruby is left feeling completely smug!!
Ooooo things really aren't going to be looking good for Stacey, I have heard a rumour that Stacey could potentially lose custody of her children and they'll end up being in Martin and Ruby's care. Is that something that Ruby has been wanting? If so, she would have succeeded in taking everything from Stacey, her husband and then her children! Lacey Turner is due to go on maternity leave, so I believe that Stacey going to prison for assault could be the start of Lacey's temporary departure. What do you guys think? Will Ruby's lies eventually catch up with her?! Or will she end up getting away with it?! Either way I'm really looking forward to seeing this story unravel! Thank you all for taking your time to read this post, I realise it's quite long but I really appreciate all of your support! It means the world! Thank you again everyone! Love you all xXx

"I Think You're My Dad!"
Monday 5th October 2020
Good evening everyone! I hope you've all had an enjoyable weekend! I'm so happy to be back posting about a fresh new week on the Square. I'm not going to waste any of your time, let's just get right to it shall we? The episode starts this evening with Linda, obviously reeling from the events the night before. But what is she more guilty about, kissing Max or having a gulp of alcohol?! Mick and Tina join her in the living room, Tina also appears to reeling from the night before. I love the way she comes in complaining about how Frankie has been giving her the eyes all week, end up rejecting her as soon as she makes a move - and of course while Tina is talking about this, the only thing Linda has to say is "Just because you enjoy someone's company doesn't mean you need to stick your tongue down their throat!" - she's obviously speaking about herself and Max there! I love that, how it links with both Linda's situation and Tina's situation, it's brilliant! As Linda leaves the room, she suggests cooking a meal for both her a Mick that night. The next section, Tina is trying to understand why Frankie would give her the cold shoulder, as she's discussing it to Mick, he is - as nicely as possible, trying to persuade Tina to stay away, but Tina takes the conversation completely the wrong way and thinks that Mick is suggesting that Frankie is just shy, Tina then comes to the conclusion that Frankie absolutely fancies her! Is this still going to end in heartbreak for Tina?
At the Atkins household, Mac is trying to wake his Father up. We can see from the state of the room that Gray has been looking through some paper work, is it about Chantelle or could it in fact be revolving around Whitney's upcoming trial? The boy is trying to wake his Dad up, as he is absolutely flat out on the bedroom floor! Something tells me that Gray isn't coping, isn't coping under the pressure of trying to hide the fact that he murdered his wife? The fact the he has Whitney's trail coming up soon? Or is he just simply still grieving for his wife as regretting his huge mistake? As his son shouts at him to wake him, his phone begins to ring ... from what I can make out, the paperwork spread out on the bed, definitely has something to do with Whitney's trial!
At the Panesar's, Suki and Ash are discussing both Kheerat and Vinny. As Suki enters the room she is carrying a basket of dirty laundry. She asks her daughter whether she has seen her brother, Ash informs her that he didn't come back to the house until the early hours of the morning. Kheerat is still devastated about Chantelle, he's still grieving for the woman he grew to love. As Suki is saying that Kheerat needs to move on, (of course she's such a disheartening woman) - she finds Jag's jeans with a blood stain on the bottom, Martin's blood. You can she is absolutely livid, she frets that what if the police had searched the flat and found his stained jeans, the family could've been in huge trouble. Ash tells her not to worry, but I think deep down, Suki is thinking about teaching her son a lesson. As this is happening, Jags is at the restaurant with Habiba, she is praising him of how proud she is of him finally standing up to his Mum, as she is complimenting her boyfriend, Iqra sees them from a distance, it's clear to her that they have been dating, she's glad to see her sister looking happy, she suggests to them to finally come out and make their relationship public, much to Jag's surprise, Habiba agrees and sets a time to tell Jags' family.
At the Mitchell household, it looks as if Phil is running past Callum some things he wants him to check out at the police station, does he want to know how much the police have on him? No matter how small it may be! As Callum agrees, Ben enters the room, to which Phil responds to leaving the room. Ben knows that his Dad his boyfriend to do something. Callum reveals that actually he wants him to check all the files of Raymond's adoptive family, clearly this is going to be Phil's way of getting all the information that he needs to set up a case for maybe fighting for custody? Ben's concern is Callum could lose his job if he keeps helping his Dad, but he reassures his boyfriend that everything will be under control.
Meanwhile, at the Prince Albert, Tina is finally catching up with Frankie. She informs her of how great and successful her Drag Bingo night was! At first the conversation between them both seems friendly, they're both smiling and laughing. It's only when Tina turns to conversation around and mentions her advances the night before, Frankie starts to go cold, Tina tries to reassure her that it's okay to be shy, she in fact finds it really cute. Frankie stands her ground and insists that she's not shy, something is possibly telling me that Frankie isn't really gay? Or maybe she is but yet knows she can't get too close to Tina? I'm unsure. As soon as Tina mentions the photos that Frankie has taken of her and her family, Tina plays - thinking it's because she has a crush on her and reaches for the camera on the side of the bar. As she does so, Frankie lunges towards it at the same time and the camera ends up falling off the bar counter and smashes. Frankie is left devastated as Tina is more than apologetic.
Whilst this is happening, Max finds Linda in the laundrette, you can sense the awkwardness between them. Linda is clearly not wanting to be anywhere near Max right now, as Mick mentioned earlier in the soap, she was meant to be meeting up with Max and children so they could have a little play-date. As Max questions where she had been, Linda shrugs it off and uses the excuse of taking Ollie to school instead. This seems like a reasonable explanation, Max tries to apologise, insisting that what happened between them last night, he doesn't want to affect the children's friendship and play-dates. Linda assures him that the children will still have their time to play together, as he goes to leave the building, a tiny little voice emerges from the back, calling for his Mummy, we see the tiny silhouette of little Ollie. Max turns gets the message instantly as he looks at Linda, with that, he leaves.
Then at the Minute Mart, Suki and Vinny are discussing a message that Jags has sent them all, meeting at the Vic to show them something and begging them to not be angry. Vinny tries to assure his Mother that it'll be an apology for the way he behaved the night before. Suddenly, a Detective enters the shop, as they both clap eyes on him, Suki signals for Vinny to leave the room as she speaks with the Detective. It appears that due to no one coming forward or them not being able to find any form of finger-prints or DNA as to who attacked Martin Fowler and who broke into the shop, they will be closing the case and moving on to other things. Of course this is the news Suki has been waiting for! This must surely mean that Vinny is in the clear?! She puts on a front to the Detective and as she plays victim, but truthfully she'll be as pleased as punch!
The next scene, we're at Ruby's club where Gray is meeting his colleague, Laura. We learn from this meeting two things. One - Whitney's day in court is coming up, and two Chantelle's funeral is tomorrow! Gray is insistent that he is wanting to come to court to fight for Whitney, I guess you could say that he begs his colleague to let him take on Whitney's case. It's true that he's been doing everything he can to win Whitney's case and to stop her going to prison, he has been working so so hard, but Laura worries that he might not be in the right frame of mind, considering he's just lost his wife. But Gray is adamant, he makes the point that he has the rest of his life to grieve for Chantelle, if she'll just let him do this for Whitney. What do you think? I'm not sure what to think of this one, I could be completely wrong, but I think with all the stress and pressure that Gray is under right now, plus I guess you could say he is grieving to - I think he could potentially ruin Whitney's case and balls it all up! That's just my guess, but who knows what's going to happen? Will he be able to pull it off and help Whitney?!
Back at the Prince Albert, Tina is informing Mick about her encounter with Frankie. She tells him everything, on how she's feeling guilty and embarrassed for making a move on the poor girl, to then accidently causing her to smash her camera. Mick tells his sister again that it might be best if she was to stay away, but Tina goes on to mention to Mick the similarities between Frankie and the Carter family. Mainly Ollie, she mentions to him that Frankie supposedly had a younger brother who was Ollie's age, who was also autistic, as Mick is taking in all this information, I think he's come to realise there is something more dodgy about Frankie than he first realised. What is she playing at? What is her game and what does she want with the Carter family? As Mick is bringing together his thoughts about Frankie, Linda calls him, asking him to come an pick his son up. Little do we know that as she hangs up the phone, Frankie has appeared at the laundrette. Ollie is wanting to go to the park, so Frankie offers to take him, much to Linda's surprise. As a precaution, Linda asks her son if he feels comfortable going to the park with her, the little boy nods and Linda agrees to let Frankie take him. Is she making a big mistake? What is Mick going to think when he finds out? As this storyline goes on, I'm really intrigued to see what happens - I can't wait for Frankie's big reveal!
At the Vic, Habiba can be seen looking pretty nervous for what is about to happen. Vinny, Ash and Suki are waiting for Jags to turn up, they're speculating what Jag's news could be. As Suki makes herself comfortable, Jags enters the bar and approaches his family, he announces "I'd like to introduce my girlfriend!" he looks over and Habiba approaches them from the other end of the bar. Ash and Vinny are clearly in shock, Vinny - more disbelief! Ash's response is that her girlfriend, Habiba's sister, Iqra never mentioned anything to her. Habiba is shy and polite as she greets Suki with a cupcake. Suki looks at her up and down, asks the question whether they are serious about each other and that's when Jags and Habiba admit that they do in fact love each other. Everyone is visibly happy for the couple, all except Suki! We can see the glare in her eyes, but once again, she puts on a front and welcomes Habiba to the family. She insists that all that matters to her is her children's happiness, but as she leaves the Vic, we can see that she is less than impressed and chucks her cupcake in the bin!
Back at the Prince Albert, Mick sees Linda approaching, he notices that Ollie isn't with her. He asks whether Max has taken him to the park, but Linda then reveals that he's actually with Frankie. Mick's face drops! Of course, Linda can't understand why Mick is so concerned, she tells him that Frankie is good and she knows about autistic children, but that doesn't stop Mick in his tracks as he dashed off to collect his son. Meanwhile, Callum is shining Lexi's tap shoes all ready for her dance grading. Ben is surprised to his boyfriend at home, asking whether he should be working. Callum assures him that he wouldn't miss Lexi's dance for the world, he'll go to the police station tomorrow instead. He then goes on to explain to his boyfriend that, just because he's helping Phil out now and again, it doesn't mean that things have to change between them. He reveals that the only reason he's helping Phil out, is for Ben alone. As Ben goes to help his daughter find her dress, Callum gets a phone call - from what we can make out, the police station. It looks as if he's needed at the station promptly, he tries his best to explain that he can't do what they're asking him right now, but as he hears more he realises he has to leave. Could this mean he's going to miss Lexi's dance? Will there be more disappointment ahead for Ballum?
Back with Suki, we can see she's in cafe! At first I'm watching this feeling very confused, it looks like she's talking to herself? Is she trying to find the right words to say to Jags about his relationship with Habiba?! We hear her saying things such as looking after her children and not wanting them to make the wrong choices in life ... OH MY GOD! My jaw has just dropped!!! She's only gone and stitched her own son up for the attack on Martin!!! She's sat with the Detective and in a plain see-through bag, we can see Jag's blood-stained jeans. I don't know about you guys, but I think Suki has become one of the most nastiest females on the soap that we've seen for a long time! I don't think there's been an evil female since Janine, perhaps? Is Suki up there with Janine? Do you hate her as much as I do! I'd love to know your thoughts on Suki!
At the park, Mick has finally found Frankie with Ollie. Mick demands to know where Ollie is, Frankie points and we can see the young boy playing happily in the park. Frankie apologises for worrying him and assures him that Ollie is fine. But Mick is having none of her politeness, he knows something about her isn't quite right. He tries to be sympathetic with her, saying that how she losing a young brother must've been hard for her, but he needs to know what's going on. He decides to ask her all the important questions there and then, why is she so interested in their family? Why has she been leading Tina on? Frankie apologises for leading his sister on, she tries to simply say that she just wanted to be her friend, wanted to be Linda and Mick's friend also. But something doesn't fit right with Mick, why did she take the photos? Frankie realises that this conversation is beginning to escalate, she tells him to forget about it, but he simply can't. What does she want with his family? It's then that Frankie drops the huge bombshell - she believes that Mick could in actual fact be her Dad!
Now, as big as that reveal is! My first question is, who could is Frankie's mother? As far as I know, Mick as only ever been with Linda, as far as they've made out, they've been together since school? Mick and Linda are childhood sweethearts, right? So who the hell could be Frankie's mother? Did Mick perhaps cheat on Linda years back? Was it a one-off? Is Frankie the result of a one night stand? I know these are so many questions, but this is what's running through my mind at the moment! We know there's going to be a new character arriving in the Square, and they also have something to do with the Carter family, the name of the new character has not yet been revealed, all we know is that it's a female. Could she be Frankie's Mum?! It might make perfect sense, Frankie appears to be on her own at the moment, we don't know where she has come from or who her family are. Is EastEnders going to be working on a full story for Frankie, is she going to become a more regular part of the soap and have her own Mother move to the Square, just to make life hell for Mick and the Carter's? I think it makes perfect sense! I am so convinced that that is what is going to happen. I could be completely wrong, but I am so looking forward to seeing how Frankie's story progresses, I really like her character and I hope she'll be a part of the soap for the foreseeable future.
Please feel free to leave me message, I'd love to know your thoughts on tonight's episode. I'll be back tomorrow following Tuesday's episode. Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone! xXx

"You Come Near My Wife Again, I'll Kill You!"
Thursday 18th February 2021
Hello again everyone! How are we all? After this post I will finally be up to date, I apologise how long it's taken me, but I'm happy to be able to catch up and review Thursday's episode!
Wow!!! This was episode was absolutely brilliant, everyone was kind of involved with each other in one way or another, it was as if everything and everyone entwined to get to this big moment! The first thing I'm going to focus on is Martin, Kush, Ruby and Stacey! After Iqra dropped the bombshell on Martin, informing him that Ruby was the brains behind the robbery at the Minute Mart, causing him to get attacked, he approaches his best friend, Kush, asking for his opinion and his advice. Could Ruby really be to blame? I guess it's understandable for Martin to find it hard to believe that his new wife could be to blame, however we and of course Kush knows more about Ruby than he's letting on. Kush suggests that Martin should just ask his new wife straight out, but Martin fears that if he was wrong, things will go down the path of another divorce and a broken family. (Although, when he finds out the truth, it's going to come to that anyway, right?) He tries his absolute best to convince himself that Iqra had got her facts wrong.
However, Kush only knows too well what Ruby is capable of. In need of searching for some more advice, Kush leans on Stacey, informing her about what Martin has revealed to him. But the most interesting thing is that Kush finally reveals to her that Ruby actually gave him money to run away with Arthur. Stacey, at first, can't seem to understand why Ruby would want to mess with her family and take away her child, but eventually it all makes sense! Ruby is jealous of Stacey's past with Martin and is desperate to have him all to herself! But she's done some really terrible things to get what she wants, even paying someone to attack Stacey in the streets! Stacey even suspects that Ruby could even be lying about being pregnant, as there still hasn't been any physical evidence of a pregnancy. So, instead of Kush having to worry about breaking up his friend's marriage, Stacey is adamant that she's going to reveal all of Ruby's lies to Martin and make him see what kind of person he's married!
As Martin returns to see his wife at work, she drops a huge hint that she has taken the afternoon off so they could have some "Fun" together, seductively wiping the paper off of her office desk. But unfortunately for Ruby, it's clear to see that Martin clearly isn't interested in getting intimate with his wife, especially after the accusations he's heard about her. Ruby can't seem to understand his reluctance, but he simply states that he's not in the mood. It seems as if every time Ruby has some alone time with her husband, she's wanting to get intimate, is this truly some kind of pregnancy hormone she has or, as we've been speculating, is she really not pregnant and is desperate to make her lie become the truth?!
--
Okay so this is where things are going to get interesting, before we delve into the fiasco regarding Phil, Max, and Mick, I just want to mention the little friendship blossoming between Sharon and Jean! I absolutely love it! I don't think we've ever seen these two be so pally, but it looks as if Jean has actually been there for Sharon, giving her advice on Phil. At first, she claimed that she believed that Sharon and Phil belonged together, almost getting Sharon's hope up that she might be able to rekindle her romance with him. However, when that didn't go to plan, Jean was there to once again be a friend and state to Sharon that she is a Queen and she could have any man she wanted, although there doesn't seem to be anyone else she's interested in. So, to cheer her up, Jean suggests having some chocolate - of course, chocolate always makes people happy! But when the go to the Minute Mart, Jean realises she's only 20p short and Suki is unwilling to let it slide, even though they offer to give it to her another time. As Jean looks visibly upset to leave the chocolate behind, Sharon quickly suggest that they be like Thelma and Louisa and nick the chocolate, stuffing the goodies up their tops! I just love how they both act like giggly school girls together, causing trouble. Not that I condone shop-lifting, but I just loved this moment between Jean and Sharon, I hope this won't just be a brief friendship, I do hope that this friendship blossoms and becomes something solid, what do you guys think?
Unfortunately, it looks as if Sharon's romance with Phil may have fizzled out and in Phil's eyes, be over. Phil seems to be enjoying some steamy time with Kat, what do you guys make of this pairing? I mean, it wasn't too long ago they were at each other's necks about money regarding their robbery attempt, now they're sleeping together! Crazy?! But as much as it appears to be a bit of fun right now, do you think it may lead to something more serious? After spending another night with Kat, he seems to realise that his deadline for Max is slowly coming to an end. Knowing that it's going to be difficult to get Sharon to sign the papers over, he takes a visit to Max, informing that he needs more time. But Max is having none of it and warns that if the Queen Vic papers aren't signed over to the Carter's by the end of the day, he will take the memory stick he has of all Phil's criminal history to the police!
--
Before his confrontation with Phil, Max was on the street of Walford, of course he was looking for Linda, but he ended up bumping into Stacey. I have to mention this brief interaction, as Stacey states that it had been 11 years since Bradley's death! I can't even begin to believe it's been that long the soap has been without Bradley, I have to be honest though, it makes me happy that still after all this time, they still mention his name. He hasn't been forgotten! There are some deaths that you do forget about, but the likes of Pat, Peggy, Ronnie, Roxy, Danielle, Barry, Jamie - you just don't forget and Bradley is one of them too! I also loved the fact that after all this time, Stacey still holds a photograph of him in her purse. I don't know about you guys but I feel that Bradley will always be her one true love! She questions whether Max had remembered the day, but admits he tries not to think about it as it hurts too much. It's then he clocks Linda and hurries to catch her, he claims that he understands why she chose Mick over him to which she is a little confused, but he informs her that he actually knows the full reason why. To her shock, Linda is absolutely devastated and is desperate to know how he found out the truth about Mick, Max admits he found out through Jack.
Now this is the biggest mistake he could've done! Informing Linda the truth, Jack arrives back at the house after Max has had his confrontation with Phil. Jack informs him that he knows that Max has spoken to Linda, because it's all turned back on him. Linda went to the police station and complained and now it's caused Jack to be suspended and potentially lose his job! Because of Max's selfish acts once again, he's put his brother's job in jeopardy! In an attempt to try and do the right thing, Jack decides to apologise to Mick, even though he's completely unaware that they know about his past. But this is where it all kicks off! Jack fully admits that he told Max about Mick's past, but the only reason Jack found out was plainly innocent, seeing him at the police station. This information get's a bit too much for Mick and he knows he has to confront Max once and for all!
--
Whilst all this happening, Phil takes it upon himself to visit Sharon at the Vic. He informs her that she basically has no choice in selling the Vic over to the Carter's. As much as it hurts her and she's adamant she doesn't want to leave, Phil questions whether she is really really happy living there, I guess you could say it is emotional blackmail, but Phil is desperate to get himself out of trouble. He asks her if she had any feeling left for him, he would do as he's asking, otherwise he's going to end up in prison! Phil informs her that Max has something dirty on him and if he was to hand it into the police, not just Phil, but possibly Sharon would be done for! He promises that even if the Vic gets back into the Carter's hands, he'll make sure Sharon is looked after and provided for.
Finally it all comes to this point as everyone gathers in the Vic, Max walks in waiting to hear news from Phil, eventually Phil comes down and informs him that they have a deal, Sharon is willing to sign the Queen Vic over back to Mick and Linda. In exchange, Max willingly hands over the memory stick. However, Max's smug face doesn't last for long as Mick and Linda both enter the Vic and approach him. Max acknowledges them and informs them that he has good news, but Mick isn't interested in hearing it. He warns Max just simply stay away from his wife. But Max just doesn't seem to listen does he? He kind of oversteps the mark here, he claims the only reason why Linda is still with him, is out of pity! Mick only responds by giving Max a good punch in the face, making him fly across the room and collapsing in a booth! I also have to state I don't condone violence, but Max had it coming really didn't he?!
Overall a brilliant episode, I loved how everything linked and came together! Brilliant script writing and amazing performances from everyone involved. Jake Wood, Danny Dyer, Steve McFadden, Scott Maslen - everyone! I apologise for this post being late, but I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it! I'll be back again tomorrow following Friday's episode! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx

"Do You Really Think You Can Live With That? Do You?!"
Tuesday 16th February 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all having a good week! As promised, I'm making sure I catch up completely so by the time tonight's episode (Thursday) is aired, I'll be able to review that tomorrow morning! That way I'm all up to date along with the rest of you! There's quite a lot going on in the soap at the minute, I'm really looking forward to seeing which direction the storylines will go! Monday's episode ended with a bit of a surprise - Phil and Kat?! Let's see if things follow up from that! Anyway let's jump straight into Tuesday's episode.
The first thing I'm going to focus on is Ash and Peter! So the episode begins with them returning from a night out, it looks as if they've been out all night drinking, as much as Peter is eager to keep fun going, Ash is adamant that she wants to go home as she's beginning to feel really rough. However, once again Peter still attempts to hit on her, I don't know about you guys, but is anyone else finding Peter, I don't know a bit, desperate? She jokes that even if he was to run around the Square naked, she still wouldn't be interested in him, but then her innocent joke turns out to be a bet, something which Peter decides to go through with. Later on when Ash is home sobering up, she receives a knock on the door. to her shock Peter is stood on her front door step, wearing a cape and joking gear, however, taking her up on her bet he decides to strip down to nothing, wearing only the cape and jog around the Square. Of course the locals, including Ash and Stacey enjoy watching the show Peter puts on for them, personally - I found it cringeworthy - I don't know, some people might've found it funny, I mean as respectable as the way it was filmed, I just found it cringey! But the one part I did find hilarious was when Peter got so far and actually ended up falling flat on his face! I have to admit, I did laugh out loud when that happened, not meaning to be harsh! It eventually becomes clear that Peter has really injured his head, so Ash takes it upon himself to rush him to the hospital, however this decision soon becomes her biggest mistake.
Whilst Peter is getting seen too, the nurse is constantly getting interrupted to handle other situations, Peter notifies that he's in agony and begs Ash to give him the morphine he's been prescribed. However, Ash knows full well she's not supposed to as she's not on duty, but seeing her friend pleading for the pain relief, she actually gives him the dose of morphine. Unfortunately, she should've stuck to her guns and not given him the dose, a nurse returns and sees the medication has been used, clearly someone has tampered with it or giving it to Peter without their knowledge. Peter claims to have done it to himself, but the nurse isn't convinced, Ash was the only one there who knew how to prescribe the morphine. Ash is in very very deep water right now, giving a patient medication, whilst not on duty, dressed in her pyjamas and also smelling of alcohol, this is not going to look good on her records. She ends up being suspended and under investigation! Peter has now caused his friend to be in deep trouble. I really don't know about you guys, but I really hope that Peter and Ash do not become a couple, I think Ask could do so much better than him! What do you guys think? Am I being unfair or do you maybe think the same thing? I've love to hear your thoughts!
--
The second thing I need to talk about is Iqra! I really do feel for her going through all this, knowing that her girlfriend lied to her and that her sister has now moved away and is pregnant with someone who is stuck in prison for something he didn't do! But since finding out the truth, knowing that Ruby was also involved with the attack against Martin, Iqra is finding it really difficult to keep quiet. Whilst in the Cafe, she happens to notice Martin walk in and attempting to be the polite neighbour she asks how is wife is, acknowledging that she hasn't seen his wife for a while, but when Martin mentions that Ruby isn't drinking at the moment, Iqra makes a joke asking whether or not she's pregnant, of course the look on Martin's face says it all and Iqra is surprised to hear the news, she congratulates him regardless. Martin begs her not to say anything as it's early days in the pregnancy and no one else knows, as Martin makes a quick exit, Vinny appears and approaches Iqra as she's sat alone, she tries to appeal to her good nature, trying to persuade her not to give up on Ash, he understands her disappointment for being lied to, but pleads her not to punish Ash for standing by her family and for something that actually he did instead of her. As much as it hurts her, there's a brief look she gives that looks as if that she's think that what Vinny is saying is true, all Ash was doing was really looking out for her family, regardless of the horrendous outcome. Later on as she's leaving the Cafe, she happens to witness the events taking place in the Square, (Peter running around naked), as she watches on she notices Ash from across the Square cheering Peter on. Iqra knows that she can't see herself getting back with Ash, there's too much water under the bridge and she appears to be moving on anyway, it's blatantly obvious that Ash and Peter have been flirting and Ash has done nothing to stop Peter's advances towards her. Iqra decides to escape the scene in front of her and head to the Vic.
Later she happens to spot both Ruby and Martin. It looks as if enough is enough for Iqra, why should Ruby enjoy what she's got while she knows her loved ones are having to suffer, especially considering that Ruby is to blame for everything. She discreetly congratulates Ruby on her pregnancy news, however Ruby looks mortified. Martin informs her that Iqra guessed, it's then that Iqra drops quite few hints regarding that fact that Habiba is pregnant and alone whilst Jags in prison. Ruby doesn't even bat an eyelid, informing her that her family issues has nothing to do with her. Interestingly, Martin mentions that he's glad that Jags is prison, of course from his point of view his children could've lost their Dad becomes of what he did - ONLY JAGS DIDN'T DO IT!!! As Martin leaves the Vic, Ruby warns Iqra to stay out of her marriage, but Iqra knows that Ruby has gone way too far, eventually she gets the courage to confront Martin, visiting him at home, knocking on his door and revealing the truth, Ruby was to blame for his attack as she was the one who paid Vinny to rob the shop! It wasn't Jags who attacked him, it was Vinny, but Ruby is to blame just as much as he is! Will Martin believe Iqra? As far as I know, things aren't going to be looking good for Ruby, I believe her world is going to crumble around her. Do you think she'll deserve it? Will Martin confront his wife?! I'm really eager to see where things go from here!
--
The final thing I need to mention is Phil! So during the previous episode, we saw Max searching high for low for type of documents of some kind, eventually he found a memory stick which hold all the criminal past of Phil! In this episode, it becomes perfectly clear why Max is looking for information on Phil, he takes it upon himself to give him a visit. He warns him that he has ever piece of criminal history on him on that memory stick, blackmailing him, teasing him that the police would have a field day if they got their hands on it. Phil knows he has to act fast in order for him not to pass it on to the police, he questions what Max is after, asking him how much money he is wanting in exchange for the memory stick. But Max isn't interested in money, instead he drops the bombshell that he wants him to sign the papers of the Queen Vic over to Mick Carter. Of course, in Max's mind, he's doing this for Linda - if he can get Mick his pub back, then Linda will be free to leave her husband and have a life with him. Unfortunately, I can't see it going that way. Phil is stunned and claims that it's not that easy as it's Sharon's home, but Max also states that the police will also be interested in learning what they both did to Ian. It comes to Phil's realisation that Max isn't messing around, he could ruin them if he didn't follow his instructions. Max announces that he'll give him 24 hours to get the papers signed over to Mick, otherwise the police will come knocking. Phil, at this moment, is kind of stuck in a corner. As much as it hurts him, he knows he has to inform Sharon.
Poor Sharon has absolutely no idea what's been going on. I find it funny yet awkward and cute that Sharon is hopeful in getting back with Phil. As she's chatting away with Jean, Jean acknowledges that she and Phil belong together - obviously, both of them are completely unaware that Kat had slept with him the previous evening. As Kat thinks on her feet, unless it's the guilt that's starting to eat away at her, she attempts to be nice to Sharon, mentioning that she could do so much better than Phil, she's a good looking woman and could have any young stud man she wanted. However, Sharon seems to take her compliment completely the wrong way, suggesting that Kat is mentioning someone like Keanu, who we all know she had an affair with. Kat tries to apologise but Sharon is having none of it, the two powerful women clash and Kat storms out. As she does so, she notices Phil waiting at the bar, it's then she mentions to him that she'll be ready for round two whenever he will be. Do you think Phil and Kat could become a new couple? Will this be more than just a romp? Who knows? Eventually Sharon notices Phil waiting at the bar, as she approaches him he asks whether they can talk privately. Jean eyes Sharon in a hopeful sort of way, getting poor Sharon's hopes up, but unfortunately Phil has only arrived to deliver the bad news. She's furious to learn about Max's threats and voices her fears about losing the place she loves most. However, Phil tries his absolute best to make her understand that having the Vic will not replace Dennis, plus the pub was bought with bloody money, how will she be able to live with herself knowing that? At least if they sign over to Mick Carter, everything would be legal and completely above board.
Will Sharon agree to giving the pub back to the Carter's? She's already been threatened by Linda, now Max is also threatening to go to the police, it looks almost as if they have no choice. I'm sure Phil won't see Sharon out onto the streets, but it looks as if if they want to keep the police away, they're going to have to do what they're being asked. How else can they make this problem go away? Overall, a really good episode I thought! I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next! I apologise for this post being late but I'll be back again tomorrow following Thursday's episode! Please feel free to leave me a comment or message, I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of the current storylines! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx

"I Thought I Should Pop Something On, Just In Case!"
Monday 15th February 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope your week is going well so far! I know I'm a couple of days behind, but as promised I'll be making a post every day this week to make sure that I'm fully up to date! Part of me is thinking I'm getting a little too invested in EastEnders lately, not that it's a bad thing, but is it weird that I had a dream where I was actually part of the cast and I got to call everyone by their character names and real names? I recall the main two I was more friendly with were Kush (Davood Ghademi) and Whitney (Shona McGarty)! Crazy right?! Ha!
Anyway, there's a lot for me to catch up on so let's jump into Monday's episode. The first thing I'm going to mention is Ash, it's been a while now since we've seen both her and Iqra after they had split up, but it looks as if Ash is finding the break up more difficult that Iqra is. I mean, of course, it was her fault for lying to Iqra for so long so she's bound to feel bad. It appears to either be the day after Valentines Day and Ash is devastated to have spent it alone, as she mopes to her Mum and to Vinny, Suki shows very little sympathy towards her daughter, informing her that she'll quickly move on and forget about Iqra, however Vinny is a little more sympathetic and advises his sister to tell Iqra exactly how she feels. Taking his brother's advice, she decides to make a visit to Iqra after buying her a huge bunch of flowers in an attempt to apologise. Unfortunately, Iqra isn't as forgiving as she was hoping for, regardless of professing her love for her. Iqra makes it perfectly clear that once they once shared as a couple, is now dead, much to Ash's devastation! I have to say though, the one thing I have noticed is that no matter where Ash is, Peter is always lingering like a bad smell! Sorry, but I find it awkward, creepy and pathetic how Peter is kind of chasing after Ash, even though it's been made clear that she is a lesbian! But, I do fear that eventually Ash will fall for Peter's advances ... I don't know about you guys, but I don't really see Peter and Ash being a couple, I really can't picture it! What about you guys?
--
The second thing I'm going to mention is Lucas and Chelsea. Even though he's agreed to transport the drugs to Ibiza for his daughter, he does fear the possibility of getting caught, especially considering the fact that he's meant to be on probation. When he attempts to voice his concerns to Chelsea, she has no sympathy for him and plainly demands that he needs to make sure he doesn't get caught! He tries to explain to her that he's doing the job simply for her, to keep his daughter safe. However Chelsea doesn't seem to care, it's fair to say that he's never really been a proper Dad to her, so why should feel a sense of thanks to him for doing this job for her. She mentions how he never took her on trips to the cinema or spoilt her with popcorn or takeaway food, she states that just because he's willing to take drugs to Ibiza, it doesn't make him Dad of the year! As much as those words hurt him, it looks as if they play on his mind, as later on when she arrives back to Lucas's apartment with information on when the job will be taking place, he notifies her of the lovely food and goodies he's gone to out of his way to make for her. He's really really trying, isn't he? He really wants to make up for lost time and try and be the Dad he's always wanted to be ... It's never too late right? Chelsea acknowledges the efforts he's gone through for her but mentions that it's going to take more than just burger and chips, but as she looks back to the glorious food, a little smile spreads across her face! You guys saw that smile, right?! She definitely smiled! ... So we know Lucas is going to be taking the drugs to Ibiza next month, what are we thinking is going to happen? Will everything go to plan? Or could Lucas get into trouble or even danger?!
--
The next thing I'm going to mention is Max and The Carter's. After finding out the truth from Jack about the real reason why Linda decided to stay with Mick, Max seems to have completely done a U-turn! He spots Linda waiting outside the Minute Mart and takes his opportunity to approach her civilly. Without giving too much away that he knows the truth, he acknowledges that there's no hard feelings between them and that he completely understands her decision to stay with her husband. Linda seems thankful and grateful for him being understanding, but something tells me that when she finds out why, she's not going to be happy! Surprisingly, Max even greets Mick as he walks out of the shop, but of course Mick still holds some kind of hatred towards him so completely ignores the man and walks away. As Linda follows her husband, Max watches them walk away into the distance. Jack notices his brother interacting with Linda and voices his concerns on what he might've said, but Max reassures him that he never said anything, but the one thing he does mention is that he claims it's obvious that Linda still wants him and she's only with Mick out of sympathy! Unless Max is desperate for the woman he's fallen in love with, I really don't see how he is able to convince himself that Linda still wants him. Mick and Linda, Linda and Mick - they fit together like a hand and glove - even though they've had many ups and downs, I truly think that they are going to be a couple which EastEnders will never break apart. They belong together, I'm sure the majority of you must agree?
As the Carter's get back to their apartment, Mick comes to realise that every time he sees Max on the Square, the thought of him being with his wife intimately is going to haunt him, he admits to Linda that the only way they'll be able to move forward is if they sit down and she tells him everything that happened between them. Of course Linda feels that this might make things worse, does her husband really want to know the details of her infidelity? But Mick seems more than willing to just sit and listen to what she has to say, Linda stresses the fact that it wasn't Mick's fault, but she explains that whilst Mick was struggling with his past and wasn't talking to anyone, she felt like she was being pushed away, almost as if he didn't want her anymore. She states that she got pushed away so close to the edge that she very much wanted to have a drink, and Max was there to stop her from taking that drink she so desperately wanted. She claims that it was just a friendship to begin with, but each time she tried to get close to her husband, he wouldn't open up or lash out at her and she ended up falling into Max's arms, just because she wanted to feel wanted, loved. I actually found this moment quite upsetting but yet really touching, they come to the conclusion that all the really want now is each other, Mick wants his "L" back and Linda wants her "Mick" back just as they used to be. Meanwhile, as they are having this heart-to-heart, Max appears to rummaging through all sorts of files and documents, desperate to find something. What an Earth could he be looking for? Eventually when he sits down to his laptop he finds a document on Phil ... What on Earth does he want with Phil?! I'm sure guys know already, but I'm finding it a bit intriguing. We know he's desperately wanting Linda back, but what has that got to do with Phil?! I'm looking forward to finding out!
--
The final thing I'm going to talk about is Sharon and Phil! After everything they've been through, regarding Dennis and Ian, Phil and Sharon are trying to move forward and put everything behind them. It's fair to say that they both share a love for a young boy who sadly lost his life, Dennis seems to have been the main thing which has brought them back together. They had agreed to go for a meal that evening, even though Ben overhears their discussion of their plans and feels the need to voice his concern to his Dad, warning him that she'll only be after his money! But Phil being Phil, he tells his son not to worry and let him worry about his own concerns, he knows whether Sharon will be legit or not. Regardless of his Dad's warning, Ben seems to worry that after everything Sharon has put his Dad through, she simply isn't good enough for him! As Phil heads off to meet Sharon at the restaurant, he can't help but notice she's being chatted up by a young male - as he watches them from a distance, as much as Sharon is laughing along and the interaction being quite innocent, it looks as if he can't get past the fact that it reminds him too much of her and Keanu. I mean, it's understandable, right?
He decides to head off back to the Arches, leaving Sharon to wait in the restaurant alone. However as he makes his way back to the building, Kat catches up with him, acknowledging that he had a promised her a decent car earlier in the day to help her get to her cleaning job, but the one he left simply isn't good enough. Being typical Kat, she mentions that she wants a refund, but of course in brilliant Kat-like way, she pushes up her breasts and pouts her lips. As Sharon realises she has been stood up, she takes it upon herself to track down Phil, eventually finding him in the Arches. She bangs loudly on the door and he responds by opening the door ever so slightly, enough room for him to peak his head through. Phil apologises that he shouldn't have left her sitting on her own but admits that he couldn't bring himself to have dinner with her, with everything that happened after Keanu, he still doesn't feel he can go back there with her. Regardless of that, he's still going to make sure the Vic will remain in her name, that is what he has promised her and mentions that he will not break that promise! As much as she appreciates his promise, when she slowly walks away from the Arches we see a small tear fall down her cheek, maybe she really did want things to work out with Phil after all? Only, without her knowledge, as Phil closes the door and looks back into the building, Kat makes herself known as she reveals herself wearing mechanic overalls with just her underwear underneath!
Now, Phil and Kat is a intimate pairing that I never thought I'd see! Is it really just a one-off? A random romp? A one night stand? Or is this going to be the beginning of a new romance? What do you guys think? How will Sharon react when she learns that Phil has slept with Kat? Will it be something that Phil or even Kat live to regret? Who knows? It's a very interesting and surprising ending to an episode, I have to be honest! I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next! Thank you all for reading! I'll be back again tomorrow following Tuesday's episode, and then I should be completely up to date! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx

"You Want A War?! You Got One!"
Tuesday 20th October 2020
Hello again folks! Hope you're having a good day so far! I really enjoyed writing about Monday's episode, I'm really hoping Tuesday's will be just as good. My plan was going to attempt two blog posts today but  I've decided it will be a lot easier for me to do one post a night. Seeing as I'm not working on Saturday, I can write up about Friday's episode then and follow tonight's episode tomorrow. That will leave me with next week not being behind, I hope I've not annoyed any of you with this, and I apologise in advance if I have. But I just want to do the best I can with this blog and I just want let to you guys know that I am still committed to do this 100% ... life just seems to get in the way sometimes. Anyway, let's jump right into Tuesday's episode and see what's going on in Walford!
The episode starts with Phil still reeling from the recent news he's learned about Ellie. Ben is adamant that his Dad shouldn't be going in with all guns blazing, he even asks his Dad if he wants him to go along. But Phil instructs his son to get things in the house ready for a 3 year old, as not matter what, he'll be bringing Raymond home! But something tells me, it's not going to be as simple as that! Is going to be walking into a war or a trap? We already know the Ellie was to blame for Raymond's parents passing away, what is she going to do next?
At the Beale household, Ian finds Peter and informs him that he has transferred some money into his account, not just his allowance but a little extra. Is he literally buying his son's silence?! I'd like to think Peter is smarter than that, maybe in time he'll come to realise that his Dad is lying to them all. As Ian leaves, Kathy can be seen doing her make-up, getting herself ready for her date with Iain. She confides in her Grandson that she's feeling nervous, more to the fact that the fella doesn't even know her real age. Peter tells his Gran not to worry and that the date will go smoothly. Just as Peter happens to mention the word "Date" - Bobby appears and is shocked to hear that his Gran is going out to meet some stranger, but I think the main issue is that he's upset she's going outside during a pandemic and after taking precautions during lockdown, she should be careful as she's vulnerable. Something tells me that this has something to do with Bobby's OCD storyline, recently he's been constantly reminding everybody to wash their hands and be careful, I might be jumping the gun here, but are EastEnders going to make Coronavirus a storyline? Meaning, is Kathy going to catch it while going on her date and become really unwell, or will Bobby end up getting it after being incredibly careful. Who knows? I could be completely wrong, but it would be an interesting outcome, don't you guys think?!
Meanwhile, in the Vic Stacey and Kat are cleaning whilst Lily sits and watches as she's playing on her tablet. This was a very interesting conversation between Stacey and Kat. Kat just happens to mention that she saw Ruby with a designer handbag that Martin has supposedly bought her for her birthday. Stacey seems a little upset by this news and she appears jealous as she mentions that the best presents that Martin ever bought her were a CD and paint! It's the next part which Lily seems to listen really closely too, she's obviously aware that her Mum is feeling sad about Martin and Ruby being together, but to let off some steam, Stacey will shout and probably say things that she doesn't mean, it's then she mentions Ruby having "Daddy issues" and she's had them ever since her Dad saved the wrong daughter in a house fire. Lily picks up on what her Mother has said, what is she going to do with this new information?!
At the Cafe, Habiba is eager to get Ash and Iqra on side to go to court with her to support Jags. Ash reveals that Suki and Kheerat are going and everyone thought it was best if no else went. Habiba is saddened to hear that Ash isn't doing anything to save her brother. Everyone knows that Jags is innocent, but no one is willing to tell the truth. Iqra offers to go with her sister for support, Habiba accepts and they both leave to head off to court.
In the Arches, Phil is looking that he's waiting for someone, checking his watch and the clock on the wall. Suddenly, Ellie walks in, personally, I feel there's going to be some kind of row going on, but Phil plays the sympathy/guilty card. Explaining that he knows everything regarding the car crash that Raymond's parents were in. He tries to convince her that Raymond would be better off with him and his family, he'll be safer - seeing as Ellie has put her Grandson's life in danger and what's going to stop her from doing it again?! Ellie then plays dirty, she scoffs at Phil's words, informing him that she has also done her homework and found out everything about Ben, Louise and even Dennis. Phil looks a little bit defeated that he's been caught out, but then Ellie changes her tune, she admits that she can see how much Raymond means to him, and she even goes on to say that she'll let Phil have him. Phil, however, does look a bit suspicious, what's the catch?! Oh - only £150,000! Ellie announces she'll let him have Raymond for 150 grand!!! How the hell is Phil going to find that kind of money?!
Meanwhile at the restaurant, Kathy is preparing herself for her date, she takes a deep breath and turns the corner to find a - dare I say - dashing gentleman waiting at a table. He spots her and he seems really happy to see her, clearly a little nervous but ever more happy to see her turn up. As Kathy takes a seat you can see she is also nervous, mainly due to the fact that the poor man isn't aware of her real age. He makes a point about going on dates and ending up being catfished, meaning that the person who turns up doesn't turn out to be who they make out they are online. Kathy can only give a small smile, she must be feeling a little guilty, perhaps feeling that she's leading the poor guy on. Something tells me she might come clean by the end of her date, but who knows? Will it be a success?!
At the Prince Albert, Ash and Peter - surprisingly two other characters I never thought we'd see share a scene. But from what I can make out, they both have a little bit in common, Ash is wallowing her thoughts and fears about her brother going to prison for something he didn't do. Peter is also battling demons about his own Dad, wondering whether to trust him or not. They're both dealing with deep family issues right now, and it looks as if as they continue their conversation, they have some mutual understanding of each other and what the other is going through. I could be looking into something that isn't there, but do I sense a bit of flirtation as Peter offers to buy her a drink? I mean, sure, anyone can offer someone a drink without it be flirtatious, but I don't know - something told me that maybe there might've been something there. But who knows, Ash I believe is happy with Iqra, so who knows what could happen? This is EastEnders after all!
Back at the restaurant, it looks as if Kathy's date with Iain is going brilliantly! They're both giggling and enjoying each other's company. But it looks as if Iain is asking Kathy really awkward questions, questions which are having to make her lie about her family, such as Peter being her son instead of Grandson. Is she going to keep up the pretence that she's younger than what she actually is?! I mean, I said it last night, Kathy is looking fabulous at 70 and she shouldn't be afraid to be proud of her age! I think Kathy is a stunning looking woman, gorgeous hair with a beautiful dress sense, with a gorgeous smile - what's not to like? Who cares if she's 70? I hope eventually Kathy will admit the truth and hopefully Iain won't find the age-gap a big deal! Kathy deserves some happiness! Later on as they leave the restaurant together, Kathy invites Iain to the Prince Albert, things are looking great when suddenly Kathy takes a nasty tumble as she twists her ankle and falls to the floor. Ash, Peter and Bobby rush to Kathy's aid insisting that she needs to go the hospital to get herself looked at. Iain is a bit blaséabout it, saying she "Just tripped" - something you do never say when a woman falls over! In my opinion, if a woman ever falls over, people should do the decent thing and make sure she's okay - no matter what her age may be! As Peter and Ash plead Kathy to go the hospital, it's then that Peter slips up and calls her "Gran" - much to Iain's surprise, it's then that Kathy admits her real age and admits she's feeling incredibly foolish. I feel sad for Kathy at this point, everything was going so well before her nasty fall - I hope Iain will maybe look past it, but who knows? Did any of you also notice that when Bobby saw his Nan fall, he started counting, clearly to cope and calm his breathing after what he's just witnessed.
At the club, Stacey is looking for Martin, but Ruby appears to be in the middle of something with a supplier, she's refusing to sign for items she didn't order. Stacey watches on as she's being hounded by the delivery driver, surprisingly she stands up for her ex-friend and basically tells the delivery guy to do one! Ruby seems surprised that she's stood up for her, in an attempt to rekindle their friendship, she asks her friend to stay for a drink. As Stacey and Ruby are drinking, it looks as if things aren't going to be as easy as saying "Sorry!" - they are both really strong feisty females and to be fair, they have both done wrong to each other in recent months. Stacey makes the valid point that any man in Stacey's life, Ruby also seems to get her hands on - Sean, Max, Martin, but then again Ruby comes back with another valid point, that she didn't pretend to be her! It's true that they are both best friends and they're the only friend's each of them has got right now, will they be able to look past everything that's happened and move on?
Meanwhile, in the Vic, Habiba is looking absolutely heartbroken, it looks as if Jags has been sentenced to four years in prison for his attack on Martin Fowler. Habiba is devastated that her boyfriend has gone down for something he didn't do, she announces to her sister how much she hates the Panesar family for watching and doing nothing to save Jags. It's then she informs Iqra that she no longer wants Ash living with them. Is Iqra going to be forced to make a huge decision, whether to ask her girlfriend to leave or whether to move out with her girlfriend and leave Habiba alone. Back at the club, Suki and Vinny are also discussing Jags, Vinny is still adamant that he should've taken Jag's place, but Suki shrugs it off and tells him to man up, prison will be the making of Jags - apparently.
As soon as Suki leaves the club, the camera spans across and we find Stacey and Ruby again. Stacey is quick to say that she needs to get off to find Lily. But suddenly, Lily walks in admitting that she's been in the club office the whole time, both Ruby and Stacey are shocked to find her. Stacey is quick to ger home but Lily - oooh she's become such a little madam hasn't she - She's can't understand why her Mum and Ruby are now socialising? She opens her mouth and puts her Mum right in it, revealing what Stacey had said about her previously to their meeting. Stacey is horrified with her daughter, Ruby is just as shocked. It's then that Ruby begins to play the evil stepmum, she promises Lily can have a takeaway with herself and Martin whenever she likes, much to Stacey's annoyance. Stacey gives Ruby a warning, she is nothing to Lily and never will be and she warns her to stay away! Something tells me it's going to be a long time until Ruby and Stacey are friends again, something is also telling me that somehow it'll affect the children. Also I'm thinking that Lily is going to become a very twisted little girl, causing so much trouble and causing havoc in her family, ruining relationships and perhaps spreading lies about everyone. What do you guys think of the new Lily?! It's going to be quite a while to get used to, Lily was such a lovely little girl and now she's turned into such a spoilt brat!
Back at Beale household, Bobby can be seen once again cleaning extravagantly. Wearing gloves and counting the amount of times he's wiping the picture frame. Peter comes in and calls out to him, informing that their Gran has been in agony since her fall. He walks in to find vases and picture frames placed on dining room table, Bobby is breathless as he violently wipes clean every inch of the vase, counting to five as he does so. I've never been one to understand OCD, but it must be hell to live with, but then again I guess I kind of have the understanding that the people feel the need to do things until they feel completely safe. Peter looked concerned for his brother, will he confide in his Dad or Nan about what he's witnessed?!
The final scene of this episode, Phil has gotten the money together to give to Ellie. He walks in the Arches to find Ellie waiting for him, without Raymond! Ben quickly follows his Dad to see what's going on. Phil throws the duffle bag with 80 grand inside, insisting that he needs more time to get the rest. Ellie seems very unimpressed but it's only when Ben begins to plead to his Dad to not give Ellie more money that she starts to squirm. Ben makes a very good point that she could bleed Phil dry for years at the promise of getting Raymond eventually. Part of me is hoping that Phil will listen to his son, as much as Phil is desperate to be reunited with his son, he can't afford to lose all his money. He can't risk giving the money to Ellie, to then have her do a runner and not keep her word. Phil agrees with Ben and informs Ellie that she's not going to receive another penny from him! If Phil wants Raymond, he's going to do things properly with solicitors and possibly even take Ellie to court - it looks as if we've got a custody battle on our hands!!! Ooooh I am so looking forward to seeing the outcome of this! What do you guys think? Will Phil eventually be able to welcome Raymond back into his life? Or is there going to be many dark twists and turns along the way?!
Thank you guys for reading! I hope you're enjoying my blog. I'll be back tomorrow following tonight's episode! Thank you for your continued support! Enjoy the rest of your week! Love you all xXx

"I'm Going To Plead Guilty!"
Friday 9th October 2020
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all keeping okay. Finally I'll be getting all up to date and writing about Friday's episode today. I'm not going to keep you all hanging, let's jump straight to it! After the events on what happened the previous day, Whitney is stood in the Courtroom alone, after how Gray acted in court, she can't seem to get it out of her mind. As Sonia joins her, she worries that Gray could be having some kind of mental breakdown. Sonia instructs her not to think about Gray, today is about her and it's her time to have her say! But has the damage already been done?!
At home, Gray is sat on the stairs, clinging to their stair banister, as Keegan is banging on his front door, telling him that the family need to see him to make sure he's okay. He did a disappearing act at his wife's funeral, surely the Taylor family are going to realise that something isn't right with Gray. He is struggling more now than before. At the Minute Mart, Billy is doing everything he can to try and cheer Karen up, he suggests taking her away from the Square just for the day, but Karen is insistent she needs to be around for Mack and Mia. She is clearly still grieving for her daughter but I think most importantly, she's feeling the need to perhaps talk to Gray, she wants an explanation as to why he missed his wife's funeral! As she leaves the shop, Honey praises Billy for trying to do the right thing. She realises it was him who got Mitch and Karen talking again. This little moment between Honey and Billy was really pretty cute, they're a bit like Kat and Alfie aren't they? I truly believe that Honey and Billy belong together! Don't you guys agree? I do kind of sense there is something still there between the two.
At the Carter household, Mick is looking over paperwork for his day in court. Linda joins him and asks if he's okay. Do any of you guys feel that their marriage is currently on the rocks right now? They're not talking to one another, they're keeping secrets from each other and the way they're speaking to each other isn't really very nice. I think it's been a while since Mick called Linda '"L"? It's also been a long time since either of them of showed the other any affection. Mick informs his wife that he's contemplating telling the truth about what he saw the night Leo died. But Linda is quick to tell him not to! She worries that if he does he'll be sent down for perverting the course of justice! She tells him he doesn't have a choice other than sticking to what he said in his statement, Mick then drops the line "So you're the only one who gets to tell the truth?" - is he making a dig at his wife for coming clean about the kiss she had with Max?! But little does he know that she's also not informing him about the big sip of alcohol she had the other night!
Meanwhile at the Taylor household, Karen is still grief stricken as she unloads her grocery shopping, both Mitch and Keegan are there as she rants about Gray not being there for Chantelle, she can't understand why he would leave her on the day of her own funeral. Mitch tries to reassure his ex that no matter what happens he will always be there to support her. But Karen can't take it anymore, after she almost kissed Mitch she's been feeling worse. As soon as Mitch tries to comfort her, she snaps! She tells him that even though they both love Chantelle, that's as far as things will go between them. She informs him that she is with Billy now and she loves him and the only way she'll be able to move forward is if he moves out. Mitch is clearly saddened by this as it's clear he was wanting things to be move forward with Karen, he was hoping of possibly rekindling their relationship?
At the Slaters, Kat and Jean are literally scrounging their house to find some money to pay Suki. Stacey says she'll be able to flog all her designer gear online and pay the rent that way, but Jean informs her that she's given the majority of it back to Ruby, seeing as it was bought with her money. Stacey is furious with her Mother for going behind her back, just as voices are about to be raised, Kush walks in. Jean informs him that if they don't come up with rent soon, they will all be living on the streets, Kush reassures her and tells her not to worry. It's then he pulls out from behind his back a massive wad of cash. Kat and Stacey are visibly happy to see him with the amount of money he's holding, but Jean looks just a little suspicious. Where did he get that amount of money from?! Is Kush hiding something?
Back at court, Whitney is finally having her say! The judge asks the question whether her relationship with Leo was a serious one, he also states the fact that she has had many men in her life. Whitney does as Sonia says and stands up for herself ... Can I just say how brilliant she was at this part?! I love how cocky she was saying that the main reason she was there is because Leo pulled a knife out on her, but if they want to know about her past relationships she'll be happy to tell them. She goes on to inform them about both Lee and Callum and she confirms that she is still friends with them to this day, regardless of their relationships falling apart. She makes the perfect point that if she is guilty of anything is for her taste in men!
Meanwhile, Habiba is still eager to get Jags out of prison. She walks up to the station with a huge protest board, reading "Free The Jaguar". As she arrives, we can already see that Jags is sat in a police car, ready to be sent away after confessing to the crime. Habiba rushes to her boyfriends aid and pleads to him to tell the truth, she asks him to look her in the eyes if he did attack Martin, obviously he can't do that, he looks down towards his feet. She pleads to the police officer to let her have one last word with her boyfriend before he's taken away. She rushes back to the window and tells him that he has to tell the truth, otherwise, how are they going to be able to get married? Jags looks through the window in confusion, it's then she pulls out a ring and purposes to her boyfriend. But he knows he can't, he doesn't respond and Habiba is left heartbroken as the car drives away.
Finally, Mick has arrived in court is about to have his say to defend Whitney! It's clear that Mick is feeling very nervous already - realising that he's having to lie in court. This scene was also a brilliant one, I don't really know how to explain it but I think it was just so clever! As Mick is being asked very difficult questions about his relationship with Whitney and about what happened the night Leo died, Mick is quite clearly shaken, his breath his raspy. To me, it looks as if he's about to have another panic attack. Everything Mick is hearing goes all fuzzy, the room goes blurry and he can barely breathe. He tries to loosen his tie, suddenly he collapses to the floor and Whitney and Sonia are left in shock!
Iqra finally catches up with her sister, after her failed attempt to get Jags to admit the truth. Habiba is looking saddened as she asks her whether she knows anyone who would like an engagement ring, as Jags didn't appear to want it. Iqra is surprised to hear that her sister popped the question. Ash happens to overhear the conversation and she gives her apologies to Habiba. She then tells both the girls that she's convinced that the only reason Jags won't say he's innocent is because he's got himself involved with some really heavy serious criminals. But then, I think Ash slips up a little - she reassures her that that isn't the case, as she says this both Iqra and Habiba look at her, and it clicks to Habiba that Ash knows something! She demands Ash to tell them what she knows, but she's quick to defend her family. Habiba is angry as she leaves the room and Iqra explains to her girlfriend that her sister is just upset and that she believes her. Ash breathes a sigh of relief. I think the Panesar family are going to be really careful what they say around Habiba now ... or should Habiba be the one who needs to be careful? If Suki finds out that Habiba is trying to find the truth, she'll surely act to make sure she doesn't uncover it!
At the Vic, Whitney and Sonia are informing Sharon about what happened to Mick at Court. Suddenly, Linda enters asking Whitney where Mick has go to, she also asks her how he got on in Court. Whitney informs Linda that Mick didn't say anything - but as she's about to explain as to why - Linda interrupts her, saying how Mick had been stressed and worried about going to Court and everything. Suddenly, Sharon drops her foot in it and asks whether Mick is out of hospital, Linda looks confused and looks to both Whitney and Sonia. Sonia then informs her that he collapsed with a panic attack whilst on the stand, the fact that the judge gave him a tough time and questioned him about his previous fling with Whitney. Linda dashes off to find her husband. Whitney then pulls out her phone to make a phone, whoever it is she's speaking to, she informs them it's urgent. As she leaves the Vic, Suki and Vinny can be seen sat having a drink together, Suki watches in disgust as Whitney leaves the pub and makes the nasty comment that she should be the one in prison. Suddenly, Kush makes himself known, he throws the rent money on the table in front of them saying he'll give the rest to them later, as he turns away we can see him playing poker on his phone. Is this going to be a new storyline for Kush now? In recent episodes we've heard the odd mention of him and Martin playing online poker and honestly - I didn't think much of it at first, but now it seems to be becoming a big part of Kush's life. Is that how he managed to get the rent money for Suki? Is Kush going to become a gambling addict? If so, I think it would be a very interesting story, plus to someone who's so level-headed. Kush is a character who cares about his family very much, I don't think he's ever put a foot wrong - other than perhaps sleeping with his best friend's wife - but I don't think we've seen a gambling addiction for a very long time. I think it would be a brilliant storyline, however a very distressing one - what do you guys think?
Back at home, Linda is on the phone to the hospital, frantic to find out information about her husband. But then Mick finally makes himself home, Linda is clearly relieved to see him. This conversation is another interesting one, he looks like he's in a world of his own as he speaks to his wife. He informs her that he was going to tell them truth before he had his panic attack. Linda informs him that she's been told about what happened in Court, what they questioned him about. It's then Mick starts to say that it was all his fault, it shouldn't have happened, he should've stopped it! Part of me is thinking that he's talking about Frankie. Is Frankie what's on his mind right now? Linda obviously seems to think that he's talking about Whitney, she assures him that he's been forgiven and everything in the past doesn't matter to them now. But is that really the case? It's still going to be a huge shock when Linda finds out about Frankie! I don't know about you guys, but I'm really looking forward to that secret coming out!
The final scene of the episode, Whitney and Sonia have met up with her solicitor? I'm guessing it's her solicitor anyway? Whitney has called them together wanting to know what her chances are, but it looks as if her mind has already been made up. She knows that she's not going to get away with it, even by the look of the jury, she knows she's going to be sent to prison. Sonia tells her to stay strong, stay positive and fight, but has Whitney had enough? Does she know it'll be pointless as she believes she'll be going to prison anyway? She takes a deep breath and reveals to Sonia that she's going to plead guilty to the murder of Leo!
There are so many things happening in the soap right now, and there so many twists and turns coming. I believe there are many ways in which all the story-lines could go. I'm sorry if this blog is a little boring, I'm trying to make sure I mention/highlight I feel which are the important parts of the episode. I hope you'll all enjoy reading, if you have any ideas on how I can make this blog a little better, please don't hesitate to throw me some ideas. I'd love to hear what you guys think! Anyway, thank you all for reading. I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I'll be back on Monday evening with the start of a whole new week! Have a brilliant weekend everyone and I'll be back very soon xXx

"Ian, Dinner's Nearly Ready!"
Thursday 21st January 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you've all had a good week, not long now till the weekend! I'm quite looking forward to writing about this episode, as from the previous episode, there's loads of possible outcomes that could happen with each storyline and honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing them all unravel.
So let's jump straight into it, the first thing I want to talk about is Mick, Linda and Frankie. After stopping his daughter from boarding a flight and leaving for Australia, Mick finally reached out to Frankie, informing her that he wants her to be a part of his life. During this episode, Mick is going out of his way to make a lovely family meal for Frankie. I have to say, all the scenes with Mick and Frankie have been so beautiful, so lovely to watch. It's been so long since we've seen Mick smile, I mean like a genuine smile, and since accepting Frankie into his life, it looks as if he's comes to terms with what happened to him in the past. I also want to mention how wonderful it was for Linda to accept and welcome Frankie into the family, even making the effort to learn sign language to communicate with her! It made me so happy to finally see them come together as a family. Even having Father and Daughter have the same habits of having both red sauce and brown sauce on their dinner - brilliant script writing! I loved it! As the day goes on, Frankie is enjoying herself getting to know her Dad and her new Step-Mum, but during her enjoyment, she gets a message from her own Mother, Katy, asking her to get in touch for when she's landed in Australia, after ignoring the message, later on she gets in touch with her Mum, informing her that she never left for Australia and that she no longer wants to see her. Something is telling me that Frankie is wanting to be there for Mick and is wanting to be with him and his family, to be fair though, why the hell not? Mick and Linda could give her a better life than what Katy could, I'm sure. Plus Frankie needs to be given the chance to see all her other brothers and sister. One random thought has entered my brain though, if Frankie isn't living with her Mum, then who is she living with? Where is she staying? At the Carter's now? Or is she still in the Mitchell household? Anyway, what does this mean now for Frankie? I have a feeling that Katy is going to be returning to the Square to confront both her daughter and Mick, however I don't think Linda and/or Shirley will be happy to see her face show up again! What do you guys think? Personally, I think Mick and Frankie's story is far from over!!
The second thing I want to talk about is Jay and Honey, now it's been a few weeks since Honey and Jay shared a kiss, if I'm thinking correctly it happened before Christmas, or around Christmas when Honey was holding her Community Christmas Dinner event. But since that moment, it's been clearly obvious that they have been struggling to keep their feelings secret, as not to hurt Billy. But over the past few weeks, it's getting more and more difficult for them to ignore the obvious connection between them. Jay opens up to Honey in this episode, informing her that he hates having to ignore his feelings for Billy's sake, even though Honey agrees that she hates it too, it's the right thing for them to do. To even make it up to Billy, Jay offered him a job doing house clearances for the funeral directors, which Billy reluctantly agreed to. During the day, everything seems to get a bit too much for Jay, as he heads home he finds Honey tidying up the place. At this moment, he can't hide it anymore and informs her that he can't stop thinking about her and the kiss they shared. However, unbeknown to them, during this conversation, Lola makes her way into the property, overhearing everything they're saying to each other, confessing their feelings. As soon as Jay mentions that he wants to kiss Honey again, Lola makes herself be known and interrupts them. Completely shocked as to what she's heard and witnessed, she informs them that if Billy finds out, it's going to break his heart. Jay states to his ex-girlfriend that the feelings that he and Honey both have for each other are real and that he believes they could have something special, he warns her also that if she cares so much about Billy, she wouldn't say anything to him first before they get a chance to explain themselves. These words seem to hit some truth for Lola and she agrees not to say anything to her "Pops", just as long as they stick to their word and tell Billy themselves. Does this mean that Jay and Honey are going give their relationship a go? Will Billy feel even more betrayed? Will he ever be able to get over it? What do you guys think of this story? Do you think Honey and Jay suit being a couple? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
The next thing I want to talk about is Iqra and Ash. After finally learning the truth about Jags being innocent for the attack on Martin after her girlfriend lied to her about it all, Iqra called her relationship off with Ash. Informing her that she's not only put an innocent man in prison, she's caused so much grief and hurt between herself and her own sister, Habiba. Especially now that Habiba is pregnant with Jags' child, it saddens Iqra that she believed her lying girlfriend over her own sister. But what shocks her even more is when she finds out that Ruby also knew the truth. Iqra ignores Ash's pleas, even though they are both in floods of tears, and tells her that she is just like her Mum! Ash tries to persuade her that she's nothing like Suki, but Iqra realises that Habiba was right after all and tells Ash to leave. Later on in the episode, Ash is sat with Kheerat in the Cafe, informing him that Iqra now knows everything and that she's been thrown out, Kheerat tries his best to console his sister, but of course - Peter just so happens to turn up and overhears their conversation. Ash reveals to him that she's now single - Can I also just mention how gross Peter was during that scene, what he said made me feel really uneasy, I don't know about you guys? Trying to cheer his friend up he suggests going out that evening after a work out and that she could hook up with a new lady and he would watch! (Sorry, but can I just ask why was that part of the script? Maybe I'm overreacting, but I personally think that that is an awful thing to say, even if he did mean it in a joking way! You just don't do things like that!) Am I wrong? Or am I being a little sensitive?! Anyway, later on in the evening, while Iqra is going about her business, she happens to see both Peter and Ash fooling around in the Square - my first thought would be, she clearly got over their break-up pretty quickly! Feeling completely devastated, Iqra goes inside and calls her sister, apologising for not believing her in the first place and admitting that she was right and Ash had been lying to her for months. What does this mean now for both Ash and Iqra? Will Peter try and seduce Ash? Will Ash learn about him and her Mother?! Also, with Iqra also now being single, will she find a new love interest? Possibly that new character, Mila? What do you guys think?!
The final thing I want to talk about, obviously has to be Sharon and Ian! After begin given a stronger powder to poison Ian, Sharon is still determined in going through with her plan to kill Ian. Looking at pictures of her son on the walls, it makes her realise that she needs to do this for her son. As much as it's probably making her skin crawl, she's having to act nice and kindly towards him, even saying the words "I love you". But in this episode, she took a step further, suggesting that they have a nice relaxing meal together following a night of passion. This thought seems to really excite Ian, even though at this moment in time, he has no idea that his new wife is trying to kill him by poisoning him, he seems to continually fight her corner, informing both Kathy and Max that they are wrong about Sharon. Max seems to have sussed out Sharon's plan but Ian refuses to believe a word he says, whereas Kathy is convinced that her new Daughter-In-Law isn't looking after her son properly. Ian once again rubs off his Mother's concern and tries his best to inform her that Sharon does all she can for him. However, the next scene between Sharon and Ian, I felt was absolutely brilliant - I was completely on edge as you could sense the anger bubbling inside Sharon. Ian returns to the pub to find his new wife going through her deceased son's belongings, however in her hand he happens to notice that she's holding Dennis's phone. You can see his eyes look in a bit of fear/panic when he questions her about it, she explains that going through his things makes her feel close to him, also explaining how she longs to her hear his voice again, after revealing that Dennis always used to leave voice notes on his phone, but she's devastated that she can't hear them because the phone is broken. Ian tries to sympathise with his wife, explaining that he did exactly the same thing when Lucy passed away. However, when he next mentions Dennis, explaining that he misses him also and how much he regrets not being able to save him during the boat crash, Sharon's eyes look at Ian with absolute daggers, her grip tightens around the phone and it looks as if her nails are digging into her own skin. You can see the anger boiling and bubbling inside of her, it looks as if it's taking everything out of her not to explode there and then. Her eyes are wide and her look is pure stern, anger, disgust, pure hatred - I have say this is fantastic acting from Letitia Dean! I think this is the best we've seen her since her breakdown over Dennis's death. Later on in the episode, Ben and Jay are sat at the bar discussing a possible proposal between Ben and Callum? However, as much as Ben is happy to talk about his love life, he questions Jay about his. Jay informs him that there is someone he's interested in but the situation is very complicated and a mess. He informs him to "un-mess" it, but then as they decide to leave the pub, Ben informs Jay about Phil and Sharon talking in a dark corner, even though he found it suspicious, he voices his opinion that Sharon is devious and that only a fool would trust her, hoping that his Dad will stay well clear of her. Interestingly, Ian overhears this conversation and it looks as if his words play on his mind. If you think about it, that's three people who now don't trust Sharon - Max, Kathy and Ben! Should Ian start listening to what people are saying? Later on, Sharon is preparing her lovely meal for them both, however I did notice that she's using two separate pans, making sure she doesn't put the powder into her own food, she pours in the power into the separate pan and you can see it quickly dissolve into the onions, being the doting wife she calls her husband to inform him their dinner is ready. But behind her back, Ian takes it upon himself to quickly look through Dennis's belongings, he rummages through all the clothes and draws by the bed, eventually finding the phone Sharon was holding onto before. He presses a button to check whether it is actually working or not, suddenly the phone lightens up. The realisation overcomes Ian as he's suddenly aware that his wife lied to him about the phone being broken - does this mean that she could've potentially heard the voice message Dennis left, the night of the boat crash? Surely he must be thinking now that if she's lied about the phone, what else has she lied about?!
Ooooo could Sharon's plan about to be sussed?! Will Ian click on to Sharon’s plan? I have heard rumours that Ian will switch the plates of the dinner which would mean Sharon will eat the poison! Now THAT would be an interesting twist! What do you guys think?! There are so many things I'm looking forward to seeing! I'm really intrigued as to what's going to happen next!  Are you looking forward to seeing it all unfold?! Please feel free to leave me any comments or messages about the current storylines, what do you want to happen? Do you have any theories? I'd love to hear your thoughts! I'll always respond to your messages! Thank you again for all your support, it really does mean the world! Thank you again folks, I'll be back very soon! Love you all xXx

"You Alright?!"
Tuesday 19th January 2021
Hello again folks! Hope you're all keeping well! I'm sure some of you may have heard the recent rumours floating around social media recently, to my knowledge there has been no confirmation or truth in any of the rumours as of yet, but the rumours circulating happen to mention that Maisie Smith has quit her role as Tiffany Butcher after 13 years of playing the character to peruse a career in Hollywood, following the paths of her co-stars Ben Hardy and Himesh Patel! (Peter Beale and Tamwar Masood). In regards to these rumours, I personally won't be saying anything about it until something official has been announced, whether it's from EastEnders or Maisie Smith herself. What do you guys make of the rumour?
Focusing on today's episode, there's quite a bit for us to cover, so I'll start first with Ash and Iqra. Out of the blue Iqra gets a phone call from her sister, at first we're unsure what could be happening. It's only late when she rushes home that she reveals that Habiba is pregnant with Jag's child! This news seems to leave Ash feeling even more guilty than ever, even though that over time the guilt has seemed to be eating away inside of her, it seems like this is thing that would tip it over the edge. She decides to take a visit to her Mum, informing her of the news that she's just heard herself. However, after Ash informs Suki that she's going to be a Grandma, Suki drops the bombshell that she's known for a while, informing her daughter that Habiba sent her a letter the other week. Ash is completely stunned that her Mother has no remorse for what she's done, considering the fact that Jags perhaps doesn't know he's going to be a Dad, and that with him being in prison, he's not going to have the opportunity to see his child grow up. Ash can't stand it anymore and she begins to stand up to her Mother, it looks as if this has also been eating away at her also. She voices how much she was dreading her Mum turning up to the Square, and how much she actually has hated her being there since she arrived. Calling her a "Bitch" and more names under the sun, Suki strikes and slaps her daughter across the face. I guess it's fair to say that Suki really is a nasty, evil piece of work. Ash informs her Mother that she's going to do everything she can to keep Habiba and Jags' baby away from her. But horrifically, Suki mentions that she doesn't even care about her unborn Grandchild and the only children she'll make sure she has contact with is Ash's, and not for being the doting Grandmother, but for feeding her children awful stories about their Mum! - Personally, I thought that was just awful, how horrid can one woman be?! Even though we can all agree that we absolutely hate Suki, I have to say that Balvinder Sopal plays the role so fantastically! After learning about Habiba's pregnancy, her confrontation with her Mother, and the guilt building inside of her, Ash takes it upon herself to approach Iqra and finally reveal the truth. After so long, she finally reveals to her girlfriend that she's been lying to her and that Jags was never the one who hurt Martin, but in fact Vinny was the culprit. What does this mean for Iqra and Ash now? How is Iqra ever going to trust her girlfriend again?! What do you guys think? Could this be the end of Iqra and Ash?!
The next thing we have to focus on has to be Mick and Frankie! It has to be doesn't it?! The day appears to be Mick's birthday and it also just happens to be the day were Frankie is supposed to be leaving for Australia. Through-out the day, Mick can't seem to enjoy the celebrations, his mind seems to be completely on Frankie, especially after the way he spoke to her the previous day. However, Frankie seems to be getting her things together. Even though she seems to have consoled herself after yesterday, Ben still seems worried for his friend, informing her that he wants to make sure she's alright before she leaves for Australia. After being able to get a hands on a birthday card for Mick, she contemplates dropping it off to his house, but Shirley confronts her - am I still right in thinking that Shirley doesn't know who she is?! I'm sure she just knows that she's Katy's daughter? But not that she's Mick? Am I right? Please someone enlighten me if I'm right or wrong! Anyway, after being confronted by Shirley, Frankie flees, crumpling up the birthday card in her hands. Later, Mick is alone in the gardens as he sits on Arthur's bench, Frankie still playing on his mind. As he's alone with his thoughts, he appears to overhear a conversation between Phil and Denise. Phil pleads to her to let him see Raymond more often, he has a right to see his son as he's his Dad, all he really wants to get to know his son and spend time with him. After some contemplating, Denise agrees and informs him to collect Raymond later in the day, but before she leaves to head inside the house, Phil whole-heartedly thanks her, and you can see how genuine his thanks towards her is. This moment also seems to play on Mick's mind as he later confronts Denise and informs her how good it was of her for letting Phil see Raymond, it's then Denise makes a very valid point - every child needs their Dad. Later on in the episode, Linda takes Mick to the Prince Albert, but once again, he can't seem to focus on his birthday celebrations. He informs Linda that no matter what Katy has done, Frankie is a part of him and she is also a victim as well as he is. It seems that Mick has finally come to his senses and realises he needs to see/speak to his daughter. He approaches Ben and asks where she might be, it's then he learns that she's due to leave for Australia at any minute. Desperate to find her before she leaves, Mick hurries out the bar in search for her. Fortunately he manages to find her at the tube, now I have to say that this scene was absolutely beautiful, so touching it almost made me cry!! After so long, Frankie gets to hear the words she's been longing to hear. Mick opens up and acknowledges that he's her Dad, and no matter what kind of life they've both had, they have a special connection being Father and Daughter. He makes the very important statement that he genuinely wants her to be a part of his life, she's his daughter and the one thing he notifies that he's good at, is being a Dad! The look on Frankie's face is overwhelm and pure happiness, through happy tears she reaches into her pocket and pulls out the birthday card she crumpled up earlier and passes it to her Dad - "Happy Birthday, Dad!" - Mick opens the card in front of her and is completely touched, teary he pulls her in for a hug and they hold each other, with happy teary eyes. I found this scene so emotional, I was so happy for them I want to cry and yet cheer at the screen! Beautiful acting from both Danny Dyer and Rose Ayling-Ellis. Does this mean that Frankie will now be staying on the Square? Will the rest of the Carter family be able to accept her? I'm sure Linda will, but how will Shirley react when she learns the truth about Frankie's identity?!
The final thing I want to talk about of course is Sharon and Ian! During the last episode, Sharon left Phil a voicemail, claiming that she's come to the decision to call the plan of killing Ian off! At the beginning of this episode, Phil is the first one to make it through the Queen Vic doors to confront Sharon about her change of mind, she claims that the reason behind her decision is that she can't put Kathy through what she has been through, for some reason, it just doesn't seem fair. But her decision doesn't seem to sit right with Phil. Later, as Ian leaves the pub in an attempt to get some fresh Ian, Max approaches him from behind and happens to ask two - has heard about his test results? and whether he's confronted Sharon about their suspicion? However, Ian once again seems to brush off the idea that Sharon could be behind him feeling unwell. But interestingly, Max makes a very valid point - if there was one person who would want him actually dead, the realistic culprit would be him! However, he also seems to mention to Ian that he overheard Kathy having an altercation with Sharon. Returning to the Vic, Sharon is upstairsgetting rid of some pills as she washes them away down the sink, as she's doing so, Ian approaches her from behind - asking her what she's doing. She turns around in a shock and uses the excuse that she's getting rid of some old medication as she doesn't want Albie getting hold of them. It's then he takes his opportunity to question whether she has something she wants to tell him. However when she denies wanting to talk about anything, he questions her about the confrontation she had with his Mum, it's then that she explains that people care in different ways and his Mother was just simply asking her to look after him. Later on in the episode, Sharon bumps into Phil at the park as he kicks a ball around with little Raymond. It's then they begin to discuss their plan with no lurking ears around them. Phil can't seem to understand why Sharon has changed her mind, he devastatingly recalls the evening that Dennis died, that he was actually on the boat at the time! This seems to really affect both of them and as Phil begins to carry on describing how poor Dennis must've felt being locked in the room by Ian, Sharon stops him as she can't bare to hear another word. Phil insists that Ian has to pay for what he's done to their boy and he promises her that he'll get something stronger, something that will work much quicker! It look as if their plan to get rid of Ian is back on, as during the final scene of the episode, as Sharon is working away behind the bar, Ian is sat on the opposite side of the bar, beside her. Phil makes his way inside and Sharon begins to poor him a glass of orange juice, only the one thing I noticed is that as soon as they step to one side, Ian watches them, looking incredibly suspicious. Could he maybe jump to conclusions and think that Phil is behind him being ill? Or will he put two and two together and maybe come up with the possibility that Sharon and Phil are working together?! But, the one thing he doesn't tend to see, is Phil passing Sharon a little pouch of powder as well as money to pay for his drink. Very discreetly, she pops the powder inside her jeans pocket as Phil takes a sit in the pub. It looks as if the plan to finish off Ian is still all systems go! Will Ian click on to their plan?!
At the end of every episode I feel like I have so many questions to ask, and honestly, I can't wait to see how each and every storyline continues/ends. Is there a current storyline that you're enjoying at the moment? Is there a certain outcome that you want to see? Please feel free to leave me a comment or a message, I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! "Hello Phil - What Can I Get You?"
Tuesday 16th June 2020
Good evening everyone! Well, this is it, we've come to the last episode that is going to be aired before the soap leaves our screens temporarily. I have mixed emotions, a sense of sadness as it's going to be a while until we get to see our favourite story-lines comes to an end, but also i'm kinda looking forward to the new documentaries that are going to be shown. I'm also looking forward to seeing classic EastEnders episodes, I'm looking forward to reliving such iconic moments. How are you guys feeling? I'd love to hear your thoughts and feelings about the soap leaving our screens temporarily.
And Wow! What a final episode that was! What a cliffhanger to end on!! I really enjoyed tonight's episode, let talk about Ian and Dotty first shall we? So Ian has also managed to get Dotty suspended from her university. I feel like things aren't going well for Dotty at the moment, Ian seems to be taking everything away from her due to her blackmailing him. He first managed to persuade Peter to leave her on account of Bobby, and now he's managed to get her suspended from uni because of her dealing drugs and assaulting an officer. I'm not too sure what Dotty is going to do next. Ian really put her in her place during that conversation in the restaurant, she has no evidence to prove that he locked Dennis on the boat, and also he's right that no one would believe her over him, after what trouble she's been in recently and Ian acting the doting citizen, no one would believe a word against him. So, really ... Ian can act all smug as he likes! But I do feel that as this is EastEnders and secrets never stay hidden for long, it will only be a matter of time before Sharon finds out the truth, whether she finds out from Dotty or from other source remains a mystery. But I sure am looking forward to finding out what happens next when it comes to Dotty and Ian with their constant battle with each other.
I felt it was nice to see Tina and Iqra in tonight's episode, however something Iqra said has really got me questioning something. Is Tina really sleeping at her gay bar? Since Mick and Linda announced that they were selling the pub, Tina has been the main one who has been worrying about finding a place to live. Shirley has said many times that she has a place sorted, but what about Tina? Is she actually hiding the fact that she could potentially be homeless and is sleeping rough? Is she trying not to be burden for her family? I'm intrigued to see what happens, but something is giving me a feeling that all will be revealed about Tina and her living arrangements when the soap comes back on air. It looks as if there could be a really close friendship that could build between Tina and Iqra? Could their possibly be a romance on the cards? I know it's a big suspicion but I'm convinced something might happen between them in the future. What this space - that's all I'm going to say on the matter! Anyway, it also looks as if maybe Iqra and Keegan could start working for Tina and perhaps be her supplier? However, as much as Iqra was keen on the idea, Keegan not quite so much - or not even seeming interested at all! I really don't understand why Keegan is STILL looking so miserable! He should be focusing on moving forward with his life, he needs to get things back on track with Tiffany and starting again with his sandwich business, moping and moaning is just not doing him any favours. All his friends and family are without a doubt supporting him through his recent ordeal with the police, but everything has been turned in his favour and all charges have been dropped and yet he still can't move on with his life. I'm sure we've all been aware about what's happened in America in recent weeks and with the #BlackLivesMatter movement, something is telling me that when the soap comes back onto our screens, somehow #BLM will be mentioned in Keegan's story. I mean, it would make sense, right?
Can I also just mention that scene between Gray and Suki! I feel like they were both playing each other with their own games. Gray was making digs about their business being above board, also basically saying (in his own words) that he doesn't want Chantelle working there anymore. Of course he lied by saying he had had a raise, it was only to keep Chantelle away from Kheerat. Suki surely rubbed Gray up the wrong way I feel, saying that Kheerat will do anything to keep her at the business. But then when Suki left the room and Gray started taking pictures of some documents, were they like some kind of invoice? Or perhaps some kind of information about the business? I'm interested to see what happens when Chantelle finds out that Gray went behind her back and basically lost her her job.
Awwww, can I just say how much I love the relationship between Ben and Jay! They really are brothers, they've been brought up together and they'll always have each other's back! I absolutely love it! It was only a matter of time really before either Callum or Jay found out first about Ben's hearing. It just so happened that Ben collapsed when Jay came to see him. What could have caused that? Was it due to his flu or a headache or just everything as a whole - including his hearing? However, even though Jay was concerned it was only when Ben shouted at him to look at him while he was speaking that Jay eventually clicked. Ben shouted in such a way that it was a desperate cry for help. Jay knew then, he just knew that his condition has worsened. I feel a sense of relief that Ben finally said something to someone instead of suffering in silence (No pun intended). So the damage that Danny caused to Ben's hearing due to the gunshot was a burst eardrum, luckily that will heal, and hopefully Ben can still have his operation to help regain his hearing, to some degree. It's sad though that Ben wants to hide it from Callum, he is going to find out sooner or later, whether it be from Jay or Ben himself. He will click that something isn't 100% right with his boyfriend. Will he try and get the new character, Frankie on board to try and help his boyfriend communicate better with him? Will she also convince Ben to experience life with the deaf community to see how they carry on with life? I know we have to wait a while to see what will happen next, and I know I've said it a lot in recent posts, but I genuinely am so excited to see where all these story-lines will go.
Oh poor Billy! He had been taking so much stick from Mitch that he was just about to snap ... and he eventually did! After dig, after dig and after a losing match of air hockey, he was ready to stand up to Mitch once and for all. He would be willing to do anything to fight for his woman, even ending being hit in the nose. Once Karen had been made aware of what was happening between the men in her life, Billy gave her an ultimatum, if she really wants to be with Billy, she's going to have to get Mitch to leave their flat. Which to be fair, I full support! Why should Mitch still be living with Karen when they have no romantic feeling towards each other right now? Of course they have children together, but surely Mitch could get his own place with Bailey? And Billy could potentially move in with Karen, they'd still have a family unit but then everything and everyone would be happy, right? I mean, it might be hard on the kids but they'd adjust! The Taylor household is quite big at the moment anyway, how are they all managing to fit in that tiny flat? Karen, Bernie, Chatham, Riley, Mitch, Bailey, and Keegan - even though Keegan should be living with his wife right now, but whatever - and Billy has slowly starting moving his stuff in! I do hope that Karen will stand by Billy and agree that he's right and that Mitch should move out. What do you guys think? Is Billy being a bit harsh? I don't know, I think I support Billy on this one!
Mick had quite a lot of pressure on him during this episode didn't he? He was struggling whether to give the pub to Phil or try and keep his wife happy but not selling to Phil. Either way, he was kinda in the middle of it all, which ever way he chose - one person would end up disappointed. Of course Linda would be sticking by her best friend after the way Phil treated Sharon, kicking her out after she chose her son over him - I, personally, don't back anyone over this - I can understand Phil's point of view and I can understand Sharon's point of view, it's just a shame that a little child has come between them. Phil wanted to buy The Vic in the first place for Sharon, but after her changing her mind about wanting to bring up her son permanently with Phil, Phil couldn't bring himself to look at the child, let alone love him. He couldn't bring himself to love another man's baby, especially when he first believed the child was originally his. Linda did not want to sell the Vic to the man who basically chucked his wife out just because she chose her own baby over him. Mick seemed like he was being pulled from pillar to post, being demanded by Phil to sign the papers by the end of the day to then being demanded by Linda not to sell it to him. The only person he could turn to was Sharon, he needed help, he needed advice. But Sharon could only agree that Linda needed to leave the Vic and fast - otherwise there would always be a fear of her reaching for the bottle again.
I do want mention one thing though, when Phil reminisced about the time he burnt the Vic down, it brought a smile to my face, only because I remember what an epic episode that was! For those of you who don't remember, Phil was high on drugs and he was complaining to his mother, Peggy (God rest her soul!) that she loved the pub more than him, and the only way he would take it from her would be to burn it to the ground - and so he did, with him, his Mum and everyone else inside. It was such an epic moment in EastEnders, again once of the most fascinating and phenomenal moments from Steve McFadden.
Anyway back on the subject - what an incredible ending that was! Phil turned up expecting Mick to sign the papers over to him for the Vic, only Linda was pleading for him not to. Mick then revealed that he had had a new offer from someone else, Phil literally thought he was joking as no one could've given him an offer that quick. Linda too was also confused and was eager to know who Mick had sold the pub to. Mick led them out the front and there standing behind the bar in all her glory, with Ian by her side looking as smug as ever, was Sharon! And she once again said those iconic words "Hello Phil! - What can I get you?!" Fans will remember that years earlier she said exactly the same words to Peggy when it was revealed that Sharon had taken the pub right from under Peggy's nose. She has played Phil at his own game! I do feel for Phil - that now he's lost his wife and the pub he so really wanted. I'm assuming that will mean that the game is up. Sharon has the Vic and Kayden and Phil ends up living at his home alone? I feel sorry for Phil, I did kinda want things to go his way, but in all honesty, who else truly belongs behind that bar? Who has had the longest history with the place? It would only seem right for Sharon to have it back, it was where she grew up and where she has had many many iconic Sharon moments. (Sharongate and the death of her father Dirty Den). I think it was a perfect ending for the soap to finish on.
I do feel a sense of sadness but did anyone else watch until the very end when the credits ended. The words that appeared on screen were "To Be Continued ..." That did make me feel a bit emotional but I'm looking forward to what juicy story-lines and revelations they'll be coming up with for us in the future. While the soap is off screen, I sure will be watching these upcoming documentaries and classic episodes of EastEnders. As for this blog, who knows what i'll post - I might write about the classic episodes they show or I might do my own throwbacks and perhaps write up about my favourite characters. We shall see. But it's goodbye for now and see you very soon! Thank you all! Look after yourselves and hopefully it wont be too long before our beloved soap returns! xXx
