Term recoining: Itherinity
This one is a self recoining. Some years ago after a discusion on a discord server that doesn't exist anymore I came up with four qualities:
Virinity - The quality people on the gendervir/miagender spectrum. Could be considered a subtype of masculinity.
Erainity/lierinity - The quality specific to people on the genderera/genderlier/fiagender spectrum. Could be considered a subtype of femininity.
Neutrinity - Comgender neutrality. The quality of non-agender gender-neutral/neutrois people. The quality of being niaspec, but not agiaspec.
Itherinity - The quality of genders described as an "other" or "Something else"
All these were coined before the viagender spectra and were coined to differentiate masc from male, fem from female, etc. With the coining of fia/mia/nia/ouia vs fin/min/nin/ouin having different sets of qualities doesn't make much sense, at least to me.
Neutrinity is still useful because it referse to a specific type of gender neutrality, one that's strictly and specifically comgender/allogender.
So I wanted to recoin itherinity, not as a counterpart of outherinity, but as a more specific form of outherinity.
The other day I coined "Anderinity" to refer to the quality of genders like peraverique or mavilya that are born from the combination of two distinct outherine genders/gender qualities.
Itherinity is the subtype of outherinity that describes those genders and qualities that are entirely new with no connection to previous existing qualities, yet not exactly xenine or anything on the like. It's basically a terms for the outherine qualities that are defined by:
Otherness
Gender autonomy
Authenticity
Individuality (as in being exclusive on an individual)
Examples of itherine qualities are perine, ilyagine, maverine (also known as maveriquine), etc.
It does not include outherine qualities born of uncommon combinations of the main four or five qualities. Troininity and droxininity are outherine, but not itherine. See dipherine for those.
Originally it did include brand new qualities that could be compared/shared characteristics with previously existing non-outherine qualities, but I've coined umbine and preterine for that now
Itherine qualities are non-combinatory/unambiguous.

I know a lot of people have question about the different between the different outherine genders/qualities, so I'm making this post to explain them as much as I can:
Aporinity
[PT: Aporinity]
A quality for genders defined as being separate from male, female, and anything in between, while still being a strong and specific gendered feeling.
It can be both a specific quality or an umbrella term for qualities that are comgender and abinary.
It is not:
Feminine, masculine, epicene, femmuline or androgynous
A lack of gender
Beyond the concept of gender
Aporagender can be:
Comgender neutral (and when it's purely neutral is not outherine)
Relative to neutrality and other non-outherine abinary qualities
relative or comparable to femininity, masculinity, etc
Born of the combination of a brand new quality and a neutrality or of one of those with one of the main qualities.
Some specifically aporine genders are:
aporagender
Aporaique
Aproxora
Maverinity
[PT: Maverinity]
A quality for genders, like maverique (from which is derived) characterised by:
Gender autonomy
A strong sense of gender
The lack of any kind of connection to pre-existent qualities
It's not:
Xenine
Beyond the concept of gender
The lack of gender
A combination of genders
Derived from pre-existent midbinary or abinary concepts
Some maverine genders are:
Maverique
Gendermaverick
Maveresque
Mavraen
Proxveri
Autonominity or gender autonomy
[PT: Autonominity or gender autonomy]
This quality refers to genders characterised by:
Independent.
Self-determination.
Being defined by oneself, without the imposition of outside structures and authorities.
The re-definition of pre-existent qualities, gender and roles through a personal, individual lens.
In this last point lies the difference between this quality and maverinity; while maverinity is only itherine, autonominity/gender autonomy can be umbine or preterine too.
This can also be used as an umbrella term for all the qualities charaterised by autonomy, including maverine genders.
Some autonomine genders are:
Autonomique
Egogenders (autonine)
Maverine genders
Alithix (As it's defined by personal authenticity)
Ilyaginity
[PT: ilyaginity]
It refers to genders, like ilyagender (from which is based) with:
A tangible presence of gender
Fully disconnected from pre-existent qualities/concepts
Some ilyagine genders are:
Ilyagender
Proxilya
Ilyaen
Autoninity
[PT: Autoninity]
It referse to qualities an genders characterised by being exclusive of an individual person (or system)-
These genders are collectively called egogenders and are characterised by:
Complete autonomy from pre-existent concepts
Individuality and personal autheticity
Relation to one's personhood or systemhood.
Self-determination
Perainity
[PT: perainity]
A quality for genders characterised by:
A complete disconnection to the fem/masc/neu trinary
The presence of gender
The lack of confusion or apathy regarding one's gender.
It's not:
Feminine, masculine, neutral or any combination between them.
Agender or quoigender.
Some peraine genders are:
Péra or Peragender
Peraique
Proxpera
Atraeninity
[Pt: Atraeninity]
This quality exist in relation to both masculinity and femininity, but rather than existing in between or as a combination of them, as it's the case of androgyny, epicenity, effemininity or femmulinity; it exists in opposition and confrontation to/with them, as if forming a triangle.
Here a quick graphic I made visually explaining the relation between femininity, masculinity, androgyny, epicenity and altraeninity:
Tumblr media
Altraeninity is characterised by:
Being midbinary.
Being described by a sense of "pure androgyny
A feeling that your gender "matches" femininity and masculinity or male and female, while not being derived in any way from them
A sense of gender
There are also qualities, like Ambiguity/ambiguinity, pandrogyny, ainulinity, aineminity, etc that can be considered ouherine or not. I'll put them in a different post.

I guess is time to present myself.
I'm Pallas and I'm a multioutherly person. I specifically use the labels transoutherine, clusterouther and anderflor.
My main is @significantouther and I'm also the owner of @outherworldlycoining, where I came up with names for each of the forms outherine genders can present:
"Brand new qualities, apart from the pre-existent four."
Itherine
"Brand new qualities but related to pre-existent ones."
Umbine
Preterine
"Qualities formed from uncommon combination of the pre-existent qualities"
Dipherine
I didn't invent these categories, they were defined in the coining post of outherine; I just gave them specific names.
I did invent od fourth category: "brand new qualities born of the combination of other brand new qualities"
(Itherine + itherine; itherine + umbine; umbine + umbine)
Anderine
I've been calling myself outherine since the term was coined and before that I called myself aporine (and before that and aliagender I simply would say my gender was "something else") and I'm kind of a hoarder of outherine genders and qualities because every time I see a coining post of one (except when they are exclusively for some community I don't belong too, of course), my reaction is "that's my gender"
The aim of this blog is to be a space where any outherine person, regardless the specific outherine quality can express their ideas and feelings regarding being outherine or about society's treatment of the different outherinities. And also, to be a space where people questioning can ask away and resolve their doubts.
So you're much welcome to send asks with your thoughts and questions...

MIDERIAN
[PT: miderian]
Definition
[PT: definition]
A monolexic term for midbinary, mainly, but not only, for those who do not like to describe their genders using a word that contains "binary" in it.
The counterpart of aphorian.
Flags
[PT: flags]
The diagonal flag.
Tumblr media
[ID: A flag with thirteen diagonal stripes. In total it has seven colours. From the outermost stripes to the innermost one, these are: light read (2 stripes, one on the upper left and another in the lower right), right next to each there are two (one on each side) dark pink/magenta stripes, followed by a pair of lavender stripes. Next to each, there are two dark blue-violet stripes; beside them, nearing the middle, a pair of light blue stripes can be found, followed by a pair of dark turquoise stripes. Finally, the last and innermost stripe is a pastel teal one./END ID]
2. The five horizontal stripes flag
Tumblr media
[ID: A flag with five horizontal stripes, each of a different colour. These, from top to bottom are: magenta, cyan, purple, blue, and pink /END ID]
How do I see and experience midbinary genders? A graph.
[PT: how do I see and experience midbinary genders? A graph]
Tumblr media
[ID: An image with a transparent background and a trapezoid in the middle. Inside the trapezoid there are five shades, from bottom to top they are: In the lower left there's another trapezoid inside it, pink in colour with the number one written in the middle. In the lower right a third trapezoid, this one blue with the number two in it, can be found. Between the pink and blue trapezoids, a purple figure occuping the void space between the two + some space in the middle appears, containing a number three inside. Above it, there's an irregular cyan rectangle with a four inside. Latly, in the uppermost part of the trapezoid there's another one. This one is a pastel magenta and has a five inside it. /END ID]
As it can be seeing in the graph above, I would divide miderian/midbinary qualities into five primary categories:
1- Feminine genders, regardless if they are related to fiaty/lierinity or not, and fiagenders/lierine genders, regardless if they are related to femininity or not.
(Fiaty and lierinity are both terms to describe genders that are female or related, proximal, similar, derived or somehow connected to femaleness. Including woman, qupha, caiene, mione, juxera, erasque, etheria, etc)
2- Masculine gender, regardless if they are related to miaty/virinity or not, and miagenders/virine genders, regardless if they are related to masculinity or not.
(Miaty and virinity as both terms to describe male genders and genders derived, similar, proximal, related or somehow connected to maleness. Including (wer)men, terine, valene, proxvir, viresque, etherio, etc.)
3- Genders that are in between (without being the combination of) feminine and masculine genders, or between (without being a combination of) fiaty/lierinity and miaty/virinity. Mainly othergender androgynous or ambiguine genders.
(Examples: some androgynes, some ambiguines, proxangi, ambesque, angiesque, ambix, angix, troigue, etc)
4- Genders relared to epicenity or midbinary neutrality. Genders that feel like they are in the middle of the midbinary spectrum. Being simultaneously all midbinary qualities and neither at the same time.
(Examples: epicene, midbinary ambigue, unigender, juxtene, troicene, pandrogyne (original definition), etc)
5- Brand new midbinary genders that are fully distinct from feminine and masculine and/or fia/lierine and mia/virine genders, and rather than existing in between those dichotomies, exist completely separared from them. Qualities that can be described as midbinary outherinities (itherinities), like for example altraeninity.
(Examples: daen, ambinique, proxaen, trinäq, etc)
This graph doesn't take into account combinatory qualities and genders like, femache, gynx, androx, etc. because it focuses only on primary, non-combined, qualities and genders.
As an amphinitique, I actually experience the combinatory qualities and genders rather than the non-combinatory ones expressed in the graph. The graph, thus, represents the qualities that form the gender qualities I experience, rather than the qualities I experience themselves.
I'm simultaneously both miderian and aphorian, and I see the qualities I experience and the qualities that form them to kinda exist in a mirrorred fashion. For every miderian gender I have, there's an aphorian counterpart, and vice versa.

Continue with the (last) of the outherine categories. This is the last one, at least of the categories.
Preterinity
From: "preter" meaning "past; beyond".
A category for brand new qualities and genders within them that, while distinct from neutrality, neutrinity, agenrinity, kenoinity, gender infinitinity, or any other pre-existent (not itherine/dipherine/anderine) non-midbinary extrine quality, still can be comparable to those concepts.
This does not include yonderinity, because due to the nature of it nothing can be combined or derived from it.
But, if you can describe the quality of your gender and your gender itself as "kinda (like) [insert abinary quality], but it's actually something else" then you can describe the quality of your gender and your gender as preterine.
The midbinary equivalent is umbinity

New quality: Dipherine
Here another quality coining in my "Let's put a name to each possible outherine experience" series.
I've already coined (or rather recoined) itherine as an umbrella term for those outherinities that are distinct to femininity, masculinity, epicenity, neutrality (both neutrinity and neuterinity), agenrinity, and androgyny, while not being xenine, kenoine, or anything of the sort, regardless of if they are completely separated or are related to the pre-existent qualities in some way.
And anderine for the combination and/or intersection between itherine qualities.
Now, I've come up with a name for all those outherine qualities that are born from uncommon combinations or intersections of the main qualities: Dipherine.
Dipherine comes from the combination of "diphy-" meaning "two" and the word "different".
Some example of dipherine qualities are:
Neutrality + femininity - troininity
Neutrality + masculinity - Droxininity
Femininity + epicenity
Masculinity + epicenity
Epicenity + neutrality
agenrinity + femininity
agenrinity + masculinity
agenrinity + neutrality
agenrinity + epicenity
The combination of any of the main non-androgynous qualities with androgyny
Dipherine flag
Tumblr media
[ID: A flag with seven stripes, all of different colours and the same size. The colours, from top to bottom are: dark rosé, pastel, orangy yellow, azure, teal, dark orange/orange-brown, pastel chartreuse, and indigo. /END ID]
The colours of the flag were chosen by choosing the colours in between a continuum of the different colours of the visible spectrum
Rose - Red and violet.
Orangy yellow/gold - Yellow and orange.
Azure/cerulean - Blue and cyan.
Teal - Cyan and green.
orange-brown - Orange and red.
Charteuse - Green and yellow
Indigo - Violet and blue.
