Pine Lake Farewell: Bratford
Monica and Kevin moved into the seniors home and lived out the rest of their lives in blissful freedom from responsibility, completely obsessed with one another. Never to be accused as doting parents, they usually only saw Jamal at family dinners, organized by Anya, who made sure to schedule a visit to her folks once a month.
Jamal moved into a studio apartment in the city to focus on his art and try to make it as a freelance painter. He had a long-term affair with a married woman who became his biggest patron. Though he never made it big, he was always able to pay the rent on time, and considered that success enough.
Anya, on the other hand, was driven to top everything she went into. Graduating university early with a double-major in economics and political science, she went straight into politics and became the youngest mayor in Pine Lake and surrounding area. Under her leadership, the town flourished, with a population boom and thriving economy. She married and had two children so her regular newsletters would always feature a picture of her perfect family. Rumours circulating about her dabbling in the dark arts are completely unfounded and will not be commented on.

Pine Lake Farewell: Moritz & Davenport
Frank had amazing success in his career, making it big in ballet almost immediately. Nosim who knew him was surprised: Frank’s unquenchable optimism plus ridiculous good luck always resulted in success. His dance club also became the hottest spot in Pine Lake, especially after the grand opening where Charlie Davenport made her big breakthrough.
Charlie moved to the city shortly after the club's opening to pursue full-time songwriting and performing, but visited often to check on her used record shop.
Frank finally persuaded her to go out with him, and they are now married, living in Pine Lake with their son. They both took a break to look after him, which gave Charlie the opportunity to write even more. She plans to get into the recording studio when he's a little older, and then go on tour with the new album. She and Frank talked about having another child, but they’re waiting until after the tour to decide for certain. Simoleons flow like water for the couple, so they donate regularly and generously to music and dance camps for youth.
Eowyn lived happily in the seniors home with her boyfriend, Joshua Ruben, until her relatively early death. She never retired, leaving big shoes to fill in the police department.
Allegra thrived more in her senior years than she ever had in her life. Focused on painting, she started teaching classes for fun, and was a major influence on Jamal Bratford. She and Martin Ruben put past hurts behind them and married, remaining happily so for the rest of their days. Her relationship with Charlie also improved, and though she wished Charlie would visit more, Allegra fully supported her daughter pursuing the career she loved.

At a family outing to the park, Forest decides to mark this food bowl as his territory (ugh), and all the background characters are apparently more interesting to record than the current household.
Cordelia said she needs space, yet somehow is always showing up on the same lots as Ferdy, hmm... At least here she has a chance to reconnect with her pup.
Jamal continues his quest to find a wealthy patron, because it's easier than trying to paint a masterpiece or five. Anysim who can afford expensive pink dresses is a good target!
And finally, Valentina is very handsy after at least two dates with William. Whether or not they're officially a thing is still unknown, but I'd wager William is looking to go slow after the Sophronia Incident.

I learned that Secret Society Sims can greet one another with the secret handshake! It seems so obvious, ha ha, yet I'd never seen this before.
Anyway, it's high time for the Greek house to start acting like one, so the boys throw a toga party. It devolves into chaos, of course.
Jamal has a shiny new diploma in his pocket, so immediately after the toga party, he throws a graduation party.
Some Sims get forced into formalwear for the event (nice tux, Joe), but Thor sticks with his comfy toga.
Monica and Kevin show up to support (and embarrass) their son, but I guess Kevin doesn't approve of Jamal's career ambitions or something, because he refuses to join in the toast to him. This family is so hilariously dysfunctional.

I know I said I'd just post highlights, but I took a lot of pictures of the frat, and actually had a lot of fun playing it, so they're all highlights to me. :)
Jamal sells his first masterpiece, which is important because he needs to sell 5 to get into the Artist career. Thor is slightly less productive by almost getting his sister killed through his influence. He tries to apologize by cleaning her up a bit though. :D
Two of the boys finally get inducted into the secret society (sure took them long enough: Charlie and Freyja were in before sophomore year), and Ivy gets a little makeover to better call back to her iconic blue outfit. Thor definitely approves of her music motif, as his one true hobby is music and dance, though his active points have led him to focus more on fitness.
And Joe finally gets a bit of the spotlight! I'm pretty sure he dated both Charlie and Freyja, but they've long since moved on, so it's nice that he's found somesim who is a) available, and b) able to handle his dearth of nice points.

I have no idea what is going on here, but I think Thor has the right idea to run away fast.
With the frat so short on funds, Thor does his part to help save money. Hiding from the host in the men's bathroom is a foolproof plan!
It may have made him some enemies, though...
Ivy: Score! That was well-played, my man. You really showed that old lady!
Thor suddenly remembers he has 10 nice points and is wracked with crippling guilt for such a crime.
Ivy manages to cheer him up by entangling her nose ring with his face. Gross.
Jamal: Let me get this straight: You skipped out on your bill and the restaurant retaliates by offering you a free meal? Some Sims have all the luck...

It's a new year of university, and Jamal is now a senior. I feel like I've very much underrepresented him, but he seems happy enough just to quietly work on his art and flirt with unapproved ladies.
Thor has quickly won my heart with his 10 nice points and also high outgoing points (I forget exactly how many, but it's enough to finger-gun everysim) and one-track mind toward marriage. It also helps that he finally has the chance to step out of his older siblings' shadow at last. And remember how I said the upstairs of the frat is bare? I wasn't joking, ha ha. At least Thor brought in a little decor.
Speaking of Thor's siblings, Jamal often rolls wants for his old school friends to visit, so Freyja often drops in. It's nice to see them getting along and both moved on from their high school romance.
And because outings are a fantastic way to spice up a humdrum life of studying, we never say no to them. I added in a bunch of Belladonna Cove Sims as downtownies, and Timothy Riley here picks an interesting assortment of friends. At least one of them is his wife, Olivia (given a second chance at life because I'd never gone that route before), but no sign of their daughter, Sally.
I think Thor is pretty playful as well, so he throws food a lot. Chander Platz is not playful, and so not impressed. He's also proven to be the school bully, so Thor better watch his back after this...

The second date is at the ever so romantic location of the hobby fitness lot, which I'm not sure I've ever visited before. It's actually not bad, compared to the other hobby lots, and I did wonder where they were, as the neighbourhood looks very lonely...
As I said before, Jamal and Brittany Upsnott are kind of dating, but not exclusive. What I never mentioned before is that Jamal seems to have a thing for older women. He's hearted over a lot of them in his teen years, which I ignored, but one time he actually hooked up with Marie Rauscher here...yes, while he was a teen. I thought I had disabled that ACR setting, but apparently not.
I happened on a community lot with another family and I was not impressed, but I just tried to forget it ever happened. Jamal, however, did not forget, and probably wishes this lot came stocked with a photobooth. The only reason I'm bringing this up is because it might be important later, and actually did shape my thinking of Jamal that he is interested in the older ladies. But to be honest, I'm so over ACR, and that event was yet another nail in its coffin. :/
