Meeting and Dating Jeff Spicoli

(Sorry if these suck, his face is pretty but the character isn’t really my cup of tea lol)

- You meet Jeff when you get a job at the gas station. He comes in like everyday; usually high, gets the same thing and dashes out with his friend.

- This routine probably would have carried on like normal except one day he actually pays attention to whose behind the counter and gets his first good look at you. From then on he keeps trying to flirt and score a date with you.

- You turn him down a bunch of times because of the obvious: he’s usually high when he asks you out and you don’t want to put up with a guy like that. Regardless, he never gives up and so every time he comes in you get some kind of goofy pick up line or compliment and an offer of a date.

- He starts to try and talk to you at school but you just blow him off. But you’re in his history class which means you can’t avoid him forever. It also means he can try to impress you with his efforts to annoy the teacher.

- And he sort of succeeds. You find his antics funny in a stupid kind of way. Even though you try to hold back your laughter he always manages to catch you smiling which only adds fuel to his fire.

- He becomes sort of charming to you…in a goofy, dumb sort of way. You’ve never had anyone try this hard to be with you before and its kind of endearing. Maybe giving him a chance wouldn’t be so bad?

- You’ve decided to give it a try just as he decides to finally ask you out in a proper and decent way. Much to his surprise you agree…on the condition that he can’t smoke for the whole day. Sure you like him but you don’t want to be stuck with a delirious stoner for the day.

- He takes you to the beach and tries to impress you with his surfing skills which does work a little bit, you’re not gonna lie. He’s really not that bad when you get to know him especially when he isn’t high out of his mind. Even though you seemed to be enjoying yourself he starts to think he blew it when you don’t call him back the next day so he’s genuinely shocked when you call him the day after that.

- You kiss on like your fifth date. It’s after he won a little surfing competition and he’s all smiles from then on.

- After you kiss you’re pretty much official.

- Your relationship is basically those compilations of Julien annoying Jenna marbles

- He has that stupid sense of humor that only someone who regularly gets high would have. Even so he always seems to make you laugh.

- Giggling at any joke you tell.

- Lazy nights and mornings.

- Watching cartoons together.

- He definitely tries to be a gentleman but he’s not exactly sure how to act like one. You still appreciate his attempts.

- Dragging him to class; it’s usually you walking him to his class and then walking to your own to make sure that he actually goes.

- Storming to the smoking van and opening up the doors in a disappointed huff. He always just gives you a dopey grin while you shake your head and drag him into school.

“No we will not stop at the vending machine.”

- Helping him actually pass highschool.

- Getting him to tone it down on the smoking.

- Watching bad comedies and horror movies.

- Making out to Van Halen.

- People don’t understand how you tolerate him and his antics.

- Your parents probably hate him and to be honest…fair. You can’t blame them.

- At least his parents like you.

- “Jeff put your damn shirt on!”

- Fast food dates.

- Lots of junk food.

- Late night trips around town.

- Beach dates.

- Watching him surf while you tan. He tries to teach you to surf whenever you’re willing to give it a try. He’s definitely persuaded you with puppy dog eyes a few times.

- Going to the mall.

- Handholding.

- Fixing his hair for him.

- Chances are you’re hanging out with not only him but his group of friends. You’re rarely just alone with him.

- Being with him is sort of like just hanging out with your friend but occasionally kissing them.

- Not a jealous guy, mostly because he can’t tell when a guys trying to put the moves on you. You’re on your own when someone’s flirting with you

- Picking out his outfits for him because he has no sense of style.

- Going to the arcade with him.

- Going to rock concerts.

- He doodles you in his notebooks. They’re usuallly just stick figures with boobs and your hair cut but it’s still kinda cute.

- Cheek kisses.

- Matching bracelets or something similar.

- Playing board games together.

- Sitting on a curb and drinking slurpees/big gulps together.

- He’s kind of a devious bastard and what I mean by that is a lot of pranks.

- Making sure he doesn’t get into too much trouble although he can usually get himself out of most situations.

- He tries to help you whenever he can in any way he can since you’re always helping him out.

- Study dates.

- Wearing his shirts when you hang out.

- Cuddling with his arm wrapped around you.

- He may not know what he’s gonna do but he’ll always assure you that he can fix things when something bad happens. He just can’t stand seeing you upset especially if it’s his fault you’re all stressed out. 

- You’ve probably smoked with him at least once.

- He quickly rips down his posters when you come over for the first time.

- His brother always interrupts you two. He probably makes fun of you two and Jeff kicks him out.

- You fight a lot, mostly because he doesn’t know how to act like an adult. He apologizes but sometimes he’s just too much to deal with and you need to take a break.

- You probably have an on again off again relationship. You both care about each other but he definitely needs to mature a little. He’s sort of just the highschool boyfriend. Not someone you’d date outside of it.

- If you’re really committed you could probably turn his life around. He does try to be an actual boyfriend even if it doesn’t seem like it sometimes.

- You know that if he can clean up his act and get his life together, the two can be happy together. It’s just a matter of if you’re willing to stick around that long.
