1. body by wet - a fic song!! it’s in the end of my soulmates fic playlist, for when the two of them figure it out. represents a lot of bradley’s pov

2. never let me go by florence and the machine - another fic song LOL from the soulmates fic. but also one of my fave songs ever ever ever. saw it live last year and it changed me. but yeah it’s how i picture the hangster relationship in every way

3. rapt by karen o - okay this is getting embarrassing at this point but another soulmates playlist song. look it’s all i listen to while i write. but i love this song so much for how simple it is, and especially the lines “love is soft/love’s a fucking bitch/do i really need another habit like you?”

4. weak by wet - guess what playlist this is one is on LOL. but mostly i love this song bc it makes me year, and way she sings “oh baby baby baby if you’re leavin you would only only only take from me”

5. a sunday kind of love by etta james - one of my fave ever love songs. just the way she sings is so beautiful and gah every sunday i play this song and think “i want a sunday kind of love”

6. if i could write by sam phillips - a song i found on gilmore girls like 10 years ago LOL. i just like the guitar and the lyric “girls looking for themselves in your eyes/I am looking for you”

7. small foreign faction by haley blais - god this song makes me feel INSANE. it’s also on the soulmates playlist bc it’s so bradley coded and therefore also me coded. the repeating lyric “i never wanted anything and i never got it” GOD

8. liquor store by remi wolf - yeah it’s uh. it’s soulmates shit. but also remi wolf fucking bangs and everyone should listen to her. i wanna write something absolutely unhinged with the lyrics “you like having sex like an animal/and i keep thinking you’re running away from me”

9. my love by florence and the machine - a song that goes so hard and always makes me wanna dance my ass off in my apartment. the glass animals remix is even better imo

10. i never by rilo kiley - old men in love!!!!! they’re old men in love and this is their wedding song and it makes me yearn so fucking much!!!!!!!!!!! if love doesn’t feel like i never by rilo kiley then i don’t want it
