This look is very similar to the one Crown Princess Victoria wore for Prince Gabriel’s christening, only in a darker shade of red. That is one of my all-time favorite Victoria looks, and I’d love to see Kate wear this one with a hat to a church service - maybe Anzac Day or Commonwealth Day.

Today’s random item is a vintage wool knitted cape, so I knew I had to create a winter look, though it did take a more fancy alpine turn when I decided to pair it with this gorgeous Lena Hoschek dress.

I decided to pair it with ankle boots that, while I wouldn’t recommend wearing them in the Alps or even in snow, you could always wear them while inside a hotel in the Alps. I just thought they went really well with the dress and the cape. Obviously, to not have cold legs, you would need to wear a pair of tights, and I just love how those ones are similar in colour to the cape.

Next, the clutch. While it might not seem like an obvious choice, I love how it contrasts with the dress and the cape without actually clashing. Also, Snow White being a German fairytale, it kinda goes with my Alpine theme.

To complete the look, I added a headband in a shade of pink close to the shade of the dress and added a pair of gold heart earrings with diamonds because they felt both simple and fancy enough for this outfit.
