Muzan by nature was a silent lover his affection wasn't the one given with grandeur declarations but rather small fragments of it scattered throughout your day. Be it you always waking up tucked under comfort of blankets and his jacket whenever you feel asleep on table waiting for his return.

‘My love’ he would call you running finger through a lose hair strand tucking it behind your ear. He cupped your face rubbing his thumb on your cheek, he didn’t bend down to kiss you but rather coxing you to sit up to reach for him.

‘Being mean to me so early in the morning’ you murmured pressing a kiss to his palm, not wanting to give into his game you grab his tie and pull his lips onto your yours. You felt his on travelling down to your abdomen garbbing your sides and started tickle you.

You laugh blostered through the room chasing away any sadness remaining from his absence. His work of scientist often took him away from her for long periods of times but you were determined to make best of the small pockets of time life would grant you.

Muzan lacked any emotional attributes that made him human, but whatever remnants where left of it they were all claimed by you. He felt at peace enveloped in your arms, he loved when you explained to him what sun felt like against your skin while tracing the constellation of freckles on your shoulder with his lips. He wanted to commit them-commit you- to his memory for human life is a fleeting thing. 

If anything came close to making him feel warm again it would always be when you held his face in your hand, drawing him in and pressing your lips to his. Maybe just maybe, he already had found his sunshine.
