QUICK OOC NOTE   ‧ ‧ ‧  this is something i used to do on other muses ( modeled after an old friend ), so i’ll be making the addition here. this is a nice way to keep up with your character and their developments - so i definitely recommend ! it’s fun and interesting to see how your muse grows, and since jiao’s 1 MONTH passed here at legacy, i figured now would be a good time to start. i’ll try to do this often, towards the end of the month, but we’ll see how that goes  👍

NOTES FROM THE PAST (2018): jiao auditioned for legacy entertainment not thinking she would give in. she tried, as she feared the wrath of her mother, but was heartbroken when she was accepted and moved to seoul. this adjustment was difficult for her. while she had experience with korean prior to her move, learning to use it everyday was a challenge. she was also on her own for the first time ever, so she faced some behavioral problems in adjusting to trainee life - lowkey hoping she’d get kicked out and sent back home. however, she was too afraid to do anything to bad so she was mainly just lazy pretty much, maybe the occasional minor rule break. notorious for her flings & love for a good party.

CURRENT: she’s definitely calmed down a lot since her first year as a trainee. after being inspired by nana, she decided to take this training a bit more seriously and committed herself to a healthy routine of training and of course partying on the weekends when she feels like it. during class, she’s  usually still laid back and has never been one to overachieve or be a kiss ass. never skips training like she used to, and focuses a bit more. career wise, she’s not sure what she’s doing.but her mother thinks she’s there to be an actress; jiao would like to keep it that way.

                                ♡      RELATIONSHIPS      ♡

after becoming a trainee, it was unsurprisingly easy for her to socialize and make friends. people like miso, ahin, jongsuk, eunji, jinah, elly, hunji, jueun, shinha, and yeoreum inspire her to be better and house close relationships with the girl. sunhee sparks a drive within her that she didn’t think existed, while jiae makes her want to be irresponsible and reckless. 

jiao is confronted with a misunderstanding between her and seolmi, as well as the risky situation of appearing on king’s v-live. 

she’s got a bad habit for holding grudges, and seungjae was unlucky enough to find this out in the most odd situation. 

jiao kinda sucks with any romantic issue - as seen in her constant string of flings (old and new), alex, and dana who's feelings for her seem to fly right over jiao’s head. she’s always been told to focus on her career rather than relationships and affection, but somehow her relationship with mike has become confusing, at least for her. friend with benefits ended up being way too confusing for her, and she’s kind of lost on what to do.

her mother has come to see her once since her move to seoul, and jiao is disheartened by the fact. at little homesick and missing her mother, the woman is becoming curious as to why it seems she has dropped on her mother’s priority list.

@lgcseungjae. she doesn’t remember the last time she’s properly spoken to seungjae, let alone be in the same room as him: just the two of them, seungjae and danbi, together but still so far apart.

(how curious, really, how people change with passing time, with forgotten feelings. he used to be her world, and now he’s just simply in it.)

it’s late at night: the kind of late where the silence is sickening. senses are heightened, latching on to every sound and every movement (the creak of the floorboards, the huff of breaths)—maybe that’s why she’s more emotional than usual. 

seeing him makes her want to cry, so she smiles instead. finishes her stretches, wipes down her sweat—she’s packing up her belongings in silence, mind roaring loud with thoughts debating whether or not she should talk to him (a good-bye’s, at the very least, expected, right?). she’s fidgeting—stalling, that’s a better word for it—with anything: the hem of her shirt, the strands of her hair, the bag strap on her shoulder.

“s-seungjae!” she stammers, worries if she’s addressing him too casually after everything considered (it’s too late now, to back down. besides, he’s always been the one to run away after all, not her). maybe it’s too soon, or rather, not soon enough. this is what closure’s supposed to be like, right?

“it’s dark out, so do you want to, maybe, walk back to the dorms together?” her eyes focus on his reflection in the mirror rather than his frame in front of her, in fear that she’ll remember—that it’ll be all too familiar—and find herself returning to what’s comfortable. does he know? his voice, his smile, that that’s what kept her crawling back for that whole year?

she’s unsure, and she has to stop herself from clutching her chest—from gripping her shirt to soothe her aching heart. ah, she realizes, it hurts after all.

it doesn’t seem like something seungjae would do –– giving candies or chocolates to others, and for something like white day. but it’s a tradition and as much as seungjae seems like the type to not go out of his way to give candies to different trainees, he thinks it’s a pretty fun tradition (even if he doesn’t say it out loud). but they’re meant to be sneaky about it, and for good reason as well.

he keeps the bag close to himself, until he spots her in the practice room. looking around in an attempt to make sure that nobody would catch him, he gently knocks on the door before entering. “hey,” he says, smile already making it’s way across his face. he holds the bag of chocolates in front of her, and has to physically stop himself from laughing out of embarrassment. “usually i’d just randomly leave this here and go, but you get a special delivery,” he jokes.

Ever since her participation in Future Dreams, Jaehwa felt as if her world has started to go a lot faster. Deadlines are nearing and she has to stretch herself out as much as she can every single day so she can bring out the best performance for her fans and the rest of the audience. The music ended as she stood in the middle of the practice room with her ending pose, eventually collapsing on the cold hard floor. 

Upon hearing a gentle knock on the door, she quickly gets up. Fortunately the person entering is not her coach but someone she is unfamiliar with. Ah, another chocolate delivery. She has been expecting it since the day where the announcement was spread among the trainees. “They look delicious,” her signature smile plasters on her lips to hide her dislike towards chocolates. When she hears that she gets a special delivery instead, the smile grew as she is unable to hide the tiny happiness. “To whom do I owe such an honor?”
