2.  Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

Hm, well, before I went and spontaneously started writing a MerMay fic (that I need to finish) and a Convin Secret Santa (that needs to be posted), I was writing a follow-up to my surprisingly successful North60 fic. And I’d really like to get back to that! I have never really written the Jericrew before this but I think I’m getting the hang of it. And Sixty is always just so much fun to write, he’s such a bastard. XD That, and I had a Rarepairs Week fic I started writing back in march and never finished. I’d like to get that done, too.

5. What character that you’re writing do you most identify with?

Honestly? (Fanon)Gavin Reed. Average height, smack-talking, can be a real asshole, past issues I’m still working through, too many vices, too little sense, insomniac, lover of coffee, anger issues, problematic family, has wrestled with overcoming prejudice, etc. It’s like... it’s all there, dude. Hank is a close contender, too, as I really dig his way of talking and his morbid sense of humor, lol. But yeah, I think Gavin definitely takes it, overall. We’re matching disasters. >_>

20.  Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)

Oh geez. Hm... I mean, as far as symbolism goes, that’s literally what The Lark Ascending is, lol. So much nature imagery in that fic, I swear. I feel like I maybe don’t use a lot of symbolism in my other fics, though. Hm, never really thought about it before. As for character/relationship development, I have so many. For one, I love Hank being, if not completely content, at least doing better after the game ends. And I love Connor being the one to help him achieve that, too. Especially if Connor is dealing with his own issues that Hank can help him with. Reciprocity! But the two of them fostered such a strong, family bond over the course of the game and seeing the aftermath of that always makes me so happy. And even better if you include Nines and Sixty in there, too! RK Bros 4 Life! (One day, Amanda will join the Anderfam, too. Mark my words.) I also really love when Gavin gets his head out of his ass and wises up about things. I so love the “Gavin Reed Redemption” tag on AO3, watching him make slow, stubborn progress and come out all the better for it is one of my favorite things. And I’m especially fond of it when that process brings him closer to other people, too. Be that a reconciliation with estranged family (because omg, Reed-Kamski bros is one of my other favorite things) or a budding friendship (with Nines, because I love them as best friends so damn much) or romance (y’all should know by now that I am a die-hard Convin fan), I just think it shows such tremendous character growth and really unlocks all the potential the game never deigned to give him in the first place. I love.  I also really love rarepairs, too. North60 and Anderstern really lead the pack for me as far as they go, but I also really love Chloski, too. And RK260 was a surprisingly good ship that one time I wrote them? I also have a North900 oneshot I wrote last year that I have a huge fondness for. (Honestly, North just works so well with every RK, I swear. Even Markus, when it’s done right.) I could seriously list rarepairs all day, but it’s very late, lol. And I think you get the idea! I’m pretty down for almost every ship except those I consider family!  I don’t really think I have anything else to add to this question, lol. I kinda ran with that second part. XD But yeah, there’s not a lot of hidden stuff going on in my fics. Sometimes I’ll use a co-workers name or something for a criminal (lol) or my old apartment number for Gavin or something, but overall, nothing huge. But yeah, Imma go ahead and leave it there.
