I think we should disembowel the mouse and leave its remains for seagulls to peck at but even though we can blame disney for most of the major plot points that end up unresolved/resolved badly by the end of the owl house i dont want fans to view the show as. Immune to genuine good faith criticism? Like the show has an amazing story and characters and it made great strides in representation. But its not a perfect show and has had problems in all three aspects even before it got canceled.

Idk if they would have fixed some of the problems had they had a full season 3 but despite speculation on what could have been the shortened season 3 is what we got. So i think while people should give the show and creators more leeway that doesnt make the final product immune to genuine problems that detract from the story. And i hope people can focus on actual critiques without being swarmed by 800 others solely blaming it on the shortening. Someone telling me about a hypothetical full season 3 where the part i was complaining about was Good, Actually, doesnt mean the part i was complaining about stops being bad. And it certainly doesnt mean im not allowed to critique it in good faith
