I know certain parts of Star Wars fandom are determined to see literally everything about the Jedi in the most bad faith way possible but one of the most baffling examples to me is when people act like they look down on all other force religions and don't take the time to understand them because they see their own way as superior when there is quite literally nothing to suggest that. Like the only other force users they have any actual beef with on principle are the Sith, which I'd say is justified considering the Sith are a bunch of fascist pricks who constantly try to take over the galaxy. Literally all the others are either allies of the Jedi or the Jedi just leave them alone to do their thing.

#like remember the guardians of the whills who are said to have evolved in parallel with the jedi #or the wookiees who yoda has good relations with and there was a whole planned tcw arc about it #or kanan and ezra respecting the lasats and even participating in one of their rituals #or even the bardottans who don't like the jedi but the jedi respect them anyway #or even the fucking nightsisters who the jedi leave alone as long as they don't cause any trouble #y'know as opposed to the sith who genocided two of those groups. and enslaved another. and destroyed another's sacred city. #literally of the five groups i mentioned the bardottans are the only ones not confirmed to have been victims of the sith #and that's just cause we have yet to see them in anything set after tcw. considering the track record here it doesn't look great for them. #but yeah clearly the jedi are the intolerant ones here #star wars #shut up tristan
